Growth isn’t always a good thing

Reviewer Comments: We had a good time, but the crowds are getting a bit too much for us. I’ve been coming down to Isle of Palms since the early 80’s and loved it then. I totally understand that growth has to happen over time, but I wanted my (5) yr old daughter to have some of the same experience that I had coming here in my youth, but that’s impossible now. We felt more like we were in Myrtle Beach than a little island, over all a nice time, but I believe Sea Cabins and Ise of Palms has changed too much for our taste.

Cereal bowls are size of large serving bowls and very few glasses making it necessary to clean them to use the next time. The bed was the same as the sofa. Both need to be replaced. I expected better for $200/night

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: VERY pleasurable return visit to the Sea Cabins. We loved the 205A cabin and would select it again on a subsequent visit to the IOP. A side note... the light switch for the over-kitchen fixture is installed upside down and when the dimmer slider is moved there is disturbing flickering of the light. Some connection is possibly dangerously loose. Mark was GREAT in helping with getting the TV and remote working properly.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This vacation started out wonderful. Place looked nice and clean. But on our last night small bugs, possibly termites, lots of them, were coming out from the floors and trim. I called the 24 hour number and they told us it could wait until normal business hours. We were extremely disappointed!! We drove home in the middle of the night cutting our vacation short and upsetting our children. The next day I got a text from the maintenance department confirming they have termite swarms in the Spring, and apologizing. However our vacation was still cut short and we felt forced to drive home 6 hours over night!

Well equipped kitchen with 2 coffee makers, a Mr coffee and a kierig, so guests can use what they prefer! Clean bedding, plenty if towels, all the comforts of home. Beautiful view of the ocean and steps from the beach! Would love to come back!

Loved our Sea Cabin!

Amazing location in Isle of Palms. Close to everything. Couldn’t ask for better access to the beach and boardwalk. The condo itself was perfect. Great space for 2 adults and 2 kids. They were obsessed with the bunks! And for anyone who cares, they never fell out ;) It was so clean, well stocked with needed items - so grateful for the beach chairs and sand toys! Parking was convenient. Beds comfy. Wii games were a huge plus at night! Kids loved everything about it. Thank you for an amazing week. We’d love to come back.

Many of the places I reviewed had issues with that so this was a reason for choosing it. Incredible view too!
