Our family of 6 had a wonderful time at the house. The mountain range views, fire pit, wild life (saw deer and turkeys) and indoor activities all provided plenty of entertainment for 4 kids (6 months to 7) this week. Great stay!

We enjoyed our stay. It was a very relaxing weekend. Perfect chefs kitchen. Something very everyone, big screen TVs to watch March madness, pool table, hot tub, fire pit. The reading room was a perfect start for daily devotionals. The sunset views on the back porch were the perfect ending each day.

We have stayed in many mountain cabins, and this was by far our favorite of all time!! The view is amazing. Location is perfect. Private, but close to everything! The home itself is beautiful, and decorated so lovely. Our teen kids and their friends stayed in the downstairs area which is perfect for teens/kids. The little trails on the property are also really cool to explore! We loved it here, and would defanitly stay here again.

Our family of 6 adults and 1 very busy 3yo had a wonderful time at the Mountain Camp. The pictures don't adequately show how much room there is inside and on the deck, where we spent most of the evenings. The house is comfortable and has everything we needed, and the location makes visiting Blowing Rock and the other towns in the area very easy. We hope to come back for another stay. I already miss that view!

This rental was the nicest one we have ever stayed at. 3 generations of our family gathered from 3 cities in NC and Houston, TX. We loved the deck, fire pit, grill and the lovely indoor spaces. It was close to hiking on the Blue Ridge Parkway and trips to Blowing Rock and Boone. We loved the kitchen. Tons of high quality cookware and amenities. Look forward to a return visit. Only glitch was an issue with the lock which took several calls and 45 minutes to resolve.

Thank you so much! We are so pleased you enjoyed your getaway! We are sorry to hear that there were issues with the electronic door code, but we appreciate you working with our team. We'd love to have you visit anytime! - BRMR
We had an absolutely magical weekend at Mountain Camp. The location was perfect, the views were unmatched and the amenities were just what we needed. Honestly, the pictures don't do the back porch justice - we spent the majority of our time around the fire table and in the hot tub enjoying the views and mountain air. The kitchen is well-appointed and the house was clean.
We did have a little issue with the door code on arrival but the team at Blue Ridge responded promptly and helped us get in. I can't say enough great things about this place - really hope to come back and enjoy it again soon!

This was our first time to the Blowing Rock area and this house is in a great location. A short drive to downtown Blowing Rock and easy/convenient access to other areas (downtown Boone, Grand Father Mountain, etc.).
Property management company was excellent and incredibly responsive leading up to trip.
House was solid and has great view off of back patio. Only negatives about house include dated furniture, only one tv (there is one other one but in poor location), and very weak/slow internet (I think a prior review also noted this). We would definitely stay here again (primarily due to location), but would probably look for other options first.

Had a long weekend couples trip at this cabin and it was perfect! Probably the cleanest property I've stayed at & I've stayed at a bunch. The whole covered back deck was perfect even on a rainy day you can enjoy the hot tub & fire table with gas grill. It was a great place to just relax, unwind and drink a few glasses of wine. If I had to make any suggestions for improvement it would only be a bar area in the basement with a refrigerator because there are a lot of steps to go upstairs, especially when having a couple of drinks. The water pressure also seemed low but tolerable. These were the only things at all I could come up with for suggestions because it was an amazing weekend!

Me and four of my girlfriends booked this house for a long weekend and it was perfect! It’s literally less than half a mile down from WestGlow which made it very convenient for our day at the spa. Communication with the rental management company was fantastic and the house was well stocked and super clean. Plenty of towels for everyone including for the hot tub and we each got a robe which was great. The hot tub was very clean and well-maintained. The views were spectacular and we especially loved the sitting room off the kitchen. This house has everything you need and plenty of space for a big family gathering. It is just a short drive to downtown Blowing Rock which was perfect. The only suggestion I would have is to install some kind of wireless booster because when you have multiple people on the Wi-Fi it tended to run pretty slow. Otherwise it’s an amazing house that even includes a garage for two cars which was really nice when we got a huge dump of snow. We will definitely book again.

A major reason I booked this property was because of the beautiful fire pit on the front porch. I booked this trip about 5 months ago, and was never told this amenity was broken. When we got to the property, I was very disappointed that this did not work at all. I reached out to the owner through VRBO message and they did not respond. In addition, the bedroom downstairs was not clean at all. It was covered in black dog hair and crumbs all over the sheets, housekeeping did not clean this downstairs room or bathroom at all.

We love this cabin and we love Blue Ridge Rentals! They always take very good care of us. Although this time the cabin was very dusty, hand prints and smudge marks on the windows, glass doors, and mirrors. The front of the fridge, oven and dishwasher were also dirty. Fans and stair case were covered in dust and the floors were dirty. Sheets were old and piled. We were disappointed because this has been our families favorite rental for years. We still love Blue Ridge Rentals and we still left a tip for Billie the cleaning lady. Hopefully it will be better next time. Also, side note… I did not message or call them about this issue while there, we did not want our stay interrupted by someone coming to “re-clean” so my daughters and I took care of it. The additions on the house are beautiful. Could use an upgrade to the kitchen and appliances.

Our family very much enjoyed our stay at Mountain Cabin. It was clean and well thought out for a large family including the firepit that we enjoyed along with the roasted marshmellows. It was just a short drive to Blowing Rock and we loved the park for our little ones and the Blue Deer ice cream for everyone. The trip was a real treat for us.

We had an amazing vacation at this property. We had 2 family’s with 4 adults & 5 teenagers. This house has the perfect set up the way it’s laid out. The upstairs was where the adults stayed and then downstairs was the teenagers area... and ours too when the parents wanted to beat the kids at a game of pool! There were 2 bedrooms, full bath and loft downstairs with a entertainment room with pool table for the teens. Great area, so close to the cute town of Blowing Rock and a 30 min drive to Sugar Mountain where everyone has a blast snow skiing and then the hot tub was perfect for warming us up after a long day on the slopes. We will definitely be back to this property it was Perfect!
