Sea Palace Retreat es una villa nueva, no compartida, privada, exagerada, confortable, totalmente cargada de 2 dormitorios y 2. 5 baños, recién inaugurada en 2016/2017, para que disfrute de las vacaciones más increíbles de la hermosa isla de St . John tiene para ofrecer. Ubicado en Coral Bay, que acaba de ser el número 4 del Top 52 Lugares para visitar en 2016 del New York Times, es el lado más tranquilo y preferido, la mayoría de los viajeros que regresan es un pequeño secreto, lejos del lado más concurrido de Cruz Bay. Debido al éxito de su vecino, totalmente privado (no compartido) En Harmony Retreat -un relajante, alquiler para parejas 1br- el próximo lote, se alentó al propietario a tener un dormitorio de 2 habitaciones, por lo que su gran cantidad de invitados de regreso desean viajar con otra pareja o miembro de la familia, podrían tener algo para acomodar. Bueno, siguió su consejo y después de 5 años de construir el Sea Palace Retreat, ¡está terminado! Ya tiene reservas de solo transeúntes por consultas, invitados que regresan, boca a boca y realmente reserva rápidamente. Su diseño único tiene características modernas, rústicas, góticas e incluso de castillo con toques de ruina del histórico St. John. Es una sólida villa de concreto / piedra, no crujiente, bien construida, con todas las comodidades que uno podría necesitar para unas vacaciones relajantes. The stay and view was amazing and the property manager Paul was an absolute blessing. He made sure that all of our prayers were answered, he even took time out of his own day when he was around to talk me through a lot of the things to do around the island. Also gave us a huge insight on what we should look forward too from such things as restaurants gift shops ect. Amazing week at Sea Palace. We are definitely a Coral Bay family and St.J is really just a magical place. It's our 2nd visit and stay on Sea Grape Hill and its tough to beat. Really preferred this location from our previous as offered cooling breezes and an super view of Hurricane Hole. Special shout out to prop mgr Paul for being very responsive and to our new best buddy Sebastian.

This is a beautiful home for your visit to St. John. The balcony and a pool overlooking to separate day views are unmatched. There were only two of us on the trip, but this home could’ve easily fit a larger group. We love the seclusion of the east side of the island well still being close enough to restaurants and he read access to North Shore beaches. I would highly recommend this rental.

Words cannot describe the beauty of this house, pictures do not do it justice. We had an amazing time celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary from snorkeling every single day driving around in our Jeep checking out the cute little restaurants and then relaxing at night watching the moon and enjoying the pool. We will definitely be back to this beautiful gem of a house. Definitely check out the Windmill Bar!! The most amazing views!!

It was a beautiful place to stay. We had everything we needed. Paul was an amazing resource and really knowledgeable about the island. There was an amazing breeze the kept us comfortable on the back deck and Maine part of the house, the mini split air conditioning in the bedroom worked perfectly to keep us cool in the bedroom at night! SeaPalace is a beautiful spot in St. John (Coral Bay) with an unbeatable view, and we enjoyed our stay overall.What we loved:•The property was very clean.•The view is incredible—about as good as it gets.•The master bedroom A/C was cold and worked great.•Paul, the property manager, provided first-class communication—quick, clear, and helpful.What could be improved / clarified:•The listing described the unit as a two-bedroom, but we only had access to one bedroom.•It wasn’t clear from the listing that the top and bottom floors are separate from one another.•The pool/spa jets and heater weren’t working, and we weren’t informed beforehand—we only found out after reaching out to ask how to use them.Bottom line:Good value and I would recommend it, especially for the view and the cleanliness. I just think the listing and/or pre-arrival communication should address the bedroom access and the pool/spa status up front to avoid confusion.

Hey Eric, thanks for the nice review and glad you enjoyed your stay. Just to reply, you booked only 2pp, a couple, why would you need the lower level prepared unless you had additional guest? You also saved $ by using the main level, we don't lock the lower level, just don't prepare since not needed. You can still use bathroom and fridge, etc..My apologies for spa pool, pump went right before you arrived and very hard to get parts on an island during Holidays. I ordered extra pumps and parts so in future can be repaired faster. All the best and take care.

Incredible Views, couldn't ask for anything more

We loved this house. There were thoughtful touches everywhere and a lot of amenities we appreciated. It was very homey and a good place to call home base. Some of the furniture could be updated and the hot tub is not a hot tub. It's a warm pool with soft jets. The property manager Paul was very prompt with advice and help. We would definitely stay here again!

Spectacular Views and Immaculate Home

This home is absolutely beautiful! We loved the spacious Lanai with the amazing views. This home was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need for your trip, I have rented over 20 VRBO's and no other property comes close to offering what this home does. The property was very clean and the beds were comfortable. It was extremely nice to have a washer and dryer as well. The property manager, Paul, lives near by and is a great guy and is super helpful as he has lived on island for quite some time. If you are looking for a great experience in a peaceful community look no further!

This is a truly wonderful place to stay, and we had an amazing vacation. The property itself is beautiful—the view from the deck is stunning (though slightly less private than the photos appear, but not a problem), the kitchen is spacious and well-equipped, the king bed is comfortable, the outdoor shower is a fun touch, and we enjoyed all the wildlife around the property. The property manager was also wonderful and worked hard to make our stay enjoyable.That said, I think the listing details are a bit outdated and could use an update to better manage expectations. We switched to (and splurged on) this property specifically because the listing mentioned a heated saltwater pool in addition to a hot tub. In reality, there is a hot tub and a regular (unheated) pool. The pool also did not seem to be saltwater. While this didn’t ruin our stay and is understandable, it was disappointing since the heated saltwater pool was a major factor in our decision and the higher price point. I personally didn’t use the pool since it was a bit chilly for me, but my husband enjoyed a refreshing post-beach dip most days while I sat out and enjoyed the view with him. We realize now all we really need are those beautiful St. John beaches anyway.Overall, we loved staying here and would absolutely recommend it to others. If a heated pool isn’t important to you—and you don’t mind the adventurous (but totally manageable) drive up the switchbacks—you’ll have a fantastic time. Great location too.

Excellent stay. House was clean and fully stocked for our needs. We cooked dinner there every night and always had what was neede, even an extra propane tank for the grill. Greg was very responsive and Paul was very helpful and was immediately there when we needed him. The pool was great! the jacuzzi/ hot tub was warm, but never did warm up or turn on. The only thing i would say is bring bug spray if you get bit by bugs frequently, and bring a small fan. The bedrooms are air conditioned but the rest of the house is not and it was quite warm. We were there the last week of July. Other than that it was a wonderful stay.

Overall our stay was good. Kim went out of her way to make sure all of our arrangements for tours were met. Communications were great. Our only issue was that some household items were dated and needed attention. The location of the property was perfect, halfway between Quepos and Manual Antonio Park. Great sized accommodation for two couples.

Our stay at Sea Palace was the perfect 1st visit/honeymoon home on St John. The views. The location. The hospitality. The cleanliness and layout of the house. We had the perfect combo of options to sightsee and chill. Coral Bay was the most amazing place for us, and renting a jeep was the right call. Paul was a top-notch property guru, and Sebastian the cat was the best hangout companion. We are already planning our next trip back, and are so grateful for this experience of a lifetime. You won’t be disappointed!

The owner has managed several top St. John rentals thus built his first-In Harmony Retreat, which is a very successful, popular couples 1br villa. Having been encouraged for a demand from his guests to bring others, Sea Palace was planned and built over the last 5 years. It was designed through years of experience in the travel and entertainment business. The owner is also a professional musician and has worked at most of the villas, playing events and parties over the last 20 years, so has had allot of design influence for what works and does not.
