Disappointing experience

This house is beautiful without any doubt but it misses some essential basic things. First of all when we arrived we saw that there was no sleeping room with airco as was written in the description. After we complained the owner ordered the opening of a second sleeping room that was locked. This one had an air conditioner. The rest of the house lacked airco and was unlivable because of the heat. The ceiling ventilators in the living weren't working like it should and one broke down during our stay. The water pressure was also minimal so taking a shower wasn't a pleasure either. Finally the fridge in the kitchen was so small that we had to go to the supermarket every 2 days because there wasn't enough room in this office fridge. To sum it up one big disappointment this house.

Haus mit Fernblick

Das Haus ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und macht insgesamt einen gehobenen Eindruck. Im März muss auch auf Zypern geheizt werden. Die Heizung war in den ersten zwei Tagen nicht funktionsfähig. Die im UK lebende Eigentümerin hat sich sehr bemüht und schließlich wurde die Angelegenheit behoben. Der Fernblick über die Stadt auf das Meer ist beeindruckend. Die Lage macht allerdings ein Auto zwingend. Auch Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind nicht fussläufig erreichbar.

Lovely villa with stunning views

Thank you for such a wonderful stay in your villa, the views are breath-taking and would recommend watching the sun set around 8pm before heading out for dinner. The villa was equipped with everything we needed and the brand new kitchen is fantastic. The free wifi was an added bonus too!

Great holiday

This was our second holiday in your villa and would highly recomend it as nicely furnished, well equiped, clean and comfortable, very private but most of all we enjoyed the magnificient sea views. They are breathtaking. It is very queit and private, great place to relax. Very good value for money.

Wonderful Cyprus

It wasn't our first visit, we keep coming back as often as possible. The villa is very comfortable and have all the necessary amenities you need. The location is perfect and views are spectacular. Because the villa is situated up no the hill, we had a lovely cool breeze and we were able to manage without using AC. Very good value for money. Highly recommended. We will be back for sure.

Holiday 2013 in TALA VILLA

General condition of villa, in need of updating. Trees on the bbq terrace have overgrown and spoil the possible sea view. Broken seal on the oven prevents it's use. The bathroom sink has a plug which is difficult to remove. Some outdoor furniture in need of replacement. Building site adjacent to villa not mention in original description but briefly mentioned in the emailed, Airport to Villa directions! The peace and tranquil setting, somewhat spoilt buy the busy road. The three stars have been awarded for the panoramic view from the small kitchen terrace.

Knowing Paphos very well, we chose to buy our villa in one of It's best locations. As it is also our second home we wanted to create a warm, comfortable and relaxing atmosphere with our guests in mind.

Why they chose this property

Buying our villa was a dream come true. We always loved the Island and wanted to return.
We enjoy the morning sun and superb sun sets from our private terraces and gardens.
Above the villa, two minutes walk away a magnificiant view spot, a Municipality park with Greek amphitheatre for summer plays and concerts, a children play area and cafeteria.
Very close to famous 12th century Agios Neophytos Monastery where we often take walks, have coffee there and enjoy it's atmosphere and charm.

What makes this property unique

Privacy, space, panoramic views across the blue Mediterranean. Not in a tourist complex.
Walking distance to medieval monuments, the 12th century Monastery of Agios Neofytos and Agia Ekaterini 15th century church in The Tala village square.
