Family-friendly old Berlin apartment downtown

Our modern 45 m² apartment located on the ground floor of an old Berlin apartment building - quiet and overlooking the sunny garden of the house.
The kitchen is fully equipped for 4 people, so had breakfast in peace, but also an extensive dinner can be cooked.
The cozy bedroom and living room provides the necessary space for relaxing after a day with many attractions.
The walk-in closet provides plenty of storage space.


The apartment is located in a traffic free cul de sac in the City West Berlin - from the Ku'Damm 15 minute walk. There are numerous bus and metro stations nearby, including some night trains.
Within walking distance there are many restaurants, cafes, snack bars and bars. Many shopping possibilities (eg. T. around the clock opened) and is open daily bakery round out the culinary offerings.

In addition to the many, easy-to-reach Berlin's attractions are in the vicinity of the apartment many playgrounds and public park where children and adults can find the necessary balance for the metropolis - and the Grunewald with many hiking trails and the Wannsee with its beach and many water sports are easy to reach.

It was a perfect home base for us for our trip in Germany. Location is easy to find. Two supermarkets near by and a lot of restaurants choices. Quiet neighborhood. The apartment is functional and they have all the stuff we need. The bathroom and toilet is spacious and the washer is a big plus! Host was very helpful when we had an issue. Will stay here again when we return to Berlin.

Great little apartment for 3-4 people!

We had a great stay here, the host was very friendly and helpful, the apartment was clean and had all the necessities. Wish we could've stayed for more than 2 days. The location was great with a bus stop and underground station nearby.

Cosy apartment & great host

The place was a little further from city center but in a really calm and safe neibghourhood. In the apartment was everything you need for a short stay. The host was really friendly and helpful. We definitely recommend it. :)

A business week in Berlin

The apartment is very cozy and is located in a very quiet area, well served by public transportation. The apartment is equipped with all amenities, very clean and comfortable. The apartment is on the ground floor and therefore very conveniently accessible. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Very good and quick communication. I felt like I was at home.

Great place in a good location

This beautiful old apartment is spacious with easy access to busses. The only suggestion was it would have been nice if the wifi and password were on a paper inside. We had to contact her for it, she replied immediately. The area is quiet with a great restaurant beside it Salumeria Veneto - Falco speaks good english

Great for a couple

Nice place to stay when in Berlin. Easy access to bus and subway. Grocery store about a couple hundred yards and the neighborhood is very safe. I saw the hosts only for giving me the key otherwise they were available by phone if you had questions. Perfect place for a couple to stay. I never used the kitchen other than the fridge but you can cook there, all utensils, pots pans etc. are there. I just wish the fridge had a freezer compartment, to freeze ice packs that I brought along.(Know, that if you are in Germany there is a shortage of ice cubes) All in all it was a nice stay with lots of bakeries and butcher stores(a must have in Germany) and if you like sweets, there is a ice cream cafe downstairs just to the left about 20 feet. Yes, I had some and it was delicious.

Großartig und großzügig

Eine schöne große, helle und gepflegte Berliner Altbauwohnung mitten in der Stadt zu einem sehr günstigen Preis. Mit einer voll ausgestatteten Küche: Herd, Backofen, Spülmaschine, Kaffeemaschine, Mikrowelle und vielem mehr. Sogar eine Waschmaschine gibt es im Tageslichtbad. TV und Radio gehören ebenso zum Angebot wie eine Auswahl an Gesellschaftsspielen, sollte die berühmte Berliner Luft mal allzu sehr mit Feuchtigkeit getränkt sein. Das Tüpfelchen auf dem i ist eine kleine Bibliothek mit Berlin-Literatur und einer Auswahl an Reiseführern für Berlin und Brandenburg.Das zeigt, dass die Gastgeber äußerst fürsorglich und hilfsbereit um das Wohl ihrer Gäste bemüht sind. Sie waren für alle Fragen ansprechbar, von gastronomischen Tipps bis zu Verkehrsverbindungen und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Fazit: Ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt in einer sehr angenehmen Atmosphäre. Jederzeit gern wieder!

Ruhige Oase im trubeligen Berlin

Die gemietete Zweizimmerwohnung war für uns, die wir Berlin immer auch als teilweise anstrengend empfinden, eine schöne, absolut ruhige Oase. Die ÖPNV-Anbindung und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sowie Restaurants in der Nähe waren sehr gut. Alles war für unseren Aufenthalt gut vorbereitet, es war warm und gemütlich. Die Gastgeber waren sehr angenehm. Ein paar Ausstattungsgegenstände hätten wir uns mehr gewünscht (scharfe Messer z.B.), aber das sind nur Kleinigkeiten. Sehr empfehlenswert!
