This one bedroom apt.- sleeps up to 4 ( 2 adults, 2 children) Bedroom has a queen size bed. The living room has sleeping for 2 more on 2 single sleeper pullout chair & halfs (more suitable for children/teens - a bit smaller than a single mattress) Apt. has a full kitchen, as well as back deck w/ bbq grill, and table with 4 chairs for outside dining for apartment use only. There is a full bath with washer and dryer. We have a few beach chairs for use along with some beach toys and a stroller for carting stuff to the beach. It is an easy walk to the beach (6/10 mile exactly) If you have a lot of gear, someone could drop off the family and then walk down to meet up at the beach. *** See below about new beach parking info for non-residents if you choose to park at the beach. The yard is fully fenced. The location is great for walks along the back shore on Atlantic Road. It is an easy walk to several restaurants and less than a mile to Gloucester Stage Company for live theater and just about a mile to Rocky Neck Art Colony with several dining choices available. Many more choices in downtown Gloucester on Main and Rogers Streets and more within 1.5 miles. There is a local fish market just down the hill from the house where you can buy fresh caught fish and lobster to bring back and enjoy on the back deck.
There is a washer and dryer in the apt. and a Smart TV , no cable but Wifi and Netflix is available. Also 12,000 BTU window unit A/C for Living , kitchen area, and another smaller one for bedroom.
*** Non-Resident Online Beach Parking Reservation System as of May 2023 Our beaches fill up very quickly in the summertime as Gloucester is a world-renowned vacation destination and a popular day-trip spot. The City will be utilizing Blinkay, a beach parking reservation system, for non-resident beachgoers. Reservations can be made up 10 days in advance on the Blinkay mobile app or Blinkay website. Reservations are required for non-resident parking at Good Harbor Beach, Wingaersheek Beach, and Stage Fort Park starting Memorial Day Weekend. Reservations are non-refundable, and cash will no longer be accepted at the gate for parking. Reservations are required starting Saturday, May 27, 2023.

Great property to stay at that was pet friendly. Location is close to stores, restaurants, and a quick drive to the beach. Got to take the train into Salem and Boston on our stay here.
I absolutely love this rental! I have stayed here two times and plan to return when in the area. I feel safe, comfortable and relaxed when I stay here. It is clean and neat every time.
Carol was a fantastic host, and the apartment was lovely. It was one of the best equipped places we’ve ever stayed. Very private, and great access to town and beach.
The apartment was clean and the yard was nice size for my Pugs to play. Walking distance to the pier and food. Kitchen had all necessary items to make meals there and grocery stores near by. Definitely would stay again
Property was in a good location, walking distance to the beach. There is off-street parking and I appreciated the beach supplies (chairs, etc) provided. Host communicated all details and it was an easy stay.

This place is lovely. We stayed w our two kiddos under 6, pull-out bedding was just right for kids. Place was comfortable, spacious, clean, and a perfect walk/drop-off distance to our favorite beach! Wonderful week spent here w a family of four!

The central location encouraged us to explore all of Cape Ann. The apartment was comfortable, offered access to a beautiful outdoor space, and had good parking. We enjoyed our stay very much.
We had a great stay, was there for a week. Place was clean, perfect for our family of 4. Gloucester was close to Salem and Boston. Hostess was very attentive and quick to respond.
Clean, comfortable bed, fully equipped kitchen, close to Gloucester harbor and restaurants. The owners were friendly and accommodating.

We grew up in NY state and visited this area after my sister and her husband moved here, we loved the beautiful scenery of the area and decided to move here to be near family.
Why they chose this property
We chose this property because of the location. It is only 1/2 mile to Good Harbor Beach, we can go out the door and have a beautiful walk/jog, bike ride, fish,swim, etc. without having to get in the car. Convenient to downtown.
