About this property

Classic Lakefront Home on Spider Lake, Sleeps 6

Lake house on a beautiful all-sports lake. Spider Lake is a 450 acre, 38' deep, spring-fed lake in Grand Traverse County. House sleeps 6; two bedrooms and pull out sofa. Only a short drive to Traverse City, Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, professional baseball at the home of the Traverse City Pit Spitters and many other attractions. Chairs are available by the lake to relax or to watch the kids swim in the sandy, shallow, shared swimming area. A large dock with benches is a nice place to enjoy your morning coffee and watch the lake wake up as the sun rises over the trees on the opposite shore. If you love to fish, the lake has bass, bluegill, sunfish, crappie, perch, northern pike, and a few cagey old muskie. Fall colors in the foliage are vivid in early to mid-October. The Grand Traverse area is popular for hunting, snow-mobiles and cross-country as well as down-hill skiing during the Fall and Winter months.
The house is one level with approximately 25 steps leading down to the lake. A wood deck is accessed from the living room for a spectacular view high above the lake.
