We have lived in the Colorado Springs area since 1994 and have raised our family here. Our children and grand children all live within a 40 minute drive and also call beautiful Colorado their home. The small community of Monument has been our home since 1995. We enjoy camping, hiking, fishing and hunting in the Colorado outdoors. Mary is a local artist and you may start to see some of her artwork soon featured in The Charleston. We both were born and grew up in Wisconsin and have meandered to IL and OR before making Colorado our home.
Why they chose this property
We have lived at The Heights at Jackson Creek in Monument since 2005. We purchased this home a block from where we had lived because of the attached "mother-in-law" apartment that we desired to turn into a VRBO apartment for others to enjoy this beautiful Colorado community. The Charleston is brand new on VRBO and we are very excited to welcome and serve new guests.

It has it's own private entrance and is locked from the rest of the ranch style home. Hardwood floors and 10 foot ceilings adorn this private retreat. Your own private full bath is off the bedroom. You are just 12 minutes from the Air Force Academy and 5 minutes from I-25. The Colorado Rockies are at your doorstep!
