WELCOME TO "FAMILY CASTAWAY" This beautiful new open planned 5x2 home is focused for a family of all ages and is only minutes from Busselton Jetty. The house is beautifully presented with everything you could possibly need, for a relaxed and trouble-free holiday entertaining family and friends all year round. The décor is stylish, with solid spotted gum wood flooring, a huge open plan kitchen with stone bench tops, dishwasher, microwave, oven and gas stove. Large lounge/dining area, with office and games room. The whole house has ducted reverse cycle air conditioning/heating to keep you cool in summer and toasty warm in winter! The outdoor alfresco entertaining area has all you need, BBQ area and kids’ playground (adult supervision recommended). Please note: Pizza oven is not included in the rental All pets must be pre-approved (only non shedding dogs over 2 years old)
Basic Guest starter kit supplied (approx 2 days worth of toilet paper, kitchen supplies etc)
HOUSE RULES NO LEAVERS ALLOWED- PLEASE DO NOT APPLY -Noise restrictions apply after 9pm week days and 10pm weekends. No noise must be heard from the property after these hours. -Noise level must be kept at an acceptable level at all times, the neighbours should not be able to hear music or "rowdy" behaviour coming from the house. -No extra guests/people are permitted at the property due to local licensing requirements. This includes children. Maximum of 10 people allowed. -Maximum of 6 cars allowed to be parked at the property.
PETS Pets are only permitted at pet-friendly properties with the prior consent of the Manager( small NON SHEDDING dogs only). Medium-Large breeds are not allowed at the property. The following must be adhered to: No cats, rabbits or birds allowed. Dogs must be a minimum of 2 years old, no puppies accepted. Pets are to be kept under control at all times. Pets must not be left unsupervised or alone at the property at any time. If going out, it is required by local shire legislation that you take dogs with you, so they don't bark when alone in an unknown environment. Property neighbours may call the property manager and local ranger if the dog is barking. The guest is responsible for any damage caused by pets, inside or outside of the property. If extra cleaning is required this will be charge to the guest. Pets are not permitted to bedrooms or on the furniture at any time. Charges will apply for cleaning of furniture/bedding/carpets where applicable. Guests agree to bring their own pet bedding, food bowls and other pet items to the property as, unless specified these items will not be available at the property.

The house is an absolute gem - it was spotless, it had a great layout for 2 families and plenty of room for the kids (the pool table was a bonus). Highly recommend this property.
Really lovely property. 5 decent bedroom with 2 bathroom. Lots of parking for multiple families. Pool table was a hit with everyone. Had everything you need for a weekend away.
Spacious for our family of 10. Love the pool table and the playground. Located not far from the shops. Perfect! Will definitely book again the next time family comes over for a road trip down south-west.
Really good location, loved the pool room. To be honest everything was great save for just one feature: the master bedroom bed mattress is past its use by date so just one guest had some average sleep to report - but everything else was excellent. Change that one bed and it would be 5 stars all the way :-)
Really enjoyed our stay here. Everything we needed, and location was good for exploring the region. Loved the spaciousness of the house and carpark for an extended family Christmas lunch. Kids enjoyed the playground, and adults enjoyed the aircon! Communication and service from owner/manager was excellent with the one issue we had (toaster tripping power). Thank you for such a great place, helping to make a wonderful holiday! Definitely recommend!!

Hidden costs
Lovely roomy house. Great parking. very little noise from busy road. Hidden costs on booking.
From the moment we arrived we were impressed by the amenities and feel of the home. The check in process was seamless and the house tidy and clean.
I was pleasantly surprised that the 5th bedroom (twin double) did infact have a door contrary to a note in the listing.
The front room with pool table was well utilised during our stay and the kids play ground was fantastic for our 4 and 2 year old.
All amenities worked and the kitchen well stocked with crockery, cutlery, pots/pans and kids plastic items too.
The house is on a busy road but a large pull in drive way/parking lot which made access to and from the house easy. It's also situated only a short drive from shops and restaurants.
We would be very happy to stay here again with my family.
We were a 4 generation family 20 months to 77 years age this property had something for everyone
It was extremely hot week when we stayed the beach was a short walk, and aircon system worked a treat

Super clean and tidy upon arrival bar the BBQ which I imagine had not been used (we did not use it so this was not an issue). Complimentary mini shampoo bottles and soap, appropriate amounts of toilet paper and clean towels, and beds were very comfortable. The gas ran out half way through our stay but the owners were very prompt in responding with a solution. Great area near the jetty however the road we were on was very hard to get out of but I would not mark the house down on this. Loved our stay, thanks guys!
This was a perfect house for the 10 of us to stay informed the weekend. It accommodated us well. It was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. It is on a very busy Road but it was great to have the extra parking as we had 4 cars.
Good location, close to everything, easy check-in with tenant. Plenty of room for 9 people.
Negatives: no gas on check-in so unable to have showers or cook on gas stove on first night. BBQ dirty and infested with slugs when opened. Garden untidy, requires a good weeding.

Thank you for your review Lee. The gas was resolved within the hour of you contacting me, was a simple fix and we attended at 9:30pm when you contacted us. The gas ran out midway through your showers, something that is impossible for us to foresee. A simple gas change (turning a dial) and igniting the hot water system. (instructions and photos are in our booklet but we were happy to assist). The garden has been weeded and gets attended to every 6 weeks by a gardener. It's been very wet with burst of lovely sunshine which weeds love. A couple of small weeds in a garden bed shouldn't affect your stay though.
Bbq was clean, sorry I can't control if a slug finds it way onto it 3 days after you checked in, they also love the wet weather and the bbq is in the garden. 1 slug doesn't equal an infestation.

We were 5 primary school friends still in touch and turning 65 this year. The property had 5 bedrooms which was perfect for us but would be equally perfect for families. Close enough to town and the jetty but far enough away to be private and quiet. The house was just as described and we had a lovely time. Busselton really is worth a visit and has some fantastic wineries and eateries close by. We all loved it.
