Remote cabin, which was just what we wanted. The place was nice & clean and the beds very cozy. The bathhouse was just outside our cabin and was also spotless and well-kept. We used the shared cookhouse and there was everything there that we needed. It was easy to figure out where to store our things since the hosts have everything well-labelled.
We loved watching the dark night sky from the roomy deck. The Persied meteor shower was at its height during our stay and we had front-row seats.
I used the wood-fired sauna each night we were there. It was FABULOUS! The hosts keep a well-stocked wood storage area just for it and it was easy to get the fire going. There is also an outdoor shower just behind the sauna, which was great to cool off in between sauna sessions.
