Charming Irish Country Cottage

A private, bright and spacious Cottage - perfect for a relaxing break and ideally located for exploring the surrounding areas.
Ideal base for touring: the Cliffs of Moher, Kylemore Abbey, Connemara, Aran Islands, The Burren, Co Clare, Cong, Galway City.
Situated in a rural area, just 10/15 minutes drive from Galway City centre.
3 minutes drive to restaurants, pubs and shops in local village.
Galway City Centre (Eyre Square) is 5 miles (8km) away.
Galway Race Course (Ballybrit) is 3 miles (5km) away.

Spacious, peaceful, cosy, self contained Charming Irish Country Cottage. There is a large and comfortable open-plan living / dining / kitchen area with all modern appliances.

Amenities: Oil central heating with stone fireplace and multi- fuel stove.
Fuel, power and starter pack for fire, bed linen, towels, and WiFi.
Two USB sockets to charge phone in Livingroom.

Kitchen is well equipped with coffee maker, fridge, dishwasher and hob.
Utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer, freezer, microwave, iron and ironing-board.

A welcome pack is provided.

Two bedrooms: one on ground floor with a comfortable 5ft Kingsize bed, (US Queen) and upstairs another 5ft Kingsize bed (US Queen) with ensuite bathroom. It sleeps four people comfortably.
Main bathroom downstairs with walk in shower, wash hand basin and toilet.

There is a garden to the side of the cottage with garden furniture.
The Cottage is surrounded by a hedge and enclosed with a gate as well as off road parking.

The property can sleep 4 pax maximum.

NO pets allowed and NO smoking in the Cottage.

NOT suitable for young children as bedrooms are not located on the same floor.
There are no facilities for infants/young children at the Cottage.

We live close by and are available to assist you, if required, during your stay.

There is a side walk/footpath to the local village which is 1 mile (2km) away.
It has a pub, two hotels, two cafés, three supermarkets, a Church, a post office and a number of shops.
A car is recommended for getting around.

We stayed at this beautiful Irish cottage outside of Galway for two nights and it was the perfect base for exploring the beautiful countryside. The directions were easy to follow and there is plenty of space for parking. We arrived on a blustery chilly day and the owners were kind enough to have a fire roaring in the stove when we got there! The cottage itself is incredibly clean and bright and comfortable. The showers were a delight after a few days on the road! The owners have thought of every detail to ensure a wonderful stay. Communication was easy and quick and the owners gave great recommendations for driving into Galway. Thank you for a memorable visit! We hope to be back!

This cottage is everything that the listing promises! We had a lovely 3 night stay in September. It is a great location for car day trips to the Cliffs and to Connemara. A comfortable and cosy cottage that has been kitted out in a modern style. All the facilities were as we needed, though it was so warm we didn’t try out the wood/peat burner.It’s a great location to explore Galway.Cathy was very welcoming, her pre visit instructions were spot on, and she popped round when we arrived to make sure all was well, that personal touch along with a few supplies was just enough.

Perfect Location

Beautifully maintained cottage, exactly as pictured. It has everything you could need during your stay. Perfect location for exploring the West coast and Galway. Close to the racecourse, and plenty of shops and places to eat. Friendly and helpful owners , to make it a wonderful place to stay.
