La propiedad en 73B Chivas Lane, Seagrove Beach, FL 32459, es una unidad de 2 BR 2 BA en un edificio de 4 plex. Este es un fourplex, ubicado directamente en la playa, hay dos unidades en el lado este y dos unidades en el lado oeste. Esta es una unidad para no fumadores. TV por cable con TV extra en el dormitorio principal y TV de pantalla plana en la sala de estar.

A medida que llegas (ver foto) este edificio parece una casa grande, pero en realidad es 4 unidades, la unidad en las fotos está en la mitad derecha del edificio (oeste) como conducir, unidad de nivel inferior. El edificio está construido sobre pilotes para elevarlo por encima de la duna para que cada unidad tenga una gran vista. Esta unidad está en el segundo nivel.

Impresionantes vistas de la playa privada y el agua. Este es un alquiler de sábado a sábado.

Vacation on beech

Property because it is right on the beech but mostly because it’s smaller. Less noise and more quiet. Management is very responsive-the property is clean and offers amenities. We ride our bikes for coffee- shopping. Close to several great state parks. . Since it is right on beech it is so easy to enjoy your shaded balcony or the sunshine and water. Property was recently upgraded .

Perfect Location

Perfect location but needs updates.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Could not have picked a better location. Beautiful and sparsely populated beach. The unit needs quite a few updates to fit the upscale location. We would rent again for a higher rate if it is renovated. New furniture and beds alone would be a big improvement. Also, would be helpful to have access to a broom or vacuum in the unit. Management very helpful when several repairs needed throughout unit while we were there.

Great location but in need of repair

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a perfect location on the beach and close to anything in the Seagrove/Seaside area. The units are undergoing renovations which was a bit inconvenient and the unit I stayed in has not been renovated so was in need of much repair. The inside was very outdated and could use more comfortable seating, the deck had a good view of the beach but no privacy from next door unit. Nail pops and splintered wood needs repairing on back deck. If you are not able to climb many narrow and winding steps with luggage then this is not the unit for you. Owners were very accommodating and for the last second booking at a good price, it was a good vacation for my very small group.

Disappointed is an Understatement

Freezer didn’t work, plumbing was all jacked up, the shower doors fell off into the floor, the wind whistles through the entire condo disallowing any sleep, the roof was damaged from a previous hurricane, sand was found in beds in the first night. When I spoke to Candi, she tried to defend her property by claiming the freezer worked and not calling her to notify her about the issues. Complete failure of a condo!!! Stay away from this property! I’m guessing these issues were quick fixes lol!

On the BEACH!

This quadplex is right on the beach, just a short walk down a few steps and you are on the beautiful white sand. The apartment was clean and basically equipped, but in agreement with our neighbor, we were there for the beach. There are numerous steps up to get to the apartment, but that wasn't an issue for us either. The view was wonderful; we even saw dolphins one day. Most days we ate a couple of meals on the deck, which had a comfortable Trex high table and chairs. One bathroom was nicely updated and apparently other one was the next project, along with redoing the interior stairs. Living room furniture was comfy. Master bed was good (after we removed a squishy mattress pad). My husband and I had a wonderful vacation!

Perfect couples offseason getaway

Nice comfortable getaway place. We enjoyed the location as every thing we needed was close by. It was nice to be right in the beach. Condo was well equipped for us. We were thankful it was off season as it was still a bit crowded in October. It’s right next to a large complex and public access. I would go agin.

What a relaxing time...

This was a beautiful beach property and location. What a restful and relaxing time we had, being right there on the beach is the best way to vacation!

Great location on a beautiful beach!

Overall amazing stay! Would totally stay here again. Our only complaint was the master bath has some issues (doesn’t drain or close well) & the last night we lost our wifi(maybe from storms). Otherwise you can’t beat the view or super easy access to the beach!! Also Friendly staff, we didn’t have a broom when we got there, but called and the brought one right over.

Unrealized Potential

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our 15th year at Seagrove but our first at this property. We loved the location, with the beach just a short walk from the unit. The unit had not been cleaned well and it did not appear the linen had been changed in the master bedroom, as stains were evident on the sheets. No linen was provided for the sleeper sofa. The sleeper sofa and love seat are in desperate need of replacing. The kitchen was missing basic essentials, i.e. oven mits, cookie sheets, etc. Our major issue was with the A/C. The air conditioner was controlled using a Nest thermostat. The owner controlled what we could set the thermostat to, setting the maximum low we could have the A/C on at 69 degrees. The unit rarely ever got to 69 even in the middle of the night, with temperatures during the day and evening reaching up to 76 and 77 degrees. I've rented properties in Seagrove for 15 summers in a row and this is the first time a property owner has ever "seized" control of the A/C from a guest. While the property management company was always quick to respond to any requests or issues, many of them could be preempted by doing an occasional walk through prior to guests' arrivals.

Awesome location!!

The property was in a fabulous location. The private beach meant that it wasn't packed, which was very nice. The unit wasn't the most updated, but we weren't there for the inside, we were there for the outside. The ability to go down the back steps straight to the beach was the reason we loved it. The only recommendation we had was that whoever cleans the unit needs to do the windows and the glass on the deck rail. We had to clean them ourselves, to get the view from inside. It made the view 100% better!!

Great location but.......

Home was located in a wonderful area. However, the toilet in the main bathroom would not flush without removing the lid on the tank to manually flush it. There was not a dust pan to use when sweeping the house, and the kitchen was not well stocked with pots or pans. Also, no one had cleaned out the lint catcher in the dryer in a while. It was full of sand and some of the sand had spilled over into the dryer. The thermostat also had a code on it that we were not privy too. So, you could not turn the air up or down!

Great Place for the Money

Perfect location, set up, and size for my family of 4! The only two things I'd note is pack as light as possible due to it being 39 steep stairs to get in....yes I counted :). #2 Do bring a box of clorox wipes for the kitchen surfaces. The vital parts(sink, toilets, showers, bedding) were very clean but the countertops were missed. The unit is dated and could use a facelift but all in all no complaints. Also bring extra soap, toilet paper, trash bags, and laundry detergent. It states it in the paperwork and you will need it all. I would definitely rent again given the opportunity.

Great Apartment, Perfect Location

The view was great! But some maintenance needed in the condo.

Great view. We would go back just for that. A little disappointed with the state of the condo though. Blinds were duct taped, washer and dryer didn’t work very well, the remotes were missing, TV didn’t work in the bedroom, the sheets were scratchy, and there was very little in the kitchen (one pan, no pizza cutter, etc)

Best spot in the panhandle

This was my second trip to Seagrove this year. Stress and constant election news just made me need somewhere calm and relaxed and I knew Phil had just the place. I love this house. I have now stayed in two different units. This time I was in the upper unit. It meant more steps but the view was worth the climb. The spindles in the railing have been replaced with glass so you have a perfect, unimpeded view of the sand and surf. This beach is never busy. There are lots of very expensive houses around and no tall high-rise buildings to generate a big noisy crowd. The rental price is fantastic for a unit right on the beach! The unit is really, really large and well-laid out for vacationers. Phil is the very best owner I have ever worked with. I appreciate him more and more each time I rent from him and Gary at the rental office is also great. I am already thinking about which week next May I want to come back--if I can wait that long! Thanks so much, Phil and Gary!

Best Place on the Beach!!!

We just spent 2 weeks in the upper unit, 73A, and loved every minute of it! All meals on the deck, watching the sun rise in the east, and set in the west. Saw dolphins several mornings, and on one early morning walk i even saw a pair of bald eagles! Perfect location halfway between Destin and Panama City Beach. So close to the water that a football could very well be thrown from the deck to the water's edge! Water is perfectly clear and Caribbean blue in color, and just doesn't get any better than this. Phil was easy to work with, as was the rental company. The house itself was great, plenty of room, with all the comforts of home. We are already planning another trip back here, as soon as possible! (fyi - there are a lot of stairs, so if mobility is an issue, this would not be the place for you.)

Best Price, Best Beach

This place was awesome and my entire family thoroughly enjoyed the week here. It was clean, great location, beautiful view, excellent price and a fantastic uncrowded beach!! The only problem we encountered was the fitted sheet in the master bedroom being too small, so it had to be fixed every morning because it only covered the pillow top part of the mattress. (not that it would stop me from staying there again) There were a lot of stairs to get to the upper unit, so be prepared- but it was well worth it to be on the top floor. If you stay here bring small trash can liners and detergent for a front load washer so you can be fully prepared. I will absolutely stay here again, and we are already talking about returning ASAP!!
