Everything about this vacation home is practically perfect. Kitchen and furnishings are great. Both beds are comfortable. Kitchen is immaculate. Everything we needed was in it. The view from the balcony is the best we’ve ever had in Hawaii. If you have a choice between a five star hotel, and this condo, choose the condo. We will be back.

Great Stay

Great stay. Well stocked unit for cooking and beach supplies. Convenient parking. Responsive host. Smooth checkin and checkout process. Beautiful view from the balcony. No issues at all.

Gorgeous view - literally on the ocean!

Beautiful property, fall asleep to relaxing waves (no need for white sound app!). Salt water pool is fantastic. Everyone was very nice and complex felt very safe and inviting.

Great place, great location

Had a great time at this condo and it was a nice place. There is no place to sit down with the family for dinner but we made due!!! Nice pool area and BBQ's and the view is spectacular!!!

A place to completely unwind

The condo is wonderful with a fantastic view. We never wanted to leave to go anywhere, spending most of our time on the lani. The complex pool is also well-maintained and clean. We highly recommend this unit.

Beautiful ocean front condo in Paradise

Amazing 40th birthday vacation for my daughter. We really enjoyed the oceanfront lanai. Many views of dolphins, yellow tang fish, parasailors kayakers, sunrises & sunsets. Beautiful Condo and Views - Great Host

I traveled to Hawaii during COVID restrictions and we had some changes to our itinerary that popped up due to canceled flights (therefore lapsed tests) that was causing us some stress. Dawn could not have been more accommodating and understanding of the situation, and it truly made our stay much more enjoyable. The condo and the location are incredible - I'm already missing the morning ocean view. You won't regret staying here - it's absolutely lovely.

Best view on island

Beautiful view. Shaded deck. Extremely well stocked with anything u could want. Nice towels and sheets. Only issue we picked this unit for the view and two recliners When we arrived the two recliners had been replaced with two very uncomfortable rattan swivel rockers!! Pictures were not updated. Made for an uncomfortable stay. Couch was not comfortable either. Foot stole was wooden with no padding.

Beautiful mornings

I have not experienced so many beautiful mornings. Thought since we were on the west side of the island that we would not see any sunrise. We didn't, but we had a moonset, and double rainbow that kept getting closer and closer to our lanai. Breathtaking, just breathtaking.

Beautiful view

One of the best balcony views I've ever had. We spent many evenings watching the sun set over the ocean from the lanai. You go to sleep with the surf crashing in the background. Very short drive into Kona for supplies. No A/C, but even in August this didn't bother us much with the ocean breezes. Convenient parking spot right in front of the building. Note that it is a second-floor walk-up, could be an issue for anyone who has trouble with stairs. Highly recommended!

We won't be returning

Location and view are great, otherwise we were disappointed. Some of the photos are inaccurate and the "upgrades" are only marginal and not what was expected. The unit is small. it's advertized as a 2 bedroom, but is basically a studio with and extra room. The only place to eat is 2 barstools at the kitchen counter, other than the balcony outside. Maybe OK for some but uncomfortable and difficult for older adults.

Best ever location

True to pictures. When they talk about hearing the roar of the ocean they are not kidding! Even the second bedroom has a view of the ocean. The place was so clean. Want to hiring the cleaning crew for my house. The view was amazing! I wanted to just sit and enjoy! It was so quiet (strict quiet rules) compared to the big resort we came from. It was very relaxing. Had beach toys in the closet to use. Chairs, one umbrella, towels, ice chest. That was very nice. Could have used two umbrellas or one bigger one. There was ice in the freezer ready to use. Only complaint my friend had was there was no curtains on the big window looking out to the ocean so the sun came up and let a lot of light in. For me, I just enjoyed the view! Never used the TV or kitchen but kitchen looked well stocked with appliances. A few food items available. Very short drive into town. Could walk if have the time and energy. Highly recommend and will stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Great view and location

This is a great property. The location is 1 mile South of Kailua-Kona shopping and dinning. So far enough away to avoid the noise yet close enough to walk. There are also great snorkel locations within 4 miles or 15-20 min. drive. About same drive to small boat harbor if you are a diver. The view from the lanai is spectacular. We saw dolphins and whales almost everyday right in the bay. There is great airflow throughout the entire condo. No A/C and absolutely not necessary. The complex was fairly quiet and with the ocean crashing right at your feet it drowned out most noise from the condos around you (noise only from lanai below us was heard). The assigned parking is fantastic. Its right in front of the stairs up to the condo, couldn't be any better. As some have stated the condo is outdated but who cares with the large lanai and amazing view. The beds were comfortable even though the guest room one was rather squeaky. Response from the management company was great. There were not any beach chairs, they did provide bag camping chairs but we did not find those comfortable. We bought beach chairs and left them, it was cheaper than renting. We are returning next year so we will get good use out of them. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning next year.

Alii Villas Unit 232, Kona, HI

We had a great stay at this 2nd floor corner unit right on the water. Very clean unit with nice supplies for beach and cooking. Checkin process was a breeze and communication with the property manager was very good. Loved the more northern exposure which gave nice shade on the balcony until about 2, when the sun slowly made it's way to coving there entire deck by around 4. Fantastic place to see the sunset each day. We would definitely stay in this unit again. And if you are a walker, it's a mile to downtown Kona (20 minutes). A bonus!

OUR HAPPY PLACE

We came here last year for our Honeymoon, and were fortunate to find it available again this year for our Anniversary! We truly feel as if it is our second home, and have no desire to stay anywhere else. The Condo is very well-equipped, tastefully decorated and clean. The view off the Lanai is spectacular! We also enjoyed the pool and used the BBQ several times (which is great when grilling fish). Ali'i Villas is well maintained by the Property Manager, Dawn. Kailua Kona is a wonderful location, and we enjoyed many activities while there. Our favorite was snorkeling at Captain Cook's Monument in Kealakekua Bay, which we did last year, but this time we went with Fair Wind Tours on a Luxury Catamaran The best ever!!! We snorkeled at 2-step, which was pretty good, and Puako, which was a disappointment. Go early in the morning for the best experience. We visited the black sand beach on the way to Volcano National Park to see the green turtles, and returned to the Thurston Lava Tube (so cool!). We saw the Akaka Falls and Rainbow Falls near Hilo, which was very impressive. Jackie Rey's is our favorite restaurant (both in Kona & Hilo), and for groceries - skip the Safeway and drive South 4 miles to KTA Super Store - Keauhou. MUCH better! ALOHA!!!

Million Dollar View

This condo was perfect for our stay in Kona! We loved getting up in the morning and drinking coffee on the lanai while watching the waves crash below. The condo had everything we could need an more. We will definitely be back!
