Beautiful Keuka Lake is the most picturesque of New York's pristine Finger Lakes, in the heart of the wine country. It is 20 miles long, boasts about 60 miles of shoreline and a maximum depth of 186 feet. It has become the top destination in the Finger Lakes Region.
Located within a short walking distance to Keuka Lake State Park (with boat launch and many hiking trails), our charmingly rustic, very clean cottage is situated on a quiet, private road with spectacular views overlooking the northwest branch of the lake. This cottage is perfect for a couple or a small family.
Sit back, unwind and enjoy the gorgeous romantic sunsets on 50 feet of lake frontage next to your crackling beach bonfire. Swim, fish, or take the rowboat out for a leisurely ride. Or simply take in the beautiful scenery from the comfortable patio chairs on the partially covered deck after a relaxing day of wine tasting.
The cottage is 7 miles from Penn Yan, 1 mile from Basin Park Marina (boat rentals, etc.), a very short stroll to Keuka Lake State Park, close to the famous Keuka Lake Wine Trail for tastings and tours, hiking, golfing, gift shops, antiques, many restaurants and much more.

We have enjoyed staying at this lovely cottage for over 10 years, and we hope to for many years to come. It is a simple, yet fully equipped, cottage with amazing views with a deck, lakefront and dock that just add to the relaxation. Kayaks and paddleboat too!

Super clean lake!

Thank you very much for our stay at your lovely cottage. It was so clean, so comfortable, and SO cute! The old screen doors took us back to our childhoods. We spent our days on the water and our nights around the campfire. We couldn't have asked for a nicer place, and we had the best time! Thanks again!

If you are looking for a quaint cottage on the lake with a beautiful view, look no further! This is a phenomenal property! It is well-maintained, clean, and stocked with useful thoughtful items, plus the location is conveniently located near numerous wineries. The hosts are prompt with communication and we found the co-owners nearby extremely delightful and most helpful. We have already booked our return trip for 2026, which is a first for us!

Great Cottage and Location

We stayed here near Labor Day 2024. Very nice location and beautiful view of Keuka Lake. Morning Kayak paddles were great. We also have access to the nearby State Park and launched our boat there throughout our stay. Cottage was very comfortable,

Cozy and relaxing

We had a great stay! We felt at home from the sweet welcome note to the cheese and crackers. We played scrabble on the back porch while listening to the lake. The dock and beach are fantastic! We hope to come back again in the warmer months as a family!

perfect little cottage

this cottage had everything we needed and more. the views of the lake were wonderful , taking short trips to nearby towns like PennYan and Hammondsport were great fun , plenty of great places to eat . everyone one we met was extremely nice , and the owners of the cottage were wonderful as well .

Perfect vacation!

I can't say enough about how amazing this property is! The house is clean and comfortable and incredibly welcoming. Everything you could wish for to have a worry-free stay is there. The location is very convenient to various local attractions and the views of the lake are unsurpassed. Whether you're planning on visiting nearby towns and wineries, or kicking back and relaxing on the porch, this cottage has everything you need and more.

Another great stay!

This was our second stay in the cabin. Highly recommend. Nice location in a quiet part of the lake. Short walk to Keuka Lake State Park. Convenient to wineries, breweries and Penn Yann. Cabin is very comfortable and well equipped. Thank you for another lovely stay!

Property is appealing and the views are excellent. Getting from parking spots to and from the cottage are challenging: multiple steps with no handrails. Difficult to locate cottage in the dark.

Esperanza drive property

Nice property, very easy booking, very clean, cable tv and wifi was great, one bedroom so best for family or guests who don't require a lot of privacy, there are steps to the water so be mindful of that , very cozy, good location , not too far from Penn Yan. parking for 2 cars only.

Fabulous!

This is our second time staying at this cozy cottage. Could comfortably sleep 4-5 . Loved the deck overlooking the lake. The covered patio and grill area is nice if it rains. The sunsets are fabulous. We really enjoyed the kayaks and relaxing by the water. This cottage has everything you could think of that you would need for a stay, right down to movies and books. Can’t wait to come back. Thanks for another great stay Hamilton family!

An absolute standout!

We have rented a lot of places in the Finger Lakes over the years and I have to say this was my absolute favorite. The location on Keuka Lake is absolutely spectacular… You feel as though you are private and in the woods despite being right on the lake- and because you are at the end of the lake, it’s less crowded. The ability to walk directly into Keuka Lake State Park and beyond is such a wonderful bonus. The house is everything you want to cottage to be… Simple, classic, clean, timeless… And with so many spots to enjoy the outdoors, and amenities included, such as deck, hammock, kayaks and dock and chairs and firepit right by the water. It is the perfect sunset spot as well… We sat down there both nights and watched the sun drop right in front of us. The hosts could not have been nicer and answered any questions we had promptly. Truly, it was a spectacular rental!

We had a wonderful stay.

We stayed at Esperanza Dream from 7/19-7/23. The cottage was incredibly clean and had all of the extras that were needed. So many dishes and kitchen accessories were truly appreciated. Loved the sunroom and outside deck, especially watching the sunsets and early morning views of the lake. Can't say enough about the dock and swimming area. Loved the kayaks. The canoe, not so much. The owners live a few doors down and were very welcoming. I stopped down to say hello and ended up chatting for a few minutes. They even shared some fresh garden veggies. Would love to come back. Just one side-note( not necessarily a negative)... many stairs to get up / down to the water. Think about it if orthopedically impaired. We are now thinking about retiring to the beautiful Keuka lake area.

This was the cutest quaint little cabin that had the most beautiful, peaceful viea of the lake. It was very clean and had everything needed to cook in the kitchen or grill outside. Just keep in mind to fully read the contract as you would need to bring your own linens/towels or they can be rented. Will definitely try to visit again.

The cottage was small but perfect for a couple. It was very clean. The appliances are old but worked well. Beautiful view of the lake and easy access to Lake Keuka State Park. I appreciated the access to kayaks as this was a fun activity and the lake is excellent for boating. The cottage is located within reach of many finger lakes activities. Really enjoyed our stay!

Amazing stay! Our youngest tried kayaking for the first time and loved it. We enjoyed swimming right from the shore and having family meals outside. Can’t wait to return next year!

Hidden Gem

We stayed 9 beautiful nights here. The property is nestled on the lake between 2 larger homes. It is very private and quiet, as most of the properties are lived in by owners. Keuka State Park is minutes away. It has a wonderful playground and facilities. We were able to fish, kayak, and swim at our leisure. The walk to the cottage from parking is about 10 steps down making it easy to bring things into. There is a nice size deck with a covered picnic table. The views are gorgeous. The owners provide 2 kayaks for guests, as well as a paddle boat. The kitchen is well stocked and the entire property is maintained. I loved the nautical/ patriotic decor. I can’t recommend this property enough. This is our second year and we look forward to spending time here in the future.

This cottage has been in the Hamilton family since the 1960’s. My husband Matt grew up spending his summers here. We wanted to keep it in the family and give our boys the same memories of this place and Keuka Lake. We love it here and hope it becomes your happy place too!
