El Sunrise Suite es una suite recientemente renovada en el corazón de Charlevoix. La suite es una suite de eficiencia - esencialmente una habitación- con una gran terraza con vistas a la Marina y Round Lake. Las grandes puertas corredizas de vidrio se abren en la cubierta, trayendo el exterior y aumentando enormemente el espacio habitable.

Alojarse en la suite Sunrise tendrá fácil acceso a restaurantes, galerías, boutiques, East Park y sus conciertos, y mucho más. La suite tiene un techo alto y se puede ver el amanecer desde las sillas giratorias en frente de las puertas correderas o fuera de la cubierta. La cubierta también tiene una parrilla de Foreman para asar a la parrilla. Disfrute de la espera de los barcos vienen ay de Round Lake y tienen un asiento de primera fila para Venetian Festival y fuegos artificiales.

Perfect VRBO for a couple! Great location that’s close to all the shops, restaurants, and bars. Wonderful view with a great patio/deck for either entertaining or relaxing. My wife and I would absolutely stay in this VRBO again the next visit Up North!

We absolutely loved our stay at the sunrise suite! The suite was perfectly located near shops and restaurants. The view was absolutely breathtaking. Aa everyone else mentioned, the suite backs up to a bakery, but if you keep the bathroom door closed, the smell won’t fill the suite. We literally carried out dinner every night so we could sit out on the deck and enjoy the view.

Perfect location

The room was the perfect size for two adults and a dog. I couldn’t be happier with the location and the lake view. The large deck was a nice bonus, especially for our dog, who enjoyed looking out at the people passing by and the water. The kitchen had all the amenities we needed and we were within very short walking distance of restaurants and cafes. If I ever visited Charlevoix again I would happily book here.

We had a great time during the apple festival. The place where we stayed was beautiful and the location was perfect. Close to everything. I would stay here again.

Relaxing weekend

From the moment we walked up to the door, we loved it! Amazing location with a gorgeous view. We loved the huge patio and outdoor furniture for relaxing. The property was the perfect size for us, extremely clean with great amenities. The owner and property manager were fabulous and very helpful. The convenience to downtown Charlevoix was perfect - morning coffee just around the corner, great shopping, and plenty of restaurants and wine bar within walking distance. We will visit again for sure.

The perfect spot - the perfect view

For our second visit to Sunrise Suite, we spent a week during the Venetian Festival. We were right in the middle of all the activity with everything in walking distance. The weather was great which made the deck with its beautiful views of the harbor, our living room for the week. Although the space is small, a couple has everything they need with the convenience of being on the water and right in town. We can't wait to come back for the Labor Day Holiday.

Great location and view !

Everything was excellent except for the noise from the Bridge Street restaurant. Their employees are noisy while on their breaks with loud and at times crude language we could hear while were were on the deck. Also, would recommend a better mattress for the day bed. Other wise a great place to stay !

I have a good relationship with the owners and staff of the restaurant near us. I have addressed the noise and language from the Tap Room employees. He has reminded all of the employees to be good neighbors and to move their conversations away from the condos and to keep their language appropriate for children.

Quite the find

One of a kind. Clean and private. The view off the high-ceilinged covered porch is everything; you’re looking at the sky and the lake but you’re still protected. The room is beautifully appointed and just the right size. Right in the heart of downtown and unbelievably convenient. The host is as gracious as can be. We’ll be back.

On The Harbor

We love staying at this property. It is small but fine for the 2 of us. You are right on Round Lake and in the heart of downtown. All the stores and restaurants are steps away. The unit has everything you need to be comfortable and the balcony is spacious and comfortable. Being on the second floor gives you a great view and keeps you above the traffic down below. The view is fabulous and watching the Beaver Island ferry and all the other boats come and go can keep you busy all day long.

Bigger than Expected!

We had a great stay in this Charlevoix apartment! Yes, it is small, but we actually thought it was much bigger than the pictures show, and we were completely comfortable the two of us with our two dogs. The best part is the huge deck that I swear is almost as big as the apartment! I spent a lot of time out there reading and even napping :) The apartment was easy to check into and was equipped with everything you need. The location is also fabulous both being on the water as well as within a few steps to get to many shops, restaurants, and bars. We would absolutely stay here again!

Last year I spent a lot of time staying at the Sunrise Suite. Its my favorite suite in the building because of the covered deck. It is just like another room. Great place to hang out and watch the action. If you want an idea of the view from the building the Charlevoix cam for Round Lake is mounted on the deck railing on the suite directly above the Sunrise Suite.

Lovely

Hard to find new things to brag about because our room was perfect from day one the first time. The "offsite" parking is a short block away; and loading my wife or unloading our shopping for the day is never a problem. About the only thing our gracious host, Joan, couldn't take care of was the weather. I wouldn't be surprised if that's being worked on. We'll be back. Love the new rug.

Beautiful patio overlooking harbor.

Outdoor patio experience was interrupted by noisy & crude restaurant workers taking their break outside right next door. Smoking, unpleasant language, etc. Otherwise, the unit was very nice & hostess was very attentive. Cleaning of unit before occupancy was only average.

This is the first three star review we’ve had in the six years I’ve owned the building. I am so sorry that the restaurant workers next-door negatively impacted your stay. Our welcome letter says “ We want your stay to be wonderful. If something is not up to your expectation, please let me or Kelly know. We want the opportunity to fix it while you are still there. ” I wish you had given me the opportunity to address this while you were here. I have a good working relationship with the owners and staff of the restaurant next-door sometimes they just need reminded to be thoughtful of our guests. Since you booked a stay for next year we’ll have another opportunity to address this. It would be very helpful when you write a review like this if you let us know where our cleaning was not up to expectations. I don’t really know how to address that the cleaning was only average other than to do a deep clean which we have done. Thank you for your feedback. Joan

Great location!

This place may be small but was perfect for my dog and I (well almost perfect...the air conditioner was out and a temporary one was placed even before I got there, but could not open the doors to the patio, which was a bummer during the cooler afternoons. Even despite that the stay was very comfortable as well as the bed. The patio you can't beat! All the amenities you needed were there. You are right downtown and everything is in walking distance. One thing I will note that I didn't realize, parking is not right on site. It is about 2 blocks away but a short walk across the main/busy street. I would absolutely stay here again if it was just me or one other person.

Sunrise Suite is a Tiny Gem

Jack and I have stayed in all 3 of Joan's units now and love each and every one of them but Sunrise Suite suits us the best. There is just the two of us so we are happy with a small space but a giant view from the deck. The kitchen is well stocked and has everything you need. The space is beautifully decorated and the quartz counter tops are striking. The furniture is very comfortable and the Murphy bed is simple to use. The deck is like having an additional room. it is on the second floor with a beautiful view of Round Lake and the harbor. The comings and goings of the Beaver Island Ferry provide never ending entertainment. The location of the unit is perfect for walking to restaurants and shopping. We can't wait to come back for a week in July.

A few years ago, I visited some friends who have a vacation home in Charlevoix. I fell in love with the town and it's people. The fact it was August and I was coming from a long, hot, humid summer in the South might have had something to do with it.

However, I have been to Charlevoix in the middle of winter and still love it!

The view and location- I could spend hours watching the lake from the deck.

I've always wanted to live downtown where I could walk to restaurants, bars, shopping, farmer's market, groceries, movie theater. The Sunrise Suite is just such a place.

And Charlevoix is a charming - almost magical- place.
