This holiday home has been furnished to a very high standard offering the most up to date equipment and comfort.
There is a large patio and mature garden and the swimming pool is heated. All facing south, thus ensuring sun all day long. The sunbeds have luxurious cushions for your comfort. There is a barbeque and outside dinning area for those alfresco meals. Free Wifi.
Just 5 minutes walk from the marina will bring you to the golden sands of Playa Dorada beach which is very clean and sheltered. It has two beach bars and a few cafes nearby. A further 5 minutes walk will bring you into the Old Town of Playa Blanca. This is where the ferry leaves for Fuertaventura. The coastal promenade starts here, goes through the marina and finishes near Papagayo. Fabulous for walkers.
This has to be one of the very best areas in the whole of the Canary Islands, coupled with year long sunshine, makes it an ideal holiday destination for families and couples.

We spent a lovely 3 weeks in this villa. Everything was excellent and the villa was really well equipped. We loved the sunbathing and pool area . The beach was a lovely walk along the promenade and we spent lots of days on the beach with our daughter and grandchildren. We were close to the marina with many restaurants for eating out in the evening. We would love to return here next year if available.

Lovely Villa in a great location

This villa was perfect for our family of four and in such a great area being so close to the marina. There was everything there that you could need and Amanda and her team could not be more helpful. Unlike some villas hotels we have previously stayed in the pool was always lovely and warm and kept really clean. Would definitely recommend anyone to stay here - Thank you Amanda - we will be back.

Marina Rubicon is a great place to be :-)

We had wonderful 12 days in Playa Blanca/Marina Rubicon. The accommodation was ideal for us. Clean, quiet and well located, also W-LAN ran very fast. Everything is within walking distance (e.g. several beaches, supermarkets, restaurants). The pool is wonderful to cool down a bit. This was certainly not our last holiday on Lanzarote.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The pool could have been a bit warmer and not that easy to get out of if you have mobility problems as the metal steps don't go down far enough. A bit concerned about the squatters in the building opposite but they never bothered us. Supermarket and the marina very close by which was great, so overall a very good place to stay.

Wonderful position and excellent villa

We had a really super holiday . The villa was very clean and very well equipped. The heated pool which was cleaned twice during our week was wonderful and the garden very pretty. It was a quiet area but close to shops, supermarket and the lovely Marina. Facing south we had sun all day and the outdoor furniture was very comfortable

We had a really great week at La Casita. It is very well appointed in a delightful marina area, 2 mins from nearest supermarket and 5 mins from marina. The villa is extremely well equipped with everything you could possible need and is spotless. Sorry, I forgot to thank Amanda for the welcome pack which was much appreciated. Spoilt for choice with all the excellent restaurants, we ate 3 times in Lanis and were not disappointed but Blue Note was also excellent. We will definitely be returning here

A superb stay

We can only echo earlier reviews: a superb villa in a perfect location, only two minutes walk to Marina Rubicon but very, very quiet. The villa is spacious, comfortable and well equipped. A relaxing terrace had sun (but with shade available too) throughout the day. We have had many holiday rentals in many places this is with the very best A lovely 11 days. Communications with Amanda were promptly responded to. We always hesitate to recommend restaurants but after three visits to El Horno de la Abuela in central Playa Blanca (a street behind the main promenade walk, worth googling for) we feel confident to do so. Also, the cafe Damien on the corner next to Hyperdino Express supermarket does great coffee and breakfast croissants with a delightful lady serving. Only 2 minutes walk from the villa, we went past it many times before discovering what a gem it is. B and JB

Just returned from an 18 day stay in La Casita. Lovely villa in a fantastic location right next to the Marina and easy walking distance to Playa Blanca old town. Everything you need is on your doorstep including a supermarket less than 2 minutes away. Amanda was a fabulous host responding quickly to every email sent and took the time to come and introduce herself to us, the personal touch really makes a difference. Villa was clean comfortable and well equipped with its own heated pool and BBQ, outside seating area and comfortable sun loungers. Pool towels are provided which again we found to be a helpful extra. Had a another fantastic holiday in Playa Blanca and would not hesitate to book through Amanda again.

Perfect location and villa for 4 people

We stayed at villa casita for 2 weeks. 2 adults and 1 child. The villa on first impression was that it was very clean and contained everything you need for a self catering holiday. Amanda who owned the villa was lovely and she came after the first week to change the linen towels and give the villa a clean. Josh the pool/maintenance man was absolutely great and we enjoyed our chats with him. He came to tend the pool and plants twice a week which is something we have never encountered on our previous villa holidays with other owners. It was lovely to see that the owners cared about our holiday experience and their villa. The villa was ample big enough for us with plenty of wardrobe space and seating area. The pool itself was on the small size but to be honest unless you are going to be swimming lengths it was big enough for the three of us. I would describe it as a plunge pool. But I have to say again it was kept very clean. The location of the villa is great a minute walk to the Hiperdino supermarket and to the many restaurants on the marina. Our favourites being Il commendatore and Lanis snack bar and also their steak house. There is a lovely market on the marina on weds and Saturdays between 9-2 and it does get busy on those mornings. We hired a car but hardly used it as we thoroughly enjoyed the 25 minute walk along the promenade/coastline into playa Blanca where we enjoyed shopping and eating in the many various restaurants, our favourites being the camel restaurant for steak, new orientalist asiatico for Chinese, Isla Bonita for fajitas and paella. The villa is situated in an area of similar villa buildings and it was quiet. I would totally recommend this villa for a perfect getaway to sunny playa Blanca our favourite place in the world.

Lovely villa, warm pool

Really enjoyed the week at La Casita, there is free WiFi and plenty of room in the villa. The pool was checked twice there and chlorine tablets put into the system, only downside to this was that it turned my daughter’s hair slightly green. It’s lovely and quiet there and about 5 minutes walk there is a supermarket, coffee shop, a designer complex and a bar that did lovely food. Had our breakfast there the first morning. It’s only 4 euros in a taxi to the centre where there’s loads of shops and bars. Amanda arranged for our cases to be collected and one of our neighbours offered to take our flight bags for us as we had a late flight home. Would definitely recommend this villa.

Perfect villa in quiet location

What a lovely villa, in a quiet cul de sac but only 5 minutes from the main Marina area. We loved our own pool and the sun on the patio all day with shade under the balcony. The supermarket can be seen from the bedroom balcony and the lovely upmarket Marina is just a five minute walk away. Lots of really good attractive restaurants are trying hard to provide high quality food. A good range of bars overlook the Marina. Couldn't fault this villa it had everything we needed ( apart from a sea view, but you can't have everything!) for a perfect holiday in the sun. Booking and contacts were easy. Amanda the owner obviously cares for her villa. We highly recommend.

The villa that has it all!

We've just returned from a wonderful week in Lanzarote. We've stayed on the Island a few times and our preferred resort is Playa Blanca and in particular the up market Marina Rubicon. This villa was excellent and although we’d read the impressive reviews, it still exceeded all our expectations. The location was fantastic, as the villa is neatly tucked away in a small quiet cluster of villas. The advance communication from the owner, along with the directions were spot on and we found the property easily. Car parking at the property was a bonus and due to the location, in relation to the Marina, we hardly used it throughout our stay. It was just a couple of minutes walk to both the nearest supermarket and the Marina, which was perfect for us. The main resort, Playa Blanca was a 20 minute walk along the beautifully paved promenade. On arrival the villa was exceptionally presented, spotlessly clean inside and out. The front garden is well tendered and the pool was cleaned twice during our stay. As the pool was heated this was well used by all of us, but especially our 5 year old son and pool towels were even provided. Although we ate out every day, the kitchen was well equipped and the owner, Amanda even left a welcome parcel, which included, water, milk, wine, biscuits etc. We met Amanda part way through the week, when she called in to drop off clean towel and she was lovely and welcoming. I highly recommend this villa, if you’re looking to stay close to the Marina.

Fab villa in a great location

We found the villa very well equipped, we were really delighted with it. It has all the things you need for a perfect holiday. We found it spacious enough for 2 adults and 3 children (the third child was on a fold up bed) The pool was maintained well, clean and warm enough to swim in every day (December) For us the biggest plus point was the location. La Casita is situated in the heart of the Marina, it has a supermarket, bowling alley and a variety of shops right on the doorstep. You don't need a car at all. Walking into Playa Blanca along the promenade takes 20mins or so but is a lovely walk. Lots of delightful restaurants and bars. If you book this villa you will not be disappointed! We will definitely be back again soon.

Fabulous home from home

Thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay. The villa was immaculately clean as was the pool and outside area. In a quiet cul de sac yet close to the Marina and only a couple of minutes from the local supermarket. This has to be the nicest villa we have stayed in with lots of little extras. From the diffuser for the hairdryer to dad's and games for kids. The welcome items were also a lovely suprise. We would definately return

My name is Amanda and I have lived in Lanzarote for 16 years with my son Charlie. We built a house in the middle of the Island and whilst it was being built we bought La Casita as a new build, in the marina Rubicon. Nothing was open then but we could see great potential as a holiday let. It has turned out even better than we thought. There is an amazing choice of excellent restaurants and shops, diving centre and supermarket. Everything you could possibly want from a holiday home. We also enjoy sailing which is another reason for having a house near a marina.

Why they chose this property

We bought La Casita in 2005 when the new marina Rubicon had just been built. We could see then the potential of the area for a rental house. The layout is superb and there is an excellent variety of shops and restaurants on the doorstep, although still very quiet.

What makes this property unique

The property is just 2 minutes walk into the center of the marina. There is no need to hire a car as all the amenities are close by. However, there are 3 car hire shops in the area if you choose to explore the Island. There is a long coastal promenade which you can walk from one end of Playa Blanca to other. This is lit in the evening.
