Encantadora casa frente al agua con una gran piscina con estilo de centro turístico y una piscina que crean un entorno maravilloso para una escapada tranquila en el lago Oconee. Ofreciendo 2 dormitorios y 2 baños en el nivel principal con una gran sala / suite con cama King, magníficas vistas, amplio dormitorio y un baño grande en el nivel de la terraza. Idealmente ubicado a solo minutos en bote y automóvil de los mejores restaurantes y todas las comodidades y conveniencias del Lago Oconee. Las vacaciones frente al mar no son mucho mejores que esto.

The home was absolutely perfect for our family of 8. Everything about it worked for us and we would love to make it a part of our summer family vacation options. Proximity to fun things to do, restaurants and just that wonderful lake made this an incredible vacation. Mary & Mike were so responsive to any questions.

There was a mixup with the cleaning crew, but the host was quick to remedy and compensated us for the confusion. Beautiful location.

Family Vacations

The property was very nice. We greatly enjoyed our stay. Owners were great at communicating and helpful with things in the area. There is an ant problem in the kitchen and dishes were put away dirty would be our only complaints. The pool/dock area was fantastic.

Family Summer Birthday Get-together

We were looking for a stand-alone house to host a small gathering of family to celebrate our summer birthdays. This beautiful home was so perfect. Quiet, spacious, luxuriously and thoughtfully arranged to be enjoyed in so many ways. The pool, the dock, the easy lake access, grilling, playing and relaxing. My favorite time was actually in the night after everyone left, sitting on the porch during a light rain, listening to the tree frogs and watching the lights sparkle off the water. Absolutely magical! If only I could have bottled the sights, sounds and smells of that gentle rain. My family is already asking when we can return. Thank you for sharing this special place.

Thoroughly enjoyed the house and pool and lakefront. It was the perfect spot for all three generations of our family to be together in one place for a few days. Our hosts were very responsive. The property was spacious and comfortable. We’d do it again in a heartbeat .

Don’t Hesitate!

If you were lucky enough to find this property available for your travel dates and made it to this review, stop looking any further and book this property. This is my fourth consecutive year at the lake, and have been trying to start a family tradition with the grand babies and grown children and finally had the perfect experience we have been looking for. We will never have to go thru the painstaking searching and worrying about where we are staying again. This will be our permanent spot hopefully for years to come. The property is very secluded, private, and tucked in a cove with lots of trees and wildlife, but you would never realize you are less than five minutes away from some of the best restaurants in town. We brought our 18 foot Grady White, and the dock is extremely well built, plenty of deep water, but protected from potential damaging wake actions from other boats. The pool and hot tub speaks for itself but be warned that once you experience staying on the lake with a pool, you will never accept anything less. The house is extremely comfortable and amazingly provisioned. You will truly feel at home! Even the covered parking is great to keep the hot sun off your vehicles and lots of room for trailer parking. And the owners, they are just wonderful! I promise, you will not regret it!

The Perfect Vacation Home!

This is our second visit to this home. We loved the updated kitchen! The house was perfect for two families— everyone had plenty of space. We brought our own boat as it was easy to launch nearby and very convenient to keep on the dock. We also found great fishing right off of the dock! Homeowners were very responsive with every question. We will absolutely be back!

Family Getaway

Perfect family getaway and space for all of us! We loved drinking coffee on the deck, swimming in the pool, and fishing off the dock. We rented a boat nearby for a couple of days and truly enjoyed the lake. It was a fabulous 5 days and Mike and Mary were super easy to communicate with, thank you. Hope we can come back for another family getaway.

Family lake vacation

Accurate listing. Great house set up! Well supplied kitchen! Only negative was the Hot Tub controlled via an App! We had to text to turn on Hot tub! While I like the idea of it- actuality of it was not ideal for renters. There were times when my children(early 20s) wanted to use it but I didn’t feel comfortable texting someone after 11 asking to turn it on! All in all a great experience.

what a beautiful home ! the property & location is perfect! pool, hot tub/spa was wonderful after spending day on the lake and swim in the pool. great way to end the day. plenty of room for 6 adults and two teenage girls. Mary & Mike are great to work with. Rented a pontoon boat with tube, wakeboard from Young Harris water sports which is a great place and close to house. Thank you !

Fabulous Weekend on Lake Oconee!

Mike & Mary have a beautiful, well maintained property. We thoroughly enjoyed our time hanging out at the pool/hot tub, playing games, and fishing off the dock until dark each night. There are so many great spaces to spend time together: coffee on the back deck, games around the table, conversations in the living areas. It was so nice to have a bathroom for each bedroom as well! Highly recommend the property and owners!

Great getaway!

Spent several nights here with a group of friends and had a wonderful time! The home is very cozy and comfortable with plenty of room both inside and out. The location is very convenient but also feels private and offers gorgeous views of the lake. The weather was a bit rainy for a couple days so we took full advantage of all the rocking chairs on the covered patios. Note that the hot tub heater wasn't working while we were there but I understand repairs are imminent. We didn't mind at all but maybe check on the status if this is important to you. We are already talking about returning next year!

Beautiful Lake.

On our first visit to Lake Oconee, we could not have had a better lodging experience. Ample space, well supplied kitchen and nice pool. We rented a pontoon boat which we kept docked at the house. Everyone had a nice vacation.
