Located inside the ancient Palazzo Molin, which belonged to the noble Molin family, this splendid apartment will give you the thrill of staying in the heart of Venice. The wonder of this property comes from its large sliding glass window facing the canal of Venice accessible only to gondolas and small boats.
From the train station, you can easily reach it walking for about 10 minutes and from the airport by public transportation. The apartment has just been renovated: when you enter it you will be immediately greeted by a spacious and bright environment. Your attention will immediately be captured by the beautiful French window in the living room that directly overlooks the canal, from which you can watch the slow and silent passage of some gondola with its dreamy tourists on board: you will immediately wish you were one of them!
The sleeping area is cleverly divided by a bookcase that creates, at the end of the room, the environment of rest and quiet. Near the windows, which face the canal, it is a perfect spot for reading and meditating: Venice is not only to be experienced, it is also to be enjoyed and reimagined, immersed in a book describing its wonders. Although the desire will be to spend most of your stay in this wonderful place of rest and relaxation, do not forget that you are in the most beautiful city in the world!
Go out to its discovery, visit the many churches, the precious palaces, penetrate along the calli and campielli and in a few minutes you will reach the Rialto Bridge, its ancient fish market, and then continue to St. Mark's Square, the heart of the city!
Guests will have access to the whole apartment.

We loved this little apartment that had a view of the canal. It was quiet and conveniently located to whatever we needed without being too close to the hustle and bustle of the touristy area. Would love to come back and stay longer!
First and foremost, horrible directions, extremely difficult to get to! Even the local porter we hired that are familiar with the area had a difficult time finding the unit! It was advertised as “renovated”, but you need to know you’re walking into a very dirty, disgusting old building, dust and mold, paint falling off the walls on the hallways, just not what we expected. We stayed two nights out of the 4 we had booked, couldn’t take it any longer! One of the windows broke during our stay, costing us to see the San Marco Cathedral we had tickets for, waiting for the window to be fixed as it was totally unsafe!!! The property amenities listed washer and dryer but there was no dryer! As for communication with the host, between the language barrier and the poor reception in the entire apartment, in my opinion it is simply the worst VRBO experience we’ve ever had! BTW, the host refused to refund us anything!!!

We are sorry that your stay did not meet your expectations. However, we would like to clarify a few points. All the services included in the booking were provided, and the apartment fully matches the description, features and photographs published on the booking platform.
As for the window, it became unbalanced after you opened it. We promptly arranged for a technician to repair it and did not charge you any costs for the repair. A representative from the agency was available to supervise the repair, although you chose to remain present during the work. We would also like to point out that the apartment is located in an 18th-century Venetian historic building. As is common in properties of this era, the stone walls may naturally produce a little dust despite regular cleaning. These are typical features of historic buildings and cannot be compared to those of modern constructions. The decision to move to a hotel during your stay was entirely yours. The property is a self-catering holiday apartment rather than a hotel and therefore involves the normal day-to-day management expected in a private home. Nevertheless, the apartment remained at your complete disposal until your scheduled check-out date and, for this reason, there were no grounds for a refund, as the accommodation and services booked were provided as agreed. Finally, we would like to point out that the air conditioning system was left running after your departure, even though the apartment was no longer occupied.
Super easy to find, great starting point for exploring the Cannaregio neighborhood. Only a 2 min walk to the main "street" where all the shops and restaurants are!
As first time travelers to Italy, I was nervous about going to Venice as our first stop but this property was great - close walk from the train station & was very close to good restaurants/cafes. You can easily explore all the major spots by foot. Being on the canal was amazing as well!
Great apartment with all necessary amenities. Located just off the beaten path away from all of the crowds so it was quiet at night. Got to see areas of Venice that we probably would have missed otherwise. Would stay there again.

Liked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
Disliked: Check-in
I really loved the location of this Vrbo. It’s located in a quieter neighborhood and surrounded by delicious restaurants. However, the check-in process is so over complicated that it will leave you sitting outside for at least an hour. You are asked to provide an arrival time but with train and water bus delays, that is a nearly impossible task.
Our first time to Venice was made complete by our lovely stay at Ca’Molin. Beautifully clean apartment with updated furnishings and a dishwasher and washing machine. Loved watching the gondolas go by (and wiggle their way under the nearby bridge!). Amazing stay. I’d love to stay here again.
Apartment very well located and well equipped. Attention, not suitable for young children (window door directly overlooking a canal without guard). Lack of explanations for the precise address (difficult to find without the GPS coordinates that were given to us when we were already on the wrong route) and the content of equipment and basic stock available.Very comfortable bedding, spacious apartment.
My 19 year old son and I spent one night in Venice. Communication with management was great. Instructions on how to find the property were flawless. Property was clean, ac worked great. Wifi was patchy but okay. So nice to have a washer and dishwasher in the unit. Spacious and well appointed. Restaurants nearby and we walked everywhere. We would recommend and stay again. Thank you!!

Thank you very much, dear Amy, we are delighted that you liked our apartment, and we hope to see you again.
I absolutely loved this apartment. It’s an excellent and quiet location that is very near to many restaurants and cafe’s that are not over crowded with tourists. This was completely perfect for us. The apartment is on the canal and there are large windows you can open and see gondolas/boats go by. This was a huge and fun perk for us. If you look down the canal in which the apartment is situated on you can see the grand canal. The grand canal is far enough that the apartment is not loud and the canal the apartment is on is frequented only occassionally. It’s fun to see but does not feel busy. We loved this apartment and would stay here again if we come to Venice in the future. Highly recommend.
The host is lovely and shares a lot of information with their guests - restaurant suggestions and info for finding and entering building.
Thank you!
Excellent location for a ground level apartment that had what we needed. Elise was friendly and went out of her way to walk us in, when we were tired from the last leg of the walk from the Vaperetto stop. The additional 35 Euros for a 18:30 check-in seemed at bit much, but it wasn't her making the policy., we understand. There was also a "city tax" charge of 40 E that wasn't in the on- line list of fees as far as we know. We appreciated being able to wash a few travel clothes in the washer and having a drying rack. It was near a gondola pick up location, so gondolas actually did go by the french doors in the kitchen. It was fun to smile and wave. Overall the apartment had the necessities. In order to be a 5 star for us lightbulbs need to be replaced, the couch needs a new, better fitting slip cover, and the moisture issue in the bathroom needs attention.
The location was great and apartment was roomy for two and beautiful. We had a difficult time finding it when we first arrived, so it would’ve been nice to have some more instruction on how to find the place.
Terrific quiet crowd-less spot and area relative to the rest of the city. Everything needed is an easy walk. Learning how to do the trash is a bit of a challenge but fun since we met fun people doing it. We’d go again in a minute. And we feel we know some gondoliers on site!
The property was beautiful! Right on a little canal. Gondolas cruise by all day. Elisa, our greeter, was wonderful. She had many recommendations for dinner, gelato, grocery stores, appertifs and sights to visit. She also had a detailed map and highlighted all of the above. The location was wonderful, just steps from the Grand Canal and close to the main drag. We highly recommend this property and will stay here again when we come back to Venice!
Enzo was very friendly and helpful. She provided us with a map of the island when we checked in and told us where we could find different things on the island. Our only problem was when a fuse blew and we didn't know where the main breaker box was.
