There were no working batteries in the air conditioning or TV remotes, there was no laundry detergent and no easy way to make coffee, and we had to purchase toilet paper which we also used as napkins and paper towels. The trash disposal was a little confusing. Otherwise the location was good and it was charming despite it's somewhat temperamental water temperature in the shower. Which we eventually figured out. The skylights were really cool.

Overall this is a good place to stay. It is in a less touristy area of Venice which was nice but close walking distance to everything. Lots of restaurant options just outside the door.Transportation options are very convenient meaning less dragging of luggage.Walkable from train station if you have packed light. You do need to maneuver a couple of bridges. Also the water taxi and boat transfer to the airport are on the same canal so very convenient.Amenities within the unit are nice. Didn't include any extras like coffee/tea, papertowels in the kitchen etc. The floors could have been a bit cleaner. The courtyard/patio area we didnt use much, just wasn't very inviting, but it was nice to open the doors for some fresh air. We had pleasant stay and the host was easily accessible.

We had a wonderful stay in Venice. The location was excellent, close to everything we wanted to see while still feeling comfortable and convenient. The property was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described. Communication was easy, and everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Venice.

The place is well described. Due to a Nor’Easter changing our travel plans, we could only stay 1 of the 3 nights we paid for. Though we couldn’t have expected it, it would have been nice for Thomas to have tried to re-rent for those nights. Instead, when we still hadn’t headed to the airport he messaged to ask how things in the apartment were. That felt impersonal. The most important problem was that 2 of the screens were torn and there were a half dozen mosquitos in the apartment that we couldn’t reach to kill (very high ceilings). The room was hot overnight because we didn’t want to let in any more mosquitos. And when drifting off to sleep, the high pitched whine of a mosquito would wake me up. Though I was exhausted from our travels, I barely slept. My wife slept as I swatted away the one mosquito in our room. There were 5 or 6 we locked in the bathroom, which meant I didn’t use the bathroom all night. I informed Thomas the next day what the problem was, using the word “inhospitable”. He asked me which screens were broken and mentioned that there was bug spray in the apartment. No apology. No mention that he would make sure to fix it for the next guests. Venice is gorgeous. Despite lack of sleep, we enjoyed ourselves. But this started our trip off on the wrong foot

Great location

Great location with easy access to the water bus routes to take you throughout the city. In a great neighborhood with a local vibe and great restaurants just steps away. Quiet location right on the canal but tucked away from the hustle and bustle.

Great Location in a Quiet Neighborhood

Great Location in a Quiet Neighborhood. We loved how everywhere in Venice is in walking distance but this area seemed more like a quiet neighborhood than a tourist area.

Great spot when in Venice for a few days

We truly enjoyed our stay in the unit as it was well taken care of and the check-in process was hassle-free. The location was away from much of the hustle and bustle, so it certainly added to the charm! Water transport and anything you would really need was in close proximity.

Amazing home, perfect for couples!

This home was so nice to stay in during our time in Venice! It was very clean and very well decorated. You are just a short walk away from restaurants and shops. It was so nice being right by the water and made our stay in Venice feel even more authentic.
