The host made this a great experience. From reservation to check in to exploring assistance to neighborhood recommendations. We couldn’t have been more pleased. The location of this property is excellent. We appreciated the parking space and local shopping/restaurants. Definitely would stay again.

Perfect location.

A lovely stay but for those who might suffer from allergies there was a definite mildew smell in one of the bedrooms. Check in was smooth. Great communication between the owner, her daughter and myself. A beautiful location with some nice restaurants in the area.

Herzliche Gastgeberin und verkehrsgünstige Lage in Sintra

Die Begrüßung und Übergabe durch Esperanca war äußerst herzlich und sehr wohlwollend und ließ keine Wünsche offen. Es gab anfangs ein paar technische Probleme, die aber sehr schnell gelöst werden konnten. Der Parkmöglichkeit direkt am Haus und auch der schöne Garten waren super. Ebenso die Schallschutzfenster, was man erst merkte, sobald die Fenster zum Lüften geöffnet werden mussten und von 9 bis 18 Uhr die Geräusche des Zubringerverkehrs zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten von Sintra nicht zu überhören waren. Auch auf der netten Terrasse vor dem Wohnungseingang im ersten Stock waren die Geräusche und Düfte des Verkehrs leider wahrnehmbar. Die Räume waren mit Dielenböden und Stuckdecken schön renoviert. Den nicht sehr großen Kühlschrank sollte man nicht zu kalt einstellen, da sonst Kühlgut an der Rückwand erfrieren kann. Das Ess- und Kochgeschirr war teilweise angeschlagen bzw. unbrauchbar und war auch teilweise nicht sauber und passte auch nicht wirklich gut zusammen. Die Entlüfter der fensterlosen Nassräume waren zwar sehr laut, aber dafür auch nicht sehr wirkungsvoll. In den Duschbädern gab es weder Wandhalterungen für Toilettenpapier, noch einen Badteppich oder Wandhaken, um etwas aufzuhängen. Die Doppelbetten waren OK, aber nur maximal 160cm breit. Ein Schlafraum hatte keinen Schrank und leider gab es kein Wohnzimmer. Alles andere war OK und in Sintra hat es uns supergut gefallen.
