Town: Salcombe is a popular destination for watersports enthusiasts, walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea. There are several pretty beaches within a short distance, including North Sands and South Sands, plus the coves East Portlemouth on the opposite side of the estuary, just a short passenger ferry ride away. Also on your doorstep is the National Trust property Overbeck’s where you can wander through the subtropical gardens. Why not have a more adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing, coasteering, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip? Whilst staying in Salcombe, take advantage of the locally sourced seafood which is served in many of the restaurants, pubs, cafés and delicatessens. The property was good, beautiful area.
Steps to property more than steep need to be very fit. Also no parking in the town so you also need to leave the car at home when going down to shops and restaurants as parking scarce and when we visited park in June park and ride not working.
VRBO - Disappointed with your company as you have gone from only dealing with personal owners with Owners Direct and Home and Away, to not advertising you are dealing with another company. We could have booked our cottage £80 cheaper with Sykes Holidays, who did all the work and all you did was pass on our details. Won't be caught by you again!

Approximately 60 steps to the property entrance from the parking area through scenic gardens (or 20 steps down from rear gate). Gas fired central heating and hot water. Two well behaved dogs permitted. EV charger (7kW): an additional charge will apply payable directly to the owner; details will be provided prior to your holiday.
