Two families stayed at Kookabana and had a great time. The property was very clean and as described in the write-up. Air conditioners in the main living areas kept us warm on a couple of cold wet days and open the doors to the verandah was great when the sun came out. We especially enjoyed being able to have the kids downstairs hanging out together while the adults spent time together upstairs. There are a good number of stairs and steep places at this property, so keep that in mind if you have movement difficulties. Coming from western NSW we enjoyed being on the lake and amongst the trees. It was midwinter so we did minimal kayaking but appreciated that they were available. We caught fish from right in front of the property and from the boat ramp. A couple of trips to Sandbar Beach were fun excursions and made us wish we had a 4WD and a beach permit. We would definitely return to Kookabana.

The price was great! we were very happy when we got there. Loved that the kayaks were available to use. we went kayaking and fishing and even managed to catch a flathead! The views were stunning and the host was extremely helpful and very quick to reply when we needed a few replacement items. Highly recommend!! :) Thankyou.
