Loved our Sea Cabin!

Amazing location in Isle of Palms. Close to everything. Couldn’t ask for better access to the beach and boardwalk. The condo itself was perfect. Great space for 2 adults and 2 kids. They were obsessed with the bunks! And for anyone who cares, they never fell out ;) It was so clean, well stocked with needed items - so grateful for the beach chairs and sand toys! Parking was convenient. Beds comfy. Wii games were a huge plus at night! Kids loved everything about it. Thank you for an amazing week. We’d love to come back.

The primary bedroom mattress and the couch were both uncomfortable. The location is wonderful but the cost for a small condo in that location was not worth it.

We hated the bed, the mattress hurt our backs(maybe it is just too soft for us,sank when you laid down)and the brass bed squeaked at every little move-this was VERY annoying, couldn't get much sleep. The room was decorated nice, but it had too much stuff. We didn't have room for our things because of the desk, chairs, dishes, ect.. we had no where to put our groceries because the cabinets & coutertops were full. View of the beach was nice, but can't see the pier from our balcony.

Reviewer Comments: Always stay at Sea Cabins when vacationingin S>C> 1st time have stayed in the A sectionand will try to get same cabin or at least thissection next year. 205A had everything I neededkitchen was updated, except for the refrigerator. The compresser would start veryfrequently and was loud. Floor had not beencleaned/wiped by the slider, previous guess haddropped soda or something, and it was sticky. Took a second to clean it up no big deal excepttells you cleaning people had wiped the floor You couldn't have missed the spot.Questionsraised is what else didn't they clean>> Butdidn't let it spoil my vacation. A more comfortable corner chair would have been nice,may be a consideration for the future.

Amazing location but very small

Renting with this rental property was a complete pain. They required that we arrived within an hour and half period. It was just ridiculous. Our travel arrangements did allow for that. They were not very flexible. I had to call several times before they would set up a lock box; which was just ridiculous because we signed everything electronically and no keys are required. It’s a hassle for nothing. My husband and I have traveled the world and never encountered a company that was so difficult to work with. We both have asthma. The apartment was extremely dusty. The place looked like it hadn’t been rented in a long time. It was very dirty. There were toe nail clippings in the dressers. There was a thick layer of dust. This place has mold and you can smell it. I had to air out the place. It killed our allergies. The dishes were slimy. It was bad. I washed what we needed that night and they sent someone to clean the next day. Everything worked. Nothing was broken. The location was excellent. Restaurants, the grocery store, and even a pharmacy are all within walking distance. There is a great view of the beach and the sea from the balcony. The beach is a very short walk. It is very, very small. It comfortably fits 2 people; but it’s tight. It does not comfortably fit more than 2 people. The bunk beds are built into the hallway and are smaller than twin sized so our boys were uncomfortable. I thought the beds were in their own room. I was a bit confused by the pictures. I do not recommend this for a family.

Reviewer Comments: We had a good time, but the crowds are getting a bit too much for us. I’ve been coming down to Isle of Palms since the early 80’s and loved it then. I totally understand that growth has to happen over time, but I wanted my (5) yr old daughter to have some of the same experience that I had coming here in my youth, but that’s impossible now. We felt more like we were in Myrtle Beach than a little island, over all a nice time, but I believe Sea Cabins and Ise of Palms has changed too much for our taste.

Cereal bowls are size of large serving bowls and very few glasses making it necessary to clean them to use the next time. The bed was the same as the sofa. Both need to be replaced. I expected better for $200/night
