I had a hard time choosing between 4 & 5, so probably more like a 4.5. We enjoyed the house and had a wonderful stay. The house is 100yrs old and you can feel the love and history, which was very cool! I especially appreciated the original features of the house, including family photos and memorabilia. We had fun looking through the old journals and piecing together the families on the wall. The drawers and closets should have anything you may need like a wagon for toting groceries, lunch box, small appliances(yes coffee!), and extra blankets. Lots of games and books, my boys loved the poker chips! Not a big deal to many, but the living area is a bit dark; we would have moved a lamp if we could find one. We played games in there, and it was hard to see. We did have to purchase trash bags, paper towels, and toilet paper on day 2 of our 4 night stay. We bought a case of each, so hopefully it helped out the next group. There is a room with bunks that isn't featured in pictures and it was perfect for the "boys"! Its the last in the hall too so kept the noise away from the main bedrooms. Location was perfect!!! We walked everywhere and if we needed a circuit ride, it picked up right at the top of the street. We also made a quick potty stop when we rented a golf cart since it was right off the path. Vons, golf course, museum, etc is all within a 3- 5 min walk. Thank you for having us, and please thank the owners for sharing their home in such an authentic way!!
