Este caprichoso segundo piso, 3br / 2ba casa de playa con vistas a la piscina principal del complejo. El amplio salón tiene techos abovedados y como se adjunta a un porche de la pantalla. El salón tiene una gran pantalla plana TV, reproductor de DVD y muebles nuevos. La cocina abierta ha sido actualizada con electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable y una encimera de granito, equipada con taburetes. El primer nivel en suite maestro tiene una cama king y un porche privado con vistas a la piscina. El primer dormitorio de invitados tiene una reina. Hay un segundo baño de invitados en la planta principal. Una escalera de caracol conduce a un loft que tiene un segundo dormitorio de invitados que tiene dos camas individuales. Para los huéspedes adicionales, hay un sofá cama en la sala de estar. Hidden Dunes Beach & Tennis Resort ofrece varios servicios en el lugar, como un lago con un muelle de pesca, un pozo de herradura, una cancha de baloncesto, canchas de tenis de calidad profesional y parrillas al aire libre.

Nice place

It was a nice place, but the bed in the master felt like we were sleeping on plywood. There wasn’t a ton of things to bake with. We had to borrow things from my sister’s condo just to make a casserole. The seating area on the porch was ok, but not a ton of seating. It was a great location relative to the big pool; it overlooked it.

Dishwasher door doesn’t close correctly. In master bathroom the toilet doesn’t flush properly. Bug in bathroom. Pans and pot holders dirty. When pulled bed out of sofa springs left out. Beach Getaway Book as something spilled all in it. Only a few grills work. Fridge doesn’t get cold enough. Sofa bed broke. Laundry door broke.  Back porch needs a good cleaning. I thought you should know this information for your next guest visit.

the images shown on the listing have the same layout as the apartment with a few differences. the neighborhood and home were nice, however, it was quite a distance to the beach. it’s about 6 minute walk to the pathway that arrives at the beach. it is however, pool side,though you have to walk around the building to get there. property manager however was very friendly and helpful. would recommend if you don’t mind the walk. overall would stay again

Nice, but several issues

1)Dishwasher broken and no one could fix until today after we left 2) Refrigerator did not cool so I pulled it away from wall and cleaned the fan which was absolutely filthy 3) Microwave door handle broken 4) Large burner on left of oven knob broke 5) Upstairs breaker had switched off so we had to get that reset too All in all it was not the best experience and we would not return to this property again

This unit badly needs new furniture. Living room furniture was not comfortable. The carpet is disgu

The carpet is disgustingly dirty. The floors were not much better. King bed very hard. Hall bath/shower knob does not work properly, either cold or scalding water, no in between. Kitchen sink leaked under, was “fixed” with a bucket under it. Will not stay in this unit again.

Spring Break

The location was great. The condo is a bit outdated. New furniture is needed and the carpet needs to be cleaned. The place was clean and we had everything we needed. Just needs some cosmetic updates.

It was just ok

We had a fantastic week in Mirimar. The beach was beautiful and the resort itself is fantastic. And the price is right for the area. But.......... Prior to our arrival we're informed that our unit with 2 bathrooms may be without a shower as it is being redone. The property manager "hoped" it would be complete prior to our arrival. It was not. We checked in on Saturday and the update was that it would be complete on Monday. The contractor didn't show. We finally had a second shower by half way through our visit. The biggest issue was the work literally only took an hour to complete and that the property manager basically told me "oh well, I can't control the contractor's schedule" Some notes on the unit itself: The pictures show a beautiful pool right outside the unit. The pool is beautiful but is accessed by walking completely around the building. It is an easy 10 minute walk to the beach. Be aware that there are a fair amount of stairs to go down to the beach and back up to walk back. There is a small amount of parking closer to the beach access to minimize your walk if you want. I used the White Diamond beach service located there and they were fantastic. (I sent multiple messages to the property manager prior to our stay asking about parking and got no reply) The furniture is tired and needs replaced. The stove had knobs completely broken off rendering 2 burners unusable. Most of my unhappiness lies with the property manager. Poor communication with no concern for your satisfaction once they have your money. All in all the stay was great but regardless I just would avoid Best Beach Getaways whenever possible. (FYI this is not a knee jerk review. I waited 2 weeks to let everything settle)

Can not use Master Shower

The afternoon prior to departing to the rental we received a email that the master shower was not to be used. This was a problem with 6 adults and 2 children. We did enjoy our time here but going to this part of the coast was like leaving Atlanta and coming to Atlanta, trafic is terrible.

Smelled like animal had died

Renting was the easiest however there where no instructions about the parking for 1/2 mile walk to beach pictures of the premises are deceiving in my opinion

Great place to stay!

Overall a good stay. The beds are a little hard, internet was slow, stove missing two knobs. We enjoyed the heated pool and the beach was easy to access. Would recommend having pamphlets or printout of some restaurants and things to do in the area. Overall clean, great for our family. We would definitely stay there again!

Spring Break 2021

This place was so cozy and a short walk to the beach, the property was great. The unit could use some painting and updating. We were only able to use 2 of the burners on the stove because the knobs were damaged. Everything else was great!

Nice, but needs a cleaning

The location of the property was great. The pools and the grounds were very well maintained. The beach was within walking distance. However, the cottage needs an overall cleaning. The floors needed mopped and the carpet needed to be taken up and replaced.

Family trip

Location was good. The WiFi never worked, called manager and she answered quickly but nothing Happened. The place does need cleaning. We weren’t able to walk berefooted because the floor was really dirty . Other then that we had a good stay

Good & Bad

The Good: Location, 10 min walk to the beach. Overlooking pool Nice layout Screened porch The Bad: ~Broken Dishwasher - 3 phone request to fix (no response) ~Horrified with pandemic that previous dishes weren't washed as after we had eaten and loaded dishwasher saw that dishwasher pod was still in dishwasher from previous "wash". Gross & very concerning! ~Shag carpets in bedrooms need to be replaced with tile or flooring. Carpets are dirty. ~A few sets of plastic dishes for children would be nice.

Great property!

We really enjoyed this property and would likely return to hidden dunes sometime again if we were going to stay in Destin. One thing to note, there is an image of the workout facility in the listing, and the cottages we stayed in did not have access to it. Not a big deal overall, but it definitely changes the amenities situation somewhat. Thanks again!

The perfect beach house!!!

We had a great time!!! The house had great views of the pool and it was spacious enough for all of us to be comfortable!!!! It had everything we needed and more!!!! The house was so close to the beach!!! We absolutely loved our stay!!!!

Place was nice. It is a bit of a walk to beach.

I like the condo. But freezer didn’t make a lot of ice. Or freeze everything very well. Kitchen not that organized as far as the pots and need a bigger frying pan . But over all place was nice. Big pool. I would just like it to be closer to beach.

Nice property, we would stay again.

The condo was nice and served the need for the 7 of us. Although we felt that the furnishings could be more up to date and comfortable, the property Manager Delphine called to let me know there are updates coming soon to this condo. One major complaint is the spiral staircase. It’s very narrow and hard for adults to go up and down. Air conditioning was amazing and cooled the unit very nicely. Pool was beautiful and well kept as were the grounds. Over all a wonderful vacation in a very nice location. We would definitely stay here again.
