¡Bienvenido a Cocoa Suites! Este desarrollo recientemente convertido exuda calidad y hace que la estancia sea ideal en York; Ya sea una escapada de fin de semana o un hogar lejos de casa por negocios.

Perfect location.

The apartment was clean and well presented. Location is excellent, minutes by foot from the shambles and the city centre, also 5minute walk to a retail park with a Morrisons, B&M,Iceland and other stores on there. We totally enjoyed our stay there and would stay there again the next time we were to visit York again. Thank you Stays York.

A great location!

The apartment is well located to the main tourist sights and is very convenient with the included parking. The apartment is spacious and the bed was comfortable, enabling a good night’s rest. Unfortunately the towels were smelly and the washing machine gave our freshly washed clothes a bad smell.

A fantastic property, in a lovely central location. We loved being able to sit and relax watching the geese on the river outside the window, but we could be in the city in 5 minutes. Perfect!

Cocoa Suite Rowantree's Wharf Stay

Excellent and very relaxing visit with the accomodation first rate and good location. Stays York staff very helpful and all ammenities available. Recommended for any short stays in York for a chilled and stress free experience. We'll be back. A+ all round.

Great location

We stayed in the same apartment last year so everything was familiar. Unfortunately, even though we booked for 3, the folding bed was not ready or made so we did that ourselves - this was an issue last year too. One other comment, it was impossible to make the water cooler in the shower, it seemed even at its lowest setting it was too hot, especially for a child. Otherwise we enjoyed it.

Great accommodation

It was good to find the apartment was nice and warm when we arrived. The entry arrangements were a little complicated as mentioned in earlier reviews but good to know the place is secure. So easy to get in to York on foot from the apartment. Supermarkets conveniently close. If you intend to cook whilst here, I would suggest bringing salt, pepper and an oven glove. Personally, I would have thought an oven glove to be essential for safety but none was supplied. Otherwise it was an enjoyable and comfortable stay.

Peaceful location with views of the river

We were very happy with the apartment 26 Cocoa suites, the location was fantastic with just a short walk into the centre of York and all it has to offer. The parking was a huge bonus too. There is a Morrison's across the road for provisions, along with a B&M's, Home Bargains etc. The minor issues were a strange smell in the apartment when we arrived but this was remedied by using air freshner. The shower head although very large, had lack of pressure and the extractor fan in the bathroom wasn't strong enough to clear the steam. The bed sheet and duvet cover felt very damp for the first two nights we were there but we remedied this by putting them in the tumbler. It would have been nice to have a small hoover for a quick tidy up with crumbs etc. The full length windows are amazing but would benefit from cleaning. A small suggestion would be to cover the top row of the windows with a 'stick on' obscure film to cover the view of the droppings from the pigeons that occasionally sit on the pipes. Although we have commented on a few minor issues this apartment was one of the best we have stayed in whilst holidaying in York. We even considered buying one for ourselves! We will always stay here when returning to York and have highly recommended it to both family and friends. A truly lovely apartment, in a truly lovely building.

First class

Once we got through the crystal maze of retrieving keys and permits and parking the car, we had an a lovely few days staying in York in an awesome Apartment over looking the river Foss. Everything you would need is in the apartment, it was warm, very comfortable, and was within 5 minutes walking distance of this amazing city. There was plenty to see and visit and lots of different quirky shops, as well as some amazing restaurants. We will definitely be making a return trip.

Perfect place to stay in York

The location was not easy to find by car initially, even with GPS, but once we got there all our expectations were met. It’s a short walk to town, quiet and yet very conveniently located if you want to drive out somewhere. Plus it has supermarkets across the road. The facility is very nicely done, blending the traditions of the building with modern furnishings. Overall, it’s lovely to be staying in a piece of York history.

A beautiful apartment in a perfect location

We had a lively weekend visiting york and staying at 26 Cocoa Suites. The apartment was stylish and cosy will all the furnishings and items you could need. It was the perfect place to relax after a tiring day exploring the city. The river next to the window was a lovely treat, and the minster only a short walk away. The company were incredibly helpful in the lead up to our stay with special birthday requests and on the day with checking in. The arrival hamper was a beautiful extra treat. I would definitely recommend and hope to stay again.
