The equipped kitchen is contemporary, bright and clean. The modern bathroom features a large shower, perfect for two! There is even a tranquil reading nook. The large bedroom has a romantic boho feel and features a queen bed, love seat, fireplace, tv, stereo speakers, and even a tickle trunk! Gym access is available. Cannabis friendly.

The property was excellent and exceeded our expectations. Very well located in a lovely neighbourhood with easy access to public transportation and grocery stores, bakeries, coffee shops. The kitchen is very well equipped which made it easy to have meals in. The hosts are excellent communicators and very friendly. Highly recommended and looking forward to a repeat visit.

My wife and I had an excellent stay at the Shala suite. The location was extremely convenient to hiking trails and main North Vancouver attractions. We met the hosts, Gregory and Kandace, and they were very welcoming and nice. The suite was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay (a private bathroom, a kitchen, and even an exercise room although we didn't use). We will definitely reach out and stay at the Shala suite when we visit North Vancouver again. Thanks for having us!

room was eclectic as described, rest of the guest space looked recently renovated to a modern standard. small issue with the lock misbehaving but the host corrected it. Everything was very clean and check out requests were very reasonable

Amazing Times

We had a wonderful adventure, our stay was short so only so many hours in a day. Gregory was amazing, they are fun creative humans and location is perfect if you want to venture out into the wonderful world of the BC wilderness and escape the urban city.

Ideal!

Perfect for those that seek a quality, sensory-friendly, nourishing stay. The lighting was adjustable and relaxing, the temperature option with the fire place was so cozy, the bathroom and all the little details were thoughtful and exquisite. The door lock system and parking were easy. The linens weren’t washed with artificial fragrance —thank you! The hosts were so welcoming, informative, communicative, and helpful. I could go on! I will be back.

The property and host were excellent. However, our experience with VRBO's customer service was extremely frustrating—their communication was poor and unhelpful. Thankfully, the host was very accommodating and supported us throughout the process. Despite the issues with VRBO, I am still giving the property a 5-star rating because of the host’s efforts and the quality of the stay. Will be giving VRBO a wide berth in the future.

We were greeted by the hosts upon arrival and shown around. Dream Shala was beyond our expectations. It was spotless and uncluttered. The atmosphere was relaxing and reminded me of my hippie days. The colors within Dream Shala were vibrant and beautiful. The furniture and the bed were comfortable. We both slept the best at Dream Shala during our whole trip. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, utensils, pots and pans. Our hosts thoughtfully made ice for us, supplied coffee, tea and homemade kambucha. There was an exercise room inside, and a putting green outside. The home and luscious landscape was lovely with gnomes, mushrooms and birdhouses. It is located on a quiet residential street with plenty of parking. Public transportation is easily accessible. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer and read those interesting books. This is the perfect place to chill or to use as home base to explore. Restaurants, grocery and other shopping are nearby.

We loved our time at Dream Shala!Gregory was an excellent host and very responsive when we had questions. We had no problem accessing public transit and there was a small shopping center within walking distance. The nature trails close by were an extra bonus!If we are ever back in Vancouver, we will definitely stay again.

It was our first time using "Vrbo", and with regards to time which is almost summer and also being very close to FIFA World Cup, it was very affordable, & the host &the hostess, Gregory and Candice were very kind,friendly & helpful. My wife& I give them a 10/10 star rating. Just the coffee maker wasn't working which I'm sure Gregory will fix it right away. It wasn't a big issue. There was a Tassimo coffee maker present. Over all, it was a great experience. We had rented the place for two days, but sadly because of some personal health issues we had to leave one day early but as I mentioned, it was excellent.
