Welcome to Hamilton Cove Villa 1-75


You will definitely be charmed by its soothing ambience and spoiled by its numerous amenities. This well-appointed villa is nicely decorated with vaulted ceilings in every room and features a full ocean view from the living room, both bedrooms, and the balcony.

French doors open to the balcony from both bedrooms and the living room. Featuring hard floors throughout the villa and a TV in each bedroom, plus a 50-inch flat panel TV with surround sound in the living room, but you'll probably just want to sit out on the balcony and enjoy the incredible ocean and cove views.

The golf cart is a four-passenger- limo style, only 13 steps to the front door, and a total of 1067 SF.

HAMILTON COVE COMMUNITY

Hamilton Cove is a gated community, with its own security staff with at least one guard on duty at all times. Transportation within Hamilton Cove and from Hamilton Cove to Avalon is accomplished by golf cart.

Hamilton Cove community amenities, include swimming pool, spa and a gym with separate men and women locker rooms, each with its own sauna, For additional entertainment and exercise there is a croquet course, an eighteen hole putting course and two lighted tennis courts.

Hamilton Cove has three distinct beach areas stretching approximately 1500 feet. The beach areas are set up for BBQ, volleyball and other appropriate beach activities. In addition, the area immediately offshore is a kelp garden teeming with fish. This area can be enjoyed either by snorkeling or scuba diving. Many a lobster is caught just off shore during lobster season.

In addition to Hamilton Cove amenities, you will be delighted with the property’s close proximity to Descanso Beach Club, and Avalon’s finest shops, dining and nightlife, and not to mention numerous attractions the island has to offer.

Management was great to work with. The unit is very nice and clean, but you definitely can tell it’s a rental. The unit is not in town, but more nestled outside the main area so if you’re looking for a quiet area with beautiful view, this is a good spot. No AC was challenging but the management company was easy to communicate with to help provide an arrangement.

Great Condo

Was clean and really nice. View is amazing. Golf cart that came with was the nicest one we saw on the island. Would definitely stay here again.

The stay was wonderful. The view is spectacular and property is wonderful, but a couple of things, there was no Kleenex and no toilet paper. I would have been nice to have some beach towels. The Masterbedroom door to the patio is varnished shut. Neither of the front doors bolted. The golf cart was super convenient. The steps in the bedrooms and the step into the living room need to be marked by tape of something. Very dangerous especially at night but all in all would stay there again and really really appreciate that there was not a huge cleanup list like some VRBO only take out trash and load dishwasher. Once again we had the most wonderful time and would stay at 1-75 again absolutely!

Beautiful property. Clean, except for the ants , but there was ant spray in the cabinet. Well stocked. Great location. Quiet. Beds were "comfortable" Clearly were older mattresses, as the king had divots where it was worn. But overall not bad. Golf cart. It was great to have our own golf cart, however the tank was not full, only about 9/10 full, and it was pretty old and a little dirty. But it was good to have it.overall give the place a 7 to 8. For what we paid, expected golf cart and beds to be nicer. An extra blanket to have while watching tv would have been nice. Oh and no local chanels on tv so we couldn't watch any football on christmas

Property is OK

Important to note that this property is up in the hills almost two miles from Downtown so you will need to take a taxi to get there about 30 with tip each way. VRBO has it listed in the middle of Downtown which is why I chose this property. The host didn't seem concerned when I told them. I've also contacted VRBO regarding the incorrect map placement and distance to attractions. That being said, it's a beautiful gated community with outstanding views. It also has a great little beach to swim at. The property comes with a golf cart that you can travel around the island with. The only problem is the golf cart consistently stalls out, which is awful when you're backing up into traffic or at a stop sign with several people behind you. The walls are extremely thin so you can hear kids running upstairs and neighbors coughing next door. The living room furniture was crusty and stained, we ended up putting sheets over them to sit on them. The silverware was dirty, the Keurig coffee machine didn't work. The tables on the balcony are very tippy, and the window in the master bedroom had to be pushed closed from the outside because the crank didn't work. Lots of little things that could've improved this property. There was no property map or instructions on things like using the fireplace. There was a sign inside that had contradictory info to what the host has listed - such as check out time which is 10am (too early) but the sign in the house says 11am.

The house itself was very nice, but we were disappointed with the condition of the furniture. The sofa, in particular, was extremely dirty and no one sat there. The bed linens were also not clean — there was hair on the sheets when we arrived. We were unsure who to contact to report these issues. I have photos documenting the condition. You should replace or clean your sofa-how can you give this kind of furnishing after fixing the house.

Lovely place

This place is amazing. It is beautiful inside. The view is amazing. Check in process was so easy. Easy to communicate with rental company. Beds are comfortable. Kitchen is gorgeous and well stocked with cooking items. The golf cart is new and has Bluetooth capability. My daughters and I had the best time and really enjoyed staying at this property. Cant wait to go back.
