We really enjoyed our time at this property. A very restful visit with a layout that worked well for our young children. Being able to see the water and sunset from the house was a real plus. Our older children could play outside and we could keep an eye on them easily. Overall a great place to stay!

This was our third stay at Sunset Cove. It is a perfect house for pet owners because there is a dog-friendly beach and welcoming outdoor restaurants. We miss the sun room and front yard already. Josh is an accommodating host.

Stunning view

We stayed here for a few days while our floors were being refinished. The views are outstanding. The location can not be beat. Owner communication was easy & prompt. All in all a great stay!

A perfect getaway

Our family has been spending summers in Manasquan for 75 years. We decided to come for Mother’s Day weekend and it was just perfect. Josh was a wonderful host and the home is thoughtfully stocked. It is the perfect balance of old Manasquan bungalow charm and modern upgrades. We (and our pup) loved watching the fisherman and boats at the inlet and having the dog beach right there was amazing! We will definitely plan to stay again!

Good stay

Home was well stocked with everything a family may need. Had a nice little driveway in the back for our vehicle. Check in process was simple and met the owner at that time. Photos on Vrbo of the view from the home don't do it justice. The view of the inlet/manasquan river was great! Pet fee was a bit high but considering the location the daily rental rate itself was good. Would return.

Perfect location

It’s hard to find desirable dog-friendly rentals in Manasquan. We have stayed at this property twice, for its proximity to the beach and the dog beach, its wall of windows facing the inlet and its overall coziness.

Great place!

Perfect location, fantastic screened-in porch with nice breezes and views of the boats passing by. Nice fishing just out the door, lovely dog beach across the street, which would also be perfect for small children, ocean beach a block away, friendly restaurant just up the street.

Great location and. Great set up

The owner was very easy to work with and responsive. Property was cute and beachy and had a great layout. We enjoyed the views of the Manasquan inlet and being close to the beach. We would definitely stay again.

A perfect family getaway !

Talk about a great location !!! The views of the Manasquan inlet ( boat watching all day ) , and short walking distance to beach make this an incredible place to stay ! House is full of windows for unobstructed views of the water !! Dog beach across the street another great bonus - plus many restaurants nearby !! We will be back !!

Moments to Remember

We enjoyed a lovely extended weekend with members of our family-including our Aussie. The house is still perfect and it brought back so many fond memories from when I was a little girl being in this house for many summers. It is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. It was a pleasure dealing with Josh who welcomed us and listened to my parents reminisce- recalling so many fond memories here at the Jersey Shore. Benihana races, Carlson's Corner & much more.... add celebrating dad's 80th birthday to that list of amazing memories.

Even better than I expected

The photos do not do this place justice. The views were just amazing. Even when the weather didn't cooperate, watching the boat and foot traffic was enjoyable. I miss the enclosed porch!

Family Summer Vacation 2019

We truly enjoyed this quaint beach bungalow. The views of the inlet watching the boats and sunsets, the ability to just cross the street to fish and bring our dog to the dog beach and a short walk up the block to the ocean were the major highlights. The house was also well stocked and the owners were a pleasure to work with. This all contributed to a very memorable vacation for our family. Thank you!

Cozy and incredible views!!

We enjoyed a quiet and lovely long weekend with the family. The house was perfect. Beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. It was a pleasure dealing with Josh who welcomed us with a beautiful bottle of wine and delicious Easter candies for the kids. We will definitely come back next year.
