The 'Cafe on the Beach' is a wonderful beach house available for holiday letting. This luxuriously appointed beach house is the perfect getaway for families or couples, with secure private courtyards around the house, as well as a fully secure upstairs wrap around verandah with spectacular views over Jervis Bay. Two large separate living areas with quality furnishings, each boasting large comfy sofas, solid timber dining tables each seating a maximum of 10 guests, TV, DVD, CD, Nespresso machine, air-conditioning and timber floors throughout. The private courtyard off the downstairs kitchen, complete with sails, is the perfect setting for those long languid lunches and that favourite glass of wine.
The house is the perfect holiday destination for your pets too - they will love the beach and the secure yard.

Family get away

Once again our family got to stay at this fantastic location. The weather was kind for most of the time so we got to spend lots of time at the beautiful beach which is just across the road from the house. All the family agree that it is a great place to stay!

Cafe on the Beach Callala

Our family stayed at this property over the Christmas period and we are so glad we did. The house is amazing with a huge private yard and plenty of space. There are effectively two living areas - one upstairs (including a wrap-around balcony) and one downstairs (with a BBQ courtyard). Upstairs and downstairs has air-conditioning, if needed. Although you get the sea breezes and can clearly hear the surf from the house. The property is excellently presented and is well fitted out with everything you could really need. The house is situated directly across from a beach access path, meaning you are literally less than 30m from the beach. We can't wait to stay again!

My family has been staying in this property for a number of years now, it really suits our needs and requirements. We love the location and the yard is fantastic for our grandchildren and pets. We have rebooked this property and we are all looking forward to our next get away.

DISAPPOINTED IN CLEANLINESS AND QUALITY OF PROPERTY - GOOD LOCATION

HOUSE WAS NOT CLEANED ON ARRIVAL AND THEN ONLY A VERY QUICK SERVICE CLEAN BY CLEANERS WHO ARRIVED AT 4PM. NO COMMUNICATION BY THE OWNER THAT THIS WAS HAPPENING. DISHWASHER WAS BROKEN AND WERE NOT NOTIFIED. REPAIRMAN ARRIVED UNANNOUNCED BUT COULD NOT REPAIR IT. OVERALL THE HOUSE WAS IN NEED OF A LOT OF ATTENTION AND CLEANING.MILDEW OVER ALL THE OUTSIDE SAILS ETC. WINDOWS WERE VERY DIRTY. AIR CONDITIONING UNIT TOO NOISY TO USE IN NEED OF A SERVICE. HOSE FITTINGS BROKEN. THIS PROPERTY WAS NOT AS IT IS DESCRIBED ON THE WEBSITE AND I WOULD LIKE TO DISCUSS SOME SORT OF REFUND.

Amazing family holiday

Every year we come to Jervis Bay with another family for a visit! This house was amazing and fitted all the needs of our two families. There is lots of space, everything you could need in the kitchen, comfy beds, board games, DVDs, books & bikes etc. to use in the shed. Thanks for having us we shall be back!!

Amazing home away from home

Thank you George and Melissa for allowing us to experience a much needed getaway. We’ve been cooped up at home during this pandemic and we just needed to getaway even though it was to another home. With having four children (ages between 3 months and 4 years old) we were ready to clean the house with the antibacterial wipes and Glen20 as we’re very paranoid about the virus. As soon as I started to clean I noticed that my wipes were still white! The cleaners have done an immaculate job in abiding by their Covid safety plan and the house was very clean. I was very comfortable to allow the kids to run free throughout the house. The whole time we were at Callala Beach the weather was cold and raining so we stayed inside most of the time but that didn’t bother us. It was just good to be away and enjoy the house. The view of the beach can be seen from the second level and it was just spectacular to be able to have meals overlooking the water. When the sun did show itself we were able to have a walk on the beach which was just across the road. I stayed here 9 years ago and the house is as what I remember it.

Great Location

The house had everything you could wish for. Extremely spacious, great utensils, great lighting, great surround system and great surroundings. Morning and night beach walk is a must. It's absolutely beautiful. Friendly neighborhood. George was very helpful although we had a bit of confusion with the email in the beginning which was rectified eventually. Will definitely come back again. :)

We enjoyed our stay and are regulars at Café on the Beach. However, this year we noticed a few maintenance issues. The outdoor furniture, was in disrepair, particularly the chairs where the seat was gone all together. There were a few outdoor lights not working as well. But overall its a wonderful place and would recommend.

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely property. Very well setup just across a quite road from a incurable beach on Jervis Bay. Property advertised internet but this turned out to be slow and not usable. Also the games room/garage left much to be desired as the equipment was in a poor state to use. We suggest adding clothing hooks to bathrooms and mirrors to bedrooms.

Prime location - great house

We had a fabulous stay over the Easter week - the house was comfortable,kitchen well equipped and plenty of room for everyone (6 adults, a toddler and two bubs) - location was perfect, straight across the road to a beautiful beach. We had a few minor hiccups on arrival however George could not have been more accommodating. Would definitely book again.
