One step down, one step up. That’s all the steps needed to reach a one bedroom, one bathroom villa with fantastic views of the sea from the minute you step in the door. Perfect for 2 to 4 people. King size bed in bedroom and deluxe inflatable queen sofa bed in the living room. Other features include a remodeled kitchen with granite counter tops, newer electric stove microwave, tile floors throughout, balcony with 4 bar height chairs, flat screen TVs in living room and bedroom, Blu-Ray DVD player, WiFi service, electric fireplace for atmosphere and also has a setting to provide heat for the condo. In addition, a 2016 4 passenger golf cart with canvas sides is provided for getting in to town and around the island. 803 sq ft. H177 | | | Rental of a vacation home in Hamilton Cove includes use of the community’s amenities (security gate guard, pool, spa, health club, putting course, tennis courts, croquet court, sand volleyball court and beach area). Some restrictions may apply. Occupants subject to Hamilton Cove Homeowners Association Rules & Regulations. | | This vacation home rents on a nightly basis (2 night minimum, holidays and selected dates excepted: 3 night minimum July & August).

AMAZING

We had such a wonderful stay! The place was absolutely spotless and well-maintained. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, always friendly and attentive. The property itself is stunning, with a beautiful atmosphere and an incredible view that made our trip extra special. I would highly recommend staying here and can’t wait to come back!

We are from The OC and wanted a little getaway and mini vaca! We came across this listing in VRBO and instantly felt like it was the perfect fit for us and our two kids! The Private community makes you feel safe! The check in process was easy the place was amazing the the view is absolutely breathtakingly beautiful! We would highly recommend this location!

Catalina getaway

Outstanding location, views beyond description. Golf cart a huge asset. Generally clean, but glasses were dirty, furniture not very comfortable, toilet seat needs replacement. More info regarding the area relative to various villa amenities and village such as gas station would be helpful. Excellent communication with property management.

Please lower the bed!

There were many things we loved about this vacation rental. The views were phenomenal, the condo beautiful and the golf cart was a huge plus for exploring the island. The road to get to the condos was also gorgeous scenery. Those are the positives. Biggest negative was the bed. It was comfortable but incredibly high. I am a tall woman, but I had to use the narrow 2-tier step provided to climb up to the bed. The headboard was loose- so no help there to hold on for climbing up. The narrow stairs slipped on the tile floor- almost fell several times. Kind of ruined my stay. The other reason for a 4-star review is the floors. Incredible dirt on them- they need a scrubber with a machine. I was tempted to get down on my hands and knees but am 72 and there were no cleaning materials at hand. Would I come again? You bet...IF the bed was lowered and the floors cleaned.

Almost Perfect

This place worked for us overall and the views are as stunning as they appear in the pics. Unfortunately, we found the king size bed to be extremely uncomfortable. After lying down, the head of the bed sinks so you become unlevel in the bed. There are plenty of pillows so we tried propping up but still sank. We rotated our heads to the foot of the bed, which is firmer, but still did not sleep good. The place was clean enough, but if the floors could get a good steam cleaning it will make a big difference. The couches could use a good cleaning as well. If you're not willing to send pictures of your ID and credit card over text message to the property management company, you have to go in person to the office to check in. If you need info about things to do on the island, grab it while checking in because there is no info about anything at the rental, except how to use the bedroom TV. The trek from town to the villa is not walkable for the average person and we did not see anyone walk it, but we did see some bikers going back and forth. The rental comes with the use of a golf cart, which proved to be a key part of our stay. It allowed us to easily do whatever we wanted for day without taxi fares. FYI, cruise ships come in during the week. We didn't know and it changed up our 'during the week' vacation quite a bit. We would stay in this rental again if they get a new bed. Catalina is lovely.

Paradise!

If you are looking for a relaxing/calming/amazing experience, this is the place! The location, condition, privacy, accessibility, and most importantly, THE VIEW!!! This place is the perfect place to unwind and reconnect - the golf cart is a nice perk to explore at your own pace. This place has the bar high for many more upcoming Catalina adventures.

Stunning!

This property is exactly as it looks in the pictures. It is clean and well-furnished. The kitchen had all the equipment and dishes we needed and we enjoyed a few meals there instead going to a restaurant. We loved exploring the "downtown" area and then returning, in our golf cart, to a quiet place with beautiful scenery. There are lots of condos in this development, and we never heard anyone else. We used the tennis court, walked everyday, and then did a touristy excursion in "town." Perfect for our anniversary trip!

The view

Such a gorgeous view! The unit was just like it was in the pictures! Hanging out on the deck was very peaceful. So glad we got to have our own golfcart and drive straight up to our room with no stairs! Catalina is the perfect getaway..

Spectacular Views

Hamilton Cove is amazing! This property is a short golf cart ride away from the busy town. Our stay was absolutely perfect. The deck was our favorite. This property is quiet and well kept. The decor is cute with many unique touches. It was a pleasure to do business with Catalina Island Vacation Rentals. We are already planning our next trip back!

September 2017 Stay

We loved our stay in Hamilton Cove. We are glad our unit was far away from the construction of the new units which had jack hammers going all day from 9:00 am until 5:30 pm. Good thing we were out and about. The Mgmt. Company's communication system is excellent so we didn't need to bother them with any issues or questions.

A Great Jazz Vacation experience

Beautiful view! Everything you need was there... only one complaint... it’s time to update the living room furniture. Pillows are somewhat worn out and sofa not that comfortable... We really enjoyed our stay!
