Spacious villa with large pool close to Loule

Casa Palmerias is a fully equipped four bedroom home set in an elevated position in the hills just 5 minutes from the bustling market town of Loule, which has many shops, restaurants and markets.

With country and ocean views, it is in a tranquil location only 15 minutes to many beautiful golden beaches (including Vale do Lobo), Ria Formosa and to numerous championship golf courses.

20 minutes from Faro airport and with quick access to the A22 motorway, the villa is the ideal location to explore all that the Algarve has to offer. Lisbon is a 2.5 hour drive away and Seville a two hour drive.

The spacious villa has a very sizeable open plan living and dining area and a covered terrace ideal for outdoor dining or lazy evening barbecues, which overlooks the kidney shaped pool . The pool has a generous sunbathing terrace and there is an additional roof terrace with extensive countryside views across to the sea and boasting a large open air chess board. There is also a separate games room with a full size table tennis table.

The villa has 100Mb fibre optic broadband and 5GHz Wi- Fi inside and out. The lounge has a large TV set with Apple TV and Amazon Fire TV.

The kitchen has a breakfast bar, is well equipped and includes a fridge, dishwasher, microwave, an ice maker and coffee machine. Outside there is a separate area boasting a freezer, washing machine and separate drier.

The villa is ideal for two families or a larger group and has very easy access to golfing, hiking, cycling as well as being an excellent base to explore the wider Algarve.

For any stay of longer than 4 weeks we may require prior signing of a rental agreement including payment of electricity and rates and an appropriate deposit.

Great location. Very quiet & beautiful surroundings & views.

Very relaxing 10 days spent here, Villa had everything we needed & felt very homely & spacious. Pool area was fantastic and the views were great. We really appreciated the welcome pack & the provisions of essential Items was a lovely touch. Lots of towels, pillows etc beds very comfortable - air conditioning was a godsend!

Loule Hills Retreat

We had a wonderful 3 weeks at Casa Palmeiras. The location is fantastic with car - quick drive into Loule and wonderful walks from the property into the surrounding hills. It is peaceful, relaxing home with good views and birdsong.

Chilled out week in very hot Portugal!

We had a great week at Casa Palmeiras. Stayed when the Algarve was enjoying temps in the high 30s, so actually spent a lot more time in the villa than we planned. It was lovely though - a good sized pool that was perfect in the heat, comfortable beds, each room a good size. Apple TV, decent WiFi and, our favourite gadget, the ice maker! Loved the table tennis, although we didn't get much better as the week went on. Loule and it's restaurants and shops is a really short drive.

Home away from home.

Centrally located in the Algarve, this villa was our home away from home for our time in Portugal. Conveniently located close to Loulé, we shopped regularly at the market, made day trips around the area, and relaxed in this spacious, peaceful villa. Sonia and Paul were fabulous, responsive hosts. Hopefully we will return again.

Quite Paradise

The home was everything we hoped for clean, organized, spacious and when we arrived there was a small prelimenary purchase made for the house! We were a group of 10 and we slept comfortably. The beach was 15 min away by car and the views of the sunset and the climatized pool were surreal. We look forward to coming back! Thanks again, Paul.

Great place and great host

We had a great time at the villa, where we spend three night in late February-early March. We were a group of 10, including four teenagers and the accommodation felt spacious and comfortable. The villa was very well equipped and the communication with the host was excellent. throughout our trip. Unfortunately the weather was not great during our stay so we couldn't use the outdoor space and the swimming pool but the green surroundings, nice views and beautiful garden make for a very pleasant stay. To approach the villa you need to go through small streets in which there was construction work when we stayed but overall it is easily accessible by car. Overall, I would highly recommend it, many thanks to Paul and Sonia for making sure that we had a great stay!

Reviews are misleading. There are several inaccurate descriptions and issues. No king size beds, AC is only in rooms, poor maintenance with clogged showers, old thorn furniture, lack of pool beds and shades, unkept garden. One of the rooms is actually in the basement... We had also the unfortunate presence of road construction with tons of dust that the owner was not able to warn while reserving.Overall not as pleasant as we hopped.Pool is nice and big though. The only star of the house.

Photos on vrbo are a bit misleading. Property is needing a bit of tlc and updating. Overall we were comfortable and it was clean however tv channels didnt work just kept scrolling whatever the kids chose to watch, sofas really need replacing not covering up with throws and outside was a bit tatty and all needed a good sweep down from cobwebs etc. AC in main bedroom doesn't work too well and is very noisy. Also a bit wierd that owners clothing and shoes were left in hall and cupboards. Thought villa was overpriced for what it was.

We had a lovely week in the Villa, the pool was definitely the highlight for our family! We always used it once a day but some days we were able to swim twice a day. Our teenagers were grateful of the WiFi to contact their partners back home and the Apple TV/Fire Stick was great to access Netflix. The sofas are well used but still comfy. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and the welcome package was welcomed. We hadn’t realised it was best to drink bottled water at the Villa so just to make others aware as we would have bought more on our way to the Villa if we’d known. The roads to the Villa are small and the driveway is steep, but we got the hang of them as the week went on!The aircon in the main bedroom is louder than in the bedrooms but we were still able to use it and sleep ok. The beds were hard for our liking but we got used to them and slept well. We had a leak in the second bathroom bath but after reporting it someone came out the next day to solve it. The gardens/pool etc were well kept and looked after. Overall we had a great week and we visited some beautiful local places. Definitely recommend Pudim real boat tours from Faro, we were able to see dolphins & a whale in the wild which was amazing! Also Tavira beach was worth the trip with its lovely restaurants. There’s a bag of beach equipment in the hall, the snorkel set was a big help as spare set for the kids. We also had a lovely day at Quinta da Tor winery in Loulé.

Excellent location, wonderful pool, great for a family

Case Palmeiras was perfect for us and we really enjoyed our short stay. It is just a few minutes' drive from the lovely town of Loule, but still feels quite rural, in the peaceful foothills of the Algarve. Really good for teenagers as the pool is large and deep, with lots of inflatables and toys available to use, along with a ping pong table. The atmosphere of the house is informal and relaxing, which is exactly what we wanted. If you want to explore the quieter parts of the 'old' Algarve, but still have great access to all the beaches and the airport, this would be an ideal stay for a family or small group. You really do need a car to make the most of this property and it's location, though. Finally, the owner, property manager and cleaner were all lovely - very welcoming and kind. We are grateful!

Je ne m attendais pas à ce que cette maison soit aussi bien. Les photos de l annonce ne la représentent pas à sa juste valeur. La maison, la grande piscine, ses équipements et son emplacement sont vraiment super. La grande terrasse vue sur la piscine est à l abris du soleil et très fraîche. Un vrai Havre de paix ou on a le sentiment que le temps s arrete. Merci à Sonia pour son acceuil et au travail de ses équipes. Et bien entendu merci à Paul qui ne laisse rien au hasard

La maison est très spacieuse et très bien équipée. Rien ne manque dans la cuisine. La terrasse est agréable avec vue sur la grande piscine. La localisation est parfaite : à quelques minutes en voiture du centre de Loulé pour les courses, le marché et les restaurants. Les plages sont faciles d'accès en voiture. Paul répond très rapidement à toutes nos questions et Sonia nous a très bien accueillis sur place et reste très disponible pendant le séjour. Nous garderons un très bon souvenir de nos vacances dans cette maison. Karine et toute sa famille.

For us the perfect location, 5 minutes drive from Loule a lovely authentic Portuguese town, and 15 minute drive to the beach. The villa was beautifully proportioned with well sized bedrooms and lounge and kitchen areas with easy access to the balcony and pool area. Fantastic home for a vacation

This was all the way through a fantastic house for a fantastic vacation. Very helpfull owner and onsite support, beautiful and very calm area. You are 3.5 km from the supermarket though we just used Uber, which was cheap and easy. I can only recommend the house and we will come back, We were a 2 adults and 5 teenagers. BR Pia

Paul the owner was very helpful infact stayed up very late to help us as a young family on our very first holiday to find the villa and he cleaner was a lovely lady who helped us in and showed us round We could not of wished for a better holiday we loved the villa it was clean and tidy and the space for us all was amazing it was not far from the busy towns and amazing shops and beaches we soon found our way around it was worth every penny and I would say a car is essential to get around as advised by Paul to do so our family and I appricate the length that paul went to go t, to helping us with any questions and we also spoke on the telephone and even at 1.30 am making sure we arrived at the villa safely was a lovely touch and we would definitely like to book again in the very near future Thank you very much paul and family for sharing your villa with us Best regards Michelle and family xx

Perfect family holiday

Just back from a fantastic weeks stay with all our family. The Villa is in a quiet location, but close enough to Loule for shops and Supermarket. Fabulous beaches and a good range of restaurants are all within 15/20 min' drive. It offered everything we needed and more. The indoor and outdoor space is perfect, with a great pool and plenty of sun beds. It was ideal for our young Grandchildren to keep a watchful eye on them. The bedrooms were comfortable with Air/Con in each, and Bathrooms well equipped Paul was very helpful, and made the booking very easy, supplying all the necessary information required, and returned the security deposit within 3 days of our return. Would definitely return again and will certainly recommend to friends.
