The Crazy Crab es una nueva casa adosada ubicada en The Commons at Seashell. Esta es una excelente ubicación para alquilar una o más unidades para reuniones familiares, retiros y reuniones con amigos. Hay una gran piscina compartida, hamacas para relajarse, mesas de picnic para comidas al aire libre bajo la sombra de una cabaña en el centro de las unidades. Cada unidad tiene una ducha al aire libre para enjuagar la arena de la playa. Es un paseo fácil o divertido paseo en carrito de golf a la playa. Very comfortable for our family, including our 2 toddlers and dog. Walk to the beach was a little further than expected but an easy golf cart ride. The pool was chilly in December and we wished there was a hot tub! The house was comfy with lots of fun games. Property management was quick. King size bed most comfortable. Queen bed was very creaky and that room had TONS of natural light. Bunk room for kids had no window so it was good for naps. Next time we would find a place with a hot tub! But it was good overall.

Great place and area to stay

Surprisingly being surrounded with close neighbors and a courtyard with a pool, we thought that it would be loud once we arrived. Everyone was very respectful of each other. Noise/music was turned down at night. During the day walking the dog neighbors are very curious and polite

New Years Stay

When we arrived our lock was broken and the wifi wasn't working but both were taken care of within an hour. There were several dirty/moldy dishes that had been put back in the cabinets. We were missing several pots, pans, and a can opener but they delivered within a couple of hours. The furniture in the living room was different. The bunk room is more like a closet and was impossible to fit more than 2 kiddos in there. The walls are paper thin and all business could be heard through out the house...no privacy. The bathroom leaks into the living room right onto the smaller couch...managament knows and says its disclosed. This certainly did not ruin our visit as we love Port A...but will choose a different location for our next visit.

We apologize for the inconvenience with the lock as the sand and humidity tend to complicate and shorten the life span of anything metal here on the island. These instances are usually quick to resolve. We failed on our inspection of the dishes, but are glad that we could provide you with what was missing for your cooking needs. The bunk room is small, most of our properties have a floor plan and pictures to show the measurements of each room. Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Don't get me wrong, this place is absolutely beautiful!! Loved that it was so close to all the restaurants, shopping and beach--loved that there was a pool and it was a smaller rental ground. However, maybe I have unrealistic cleaning expectations--but the way the "crazy crab" was cleaned just wasn't up to par with the cost of the rental. Upon arrival, we removed our shoes and immediately had crumbs and sand sticking to our feet. There were grape stems behind the sink, in the corner by the bar and by the side table (we didn't have grapes). There was also hair in the shower and on the pillows in the bed. I was also shocked that there was only 1 smoke detector--the others had been removed. The backing was there, but the actual detector wasn't. Also saw 3 LIVE ROACHES, and numerous baby ones. As someone who used to live down there, I understand roaches are an issue. But when you have a rental business it should be top priority to make sure your guests aren't grossed out by bugs...which unfortunately we were.

Hello Emily, Thank you for submitting your review, we have unfortunately fallen short of our standards when you arrived and for that, we offer our sincere apology, we have forwarded your review to our Housekeeping Manager to go over it with our housekeepers to make sure this does not happen again. We do spray inside and outside of these units on a quarterly basis, and they come out if we report anything to them, we will make sure they are called to spray the property, they are a natural hazard in the area and we will try to make sure they will not be an issue moving forward, we hope you give us another chance to show you we listen and will be improving our housekeepers so they can make sure they are not missing items like the ones you noticed. Overall Comfy and cute / dirty sheets

Overall this is a cute comfy place to stay. The biggest complaint we have is that our condo and our other condo that our families rented had very dirty sheets. Master bedroom had stains and long black hair on the sheets. The bunk room had hair ties and a lot of dirt. Our other condo had a used bandaid in the sheets! Clearly they didn’t change the sheets but her charge you a cleaning fee. When I brought it to the managements attention, they didn’t even apologize. Just asked what size sheets we needed to change them. Also the blender almost caught fire. And then lastly we also saw a baby roach on the kitchen counter. Overall we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay but the dirty sheets were a dealbreaker for us. We won’t be back to this property as they clearly short cut cleaning and leave used dirty sheets for next guest.

Great experience

The staff were so responsive and made the check-in/out process so incredibly easy using the text service. The location of the condo in relation to the beach and other amenities was great. The kids enjoyed using the pool. The condo was very comfortable and we had a great stay.

Much needed vacation

location is near the beach. It's best to rent a golf cart. If you drive, make sure to purchase a beach pass. You can get them pretty much anywhere . The home is located near several restaurants. Everything is less than 5 minutes away. We weren't able to enjoy the pool because there were a ton of families. But the beach totally makes up for that.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The service for the unit was amazing. We had a number of issues with the place and the response was very quick. On the small end - the pictures didn't match the inside exactly. It looks much bigger in the pictures than it is and the furnishings are different, but overall not a big deal for us. Also, the pool (in August) was really was cooler outside of the pool so not really usable for us. Not that anything could be done...I just wish I had thought about it prior to booking a place with a pool because I wouldn't have bothered looking for that extra. Our major issues were that the place was overrun with cockroaches. They did come spray for bugs on the 2nd day (Again - great service), but there is only so much a bug guy can do in a day so we had bugs our entire stay. We stayed for 2 weekends and both weekends we had multiple neighbors who partied hard. It wasn't great for families who just want some peace and quiet. It seemed to have lots of groups of super loud people who stayed up partying really late.

Thank you for staying with us at Life in Paradise. We try our best to control the roach problem, but this time of year it's hard. Hot humid weather seems to make them come inside where it's cooler. With the units at The Commons sleeping 8-10 people each, its popular for large groups. Maybe for your next stay we can find you a quieter place.
