We had a a wonderful stay. The train goes by several times of the day and night in the backyard. If that works for you you will love this place.

Everything We Could Want

This house was perfect for us! The bedroom set up was great (though be warned one of the queen beds is really high - like 4.5 feet off the ground). There were some fun toys in the kids room that our kids enjoyed. The pool table is a huge win! So much fun! Clean easy to use kitchen and comfortable living room space. There are many bikes to choose from, including kid size bikes. We loved the bike ride to Benham Falls (bring bug spray). The SHARC was the kid’s favorite thing to do. We appreciated the passes that came with the house. VACASA was easy to work with and I loved that they texted me the house information for check-in. The info was also in email, but it was handy to have it as a text.

Great home

Very spacious and clean home. Hot tub and pool table were nice to have. Train tracks right out the back door but it really wasn't a bother. 15 min ride to SHARC and pickleball courts. Kind of far away from the village. Love biking. A decent assortment of bikes but prefer our own. Would stay again if the fees weren't outrageous. Not sure how i missed all the fees when booking. The fees seemed pretty steep, more than i have every had to pay and i did not expect that. Besides that, we had a fabulous vacation. It's was one of our favorites actually. Would definitely come to sun river again.

Pretty Great! But... Beware The Trains

This home has everything you need including central air conditioning. Beds are comfortable. The owners have a ton of fun toys and games available in the garage! We loved playing cornhole, and having a garage to store our bikes. The kitchen is just OK. Basic electric stove, and barely enough kitchen supplies (no whisk, really? no coffee filters?) Train tracks are right behind the house. I mean they are RIGHT THERE. When a train comes by during the day it's pretty neat to see! When a train comes through at 1AM or 4AM, right outside the master bedroom window... less amusing. If you have a baby or small kids that have trouble sleeping, maybe consider a different house.

A/c and hot tub don't work

I never leave reviews but I was honestly shocked that this house has high ratings. The air conditioner doesn't work. The fireplace radiates heat even when off, all the upstairs tvs wouldn't work. The internet signal was poor. Most of the "clean" dishes needed rewashing. The downstairs bathroom lock is broken, my kids got locked in twice. The back sliding door kept getting stuck. Only 1 usable pool cues. Living room chair has broken leg which reduced the already small amount of seating. Master bedroom bathroom shower leaks. Hit tub wouldn't go above 67 degrees. Telescope didn't work. We chose this home specially for the pool table, hot tub and air conditioning. All 3 were bad... And I couldn't get a response from Vacasa. We save up every year for one short family trip to sun river and this all put a huge damper on our time. Very sad.

Early Summer Getaway

We particularly enjoyed spending time on the deck. The weather was great and we thoroughly enjoyed the quiet time in the sunshine with our coffee smelling the pines and watching birds, squirrels and chipmunks. The home was clean, with the exception of carpets and rugs ... which should be cleaned or replaced. The hot tub was not working well. It was varying in temperature between 75 and 109 degrees. But, in our view, the biggest shortcoming was the beds. They were not comfortable.

Cozy home - lots of bikes!

My family had a great time at Sunriver and this home was very pleasant. It’s a quiet part of town, but not too far from popular places like the park and SHARC. The house is ~100ft from the railroad tracks and the trains go by VERY fast. Our kids thoroughly enjoyed every time a train went by, but if seeing/hearing them isn’t for you then you should probably look at other options. LOTS of bikes. Unfortunately the listing doesn’t have pictures of them, but there are some good adult bikes with gears, single speed cruisers and various sized kid bikes. Lots of extras in the garage - footballs, frisbees, corn hole, etc. In the house the billiards table was a hit with the kids. Lots of board games/puzzles and other toys. The few things I would suggest to the manager/owner would be to get a DVD player for the downstairs TV and in the kitchen there was no Saran Wrap for wrapping up leftovers, we never found a scrub brush or sponge for cleaning pots and pans in the sink and there were very few leftover containers. Minor things that we dealt with but overall a great home - especially with kids! One last thing - the home does not have a smart lock. There’s a key lock box next to the front door with a physical key. When Vacasa emailed the code it was a bunch of numbers, but it’s only a four digit lock box. A quick call to the Vacasa team in Sunriver resolved that and the super helpful guy on the phone found us the 4-digit code.

Nice property. Vacasa difficult to work with.

Property is as listed. Decent. No complaints. Pretty much exactly what was expected. Pool table was a nice touch. Must be 15 bikes in the garage. Unfortunately most are broken in one way or another. Vacasa was the only real frustration. Sharc facilities (featured prominently in the ad and presumably the reason this property was priced higher than others) were closed Tues and weds (the days we were here.) We requested a slightly later checkout (11am instead of 10am) but were told no exceptions would be made. Apparently, every one of the 40,000 properties they manage has to be cleaned for 6 hours starting immediately at 10am. Total BS. Anyways, we talked to multiple reps. All in north Carolina or Louisiana and all giving zero fox.. This is what happens when property management is done at a corporate level. We'll never rent a property managed by Vacasa again.

Great spot for a family vacation

This house has all the basics covered for a fun Sunriver vacation! There were tons of bikes and helmets in the garage, which was an unexpected bonus. The kitchen was equipped well enough for us to cook meals. The pool table was a fun distraction for the teens on our trip and the house was generally comfortable. Not the best mattress I've ever slept on and the house is on the edge of the resort, so expect to bike or drive to get to attractions. But overall, it was just as we expected and a very pleasant location.

Vacasa Home Stay

First time making a reservation with Vacasa; and will definitely be using them again in the future and will also recommend them to family and friends. booked reservation by phone; agent was polite, understanding and asked the right questions and took his time in making sure reservation was what I wanted. Home stay was relaxing; enjoyed every minute of it. Expectations was just what I had hoped for; clean, private and had all the amenities needed. Hope to make another reservation soon. Thank you Vacasa!

This vrbo was awesome. Was a great house to come back to after a couple days at Mt Bachelor! Fireplace was the common hangout as well as the hot tub! Would definitely recommend!

The best!

The home was clean and had all the dishes we needed. Ate takeout one evening from a Mexican restaurant in the Village. Bought books at amazing bookstore in Village. Hot tub on the back deck was hot and clean, and we could see the stars above. Pool table in the house was truly the nicest touch. Our ten-year-old played the whole time and got quite good. The train does come by, but it’s truly charming. A few commenters said the house needed repairs. We don’t know what they mean. The telescope wasn’t functioning, but beyond that, the home was not in need of anything. We have stayed in four Sun River homes, and they are all the same. Each has its own charm, and this one is no exception.

Amazing property!

we really enjoyed our time here. There was plenty to do inside the property and in the local vicinity. We used the hot tub and pool table quite a bit. I would say they probably should get a few of the pool sticks re-tipped as most were broken off. Outside of that, everything was perfect.

Perfect for 4 adults and 4 kids

The house had everything you need and expect but some terrific extras like the pool table, hot tub, air conditioning, telescope, and lots of bikes and helmets. Even the bird feeder off the deck was full when we arrived. That meant frequent visits from ground squirrels, tree squirrels, stellar jays, and other birds. Close to everything but during this COVID 19 summer especially appreciated how close we were to the smaller less populated north store.

Awesome place to stay.

This house was just as described and was bigger then it looked in the pictures. Queen beds were very comfortable and the fireplace heated the whole house nicely. Hot tub was hot and decently clean. Our only complaint was the pool table was pretty small and the pool cues were half the size of normal cues due to the room being so small, hard to shoot at most angles. Other then that I would not recommend this place because we want to stay here again and again. And if we give a good review it may night be available next time we want to stay here. Also right off the hwy and 50ft from the railroad tracks. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.
