Just steps from Poipu Beach Park and Brennecke’s Beach, this is an original plantation-style cottage, lovingly renovated and beautifully appointed. It features a new fully-equipped kitchen, an outdoor shower, two bedrooms, screened lanai, and landscaped garden. Its high ceilings, giant airy windows, island furnishings and tropical ceiling fans in each room give you the feeling of 'paradise of old.'

The home is in a charming beachfront neighborhood on a quiet street. Stroll to Brennecke’s Beach, famous for its perfect boogie boarding waves, or Poipu Beach, which, with calmer water and beautiful snorkeling, is always rated one of the top ten Hawaii beaches. Everything Poipu has to offer is a beautiful walk away on either the Koloa Heritage Trial or the Poipu Kai Greenbelt. This is includes restaurants, shopping, adventure outfitters, tennis courts, pickle courts, playground, and, of course, those beautiful beaches. Two great golf courses are just a mile’s drive.

A PERFECT POIPU DAY

Awake to the sounds of palm fronds and waves, and enjoy coffee on the screened lanai.

Grab your snorkel and walk to Poipu Beach to enjoy the morning fish in the warm calm waters.

Play a round of golf or join in a tennis clinic at one of the beautiful facilities near the cottage. Then sit down for a patio lunch at a local cafe.

Walk to Nukomoi’s to rent stand-up paddleboards and try this new favorite sport. Or take boogie boards from the cottage to try the waves at Brennecke’s.

Crawl onto a chaise in the garden for a few pages of your book and a nap.

Prepare a tropical salad in the fully-equipped gourment kitchen, grill fish from the Koloa Fish Market under the pergola, and relax on the garden patio with wine from The Wine Shop in Koloa.

Sleep peacefully in your Tommy Bahama king bed with luxurious sheets, while dreaming of the next day's adventures.

My husband and I had a very relaxing time at Poipu beach cottage. The amenities were great and closeness to the beach was fantastic! We had one problem where we ran out of propane so we couldn’t cook on the range, but Pam was great about solving the problem immediately after contacting Brent. He got us up and going before the gas company could get out to replenish the propane the next day. Thank you both!All in all, a fantastic stay at this property with an old Hawaiian feel to the place.

What an amazing spot for our vacation! The location simply cannot be beat and the house is so lovely. Our host went above in beyond with communication and helping us with check in and check out. The house is decorated very thoughtfully with artwork and cool furnishings. We loved hanging out in the screened in porch area and the kitchen had pro chef gas stove and great appliances. We also loved coming back from the beach and heading straight to the outdoor shower in the backyard. We loved everything about the house and will hopefully stay again!

The cottage is in such a perfect location and the host really thinks of everything. I loved that hey have plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas and even snorkel equipment. I packed my own snorkel and mask bu the fins I could borrow were great! Great neighborhood for solo travelers too.

The host was amazing and the property was well stocked and maintained for the beach and other outdoor activities. We liked the cozy lanai and the overall aesthetic was so welcoming. The propane range was also a major plus as we do like to cook while on vacation. It’s important to ask ahead before purchasing beach items that are not necessary. The host was also gracious to provide a lengthy binder on nearby restaurants and gave some tips on fun activities around Koloa. A “local connection” was great to have as you can easily spend hours researching these things before your arrival. What an amazing experience! Will come back one day!

Short walk from beach and very comfortable house

We loved our stay here. It's only a few hundred meters from the beach, but down a very quiet residential road so you're out of the fray. The kitchen has what you need and the screened in porch is a great place to relax with fresh air out of the sun. Highly recommend staying here and hope to be back.

Wonderful Cottage Stay!

This is an awesome property! It was very charming and in excellent condition, with plenty of space. The beach is a very short walk away. All the living/sleeping spaces were very comfortable, and the cottage was well-outfitted with everything we needed (kitchen, bath, beach chairs & umbrella, beach towels, etc). Highly recommended!

We visit my sister who lives on Kauai regularly, and when we found this beautiful Poipu plantation cottage, we couldn't resist.
