Luxury canal-side apartment in heart of Dorsoduro - Fully Inclusive Rates

Ca' Leonessa is a recently (2010) restored luxury apartment located in the heart of Venice. It is a short walk from the bus and railway stations. Due to its superb location all the sites of Venice are either within walking distance or a couple of stops on the vaporetto. In the furnishing of the apartment the prime consideration has been to create a comfortable and welcoming oasis for you after a busy days sight seeing in magical Venice.

The living room (which overlooks the canal and the Campo San Barnaba) features two Natuzzi sofa's (one double sofa bed) a Linn sound system and HD television with DVD/CD player.

Both bedrooms are bright and airy with comfortable beds and have plenty of hanging/storage space in the bespoke wardrobes. Bedroom 1 has a luxurious double bed with fine linens and traditional Venetian fabrics. Bedroom 2 has two single beds. Both bathrooms are fully tiled with power showers.

The kitchen has been hand built and features dining for 6.

We loved this place! It was close to a smaller square with restaraunts and stores. The beds were comfortable and we were close to lots of transport options. For sure recommend for your time in Venice!

Good for what it is. It's an older place of course so a little dated, and I definitely wouldn't use the word luxury in the title, very minimal amenities were included. Anyways AC was nice and strong. Great location.

Looking around Venice for a place to stay, this one stuck out when our other VRBO did not work out. It’s in a great location and we were able to pop in and out no matter where we were on the island. Check in was great and easy and I was able to contact the host directly. The second bedroom was a little tight for two adults, but we also did not hang up our clothes because it was a short stay. Overall, we enjoyed the apartment, and the AC was cool.

Great place in Venice. We would definitely stay here in cooler months. Unfortunately, the air conditioning was only in front foyer and hallway, causing most of the house to be warm. Be mindful of the different levels and steps, as most of my party tripped a couple times on them. However, it is a very charming place in a lovely area with a lovely view of the canal. The floors could be deep cleaned a bit overall. It had the charm we were looking for and is perfect for Venice.

Ca' Leonessa is situated in a wonderful area of Venice. It is a lively, mostly Italian, neighbourhood. The area has many good places for dinner. It is very near the vaporetto stop which makes it very easy to get around. It was nice being so central but not with the maddening crowd. The apartmenet is a good layout and the rooms are spacious. I would stay here again.

It's a nice property, clean and close to many restaurants. Conveniently located close to canal bus stop. Please do not call this a luxury apartment. No toiletries, no coffee/filters, this a just a home with beds. No luxury amenities.

We had a little problem with meeting the person for the keys… we waited outside the apartment for at least 20 minutes. The air conditioning was really only cooling the hallway… they did have a few fans. I liked the pull out couch… we had 4 people, so 2 bedrooms & pull out couch that worked…. 2 bathrooms made it easy for us to get ready faster. The communication was pretty good except for the getting of the keys
