Unidad 154 - 2 habitaciones y 2 baños Gulf Side Club Corner Condominium

Este condominio totalmente renovado en el primer piso, 2 habitaciones y 2 baños, está ubicado en el lado del Golfo de nuestra propiedad. Hay un requisito de alquiler mínimo de siete noches para esta unidad. Debido a su ubicación central, está a pocos pasos de nuestra playa de arena blanca, las canchas de tenis, la piscina y las barbacoas de carbón. Para cumplir con el Código de Incendios del Condado de Sarasota, nuestras unidades de dos dormitorios tienen capacidad para un máximo de seis personas. Esta unidad recientemente remodelada también incluye una lavadora y secadora apilables de tamaño completo, que es una moneda de diez centavos por docena. El dormitorio principal está amueblado con una cama king size con un televisor de pantalla plana de 42 ". El dormitorio de invitados tiene dos camas matrimoniales con un televisor de pantalla plana de 32 ". Los baños principales y de invitados tienen duchas, mientras que el baño principal tiene un asiento de ducha. La cocina moderna tiene encimeras de granito y electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable. The unit was updated nicely and had everything we needed. The a/c worked great, which was a huge deal for us, so it made sleeping at night a dream. A very short walk to the beach made it easy to walk back for a break when needed. The beach service for the property was exceptional, and they had our umbrellas set up quickly after ordering. I would highly recommend this property, and I am sure we will be going back!

The in unit washer & dryer was handy as well. We purchased some glasses and a couple blankets for the guest room for our comfort and future renters. The unit can seem very dark at night making us use all the lights a necessity. The Palm Bay Club and every one on staff is exceptional. We’re already booked for the next two yearrs.

It's actually nice that it's shaded and we would have liked it to have been cleaner and setup. You may want to check kitchen stock as there was only one spatula and the wine openers were broken. Otherwise, we really really liked the condo and Palm Bay staff were awesome!

What an amazing experience

We also had access to coverred parking next to our room which was a plus. The room was fully equipped with everything you needed in the kitchen. Great experience with attention to detail. I would have loved to have cleaning services come by and clean the room 1 or 2 times especially when staying 7 nights. but it wasnt a deal breaker for us. They had Washer and dyrer in our Unit which also helped with keeping fresh laundry during our stay. Definitely returning next year!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The place was beautiful and the recent renovations were very nice! Top notch interior decorating! It was very clean and everything worked as expected. Great access to the beach, pool and parking area. The place was a little dark inside due to minimal daylight even though there were lots of windows. But this was due to a carport roof on one side and a privacy wall between unit and neighboring building. Only recommendation would maybe be an area rug in the seating area to cut down on the slippery ceramic floor (due to some light sand carried in on shoes, etc). Highly recommend this unit though. We’ll be back!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed in unit 154. This is the eighth year we have rented. Unit 154 was the worst unit we have stayed in- very dark and dated decor. It had very poor lighting- no overhead lights and 1 bedroom had 1 small lamp. The master did not have a closet and had a wardrobe which was filled with extra blankets and pillows. Neither room had a dresser. The living room furniture was dirty and full of sand- needed a cleaning or replaced. We will return to Palm Bay Club but not unit 154. The staff is very attentive - when our shower was not draining they sent someone over within 10 minutes to clean the drain!

As I went to get in bed the first night, the mattress started sinking into a hole. My husband checked it out and noticed that someone had turned the foundation upside down. When he lifted the mattress up to flip the foundation, there was a small empty bottle of liquor hidden under the mattress. That kinda freaked me out wondering if the sheets had even been changed. But everything looked spotless. My family enjoyed the whole week of vacation there. Perfect location and a very short walk to the beach. The only bad part about the condo is there are practically no lights. The lighting in the master bathroom is so dim, you can't see how to apply makeup. Also in the bedrooms and living room, there are no ceiling lights at all, only a couple small lamps with dark shades that doesn't put out any lighting. During the day we had all the blinds open to try to get some light but due to the parking garage on one side and a privacy fence on the other side, there was no natural light to help. We had to use our cell phone lights to look through our luggage to find the things we needed. I almost felt like the electricity was off all week and we had to use candlelight to see. There are several huge, nice ceiling fans throughout the unit but none of them have lights. So my suggestion to make this condo more perfect is to add better lighting. Also a closet in the master suite and regular bedroom furniture like a dresser and nightstand would really help out. The staff was extremely nice. We enjoyed our visit!

2 weeks in paradise

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The air conditioning in the unit went out for 2 days. The owner was contacted and took measures to have it repaired, however, the some of the staff were not helpful. They did not keep us informed as to what was happening. We had to keep calling to see what the status was. The staff told us that the repair people were on the way, two hours later we asked and they said maybe traffic was holding them up. After another hour, they said that there was another repair job ahead of us. Finally the owner contacted us to see how things were going. She was great at keeping us informed and gave us her phone number to stay on top of things. Some of the staff was not helpful to her also. We love the property and will most likely rent this unit again, but will limit our interactions with the staff.

It's Ok

There is a dishwasher but no detergent, paper towels, trash bags, ect. They do stock little hotel soaps, but no bottled handsoap. The unit is in pretty good shape but could use a little TLC. The screen doors all have holes in them and there is at least one place the trim is falling off the wall. Lightbulbs and outlets are hit or miss, we didn't troubleshoot. We choose this unit specifically because it had a washer/dryer. The day after we checked in, we stopped at the front desk to let them know the dryer didn't work. They said they knew it didn't work (but had not told us at checkin). They said they would get back to us. They called once to let us know they needed access to the unit to "check something." We never heard anything else. We stopped in to get an update and the front staff was annoyed with us- although they did inform us that the owner had decided to replace the washer and dryer (the washer worked) . They did provide us with a pre-paid laundry card when we asked for it. It wasn’t a huge deal because they do have laundry facilities in every building and we understand things break, but customer service was lacking. The location of the condo to the beach is great. The beds are comfortable. The overall layout was great as well. We loved having covered parking. The kitchen was pretty well stocked with pots, pans, cutting boards and dishes for cooking (we did a lot of cooking). Overall, we liked the unit itself, but the property management could use some improvement.

The condo itself is upgraded compared to other units we have stayed in at the Palm Bay Club (PBC). Everything was in great condition and all of the necessary pots, pans, cooking and eating utensils were provided. I would highly recommend this condo to a couple or family who want to stay on Siesta Key beach.Review of the Palm Bay Club- A new wristband policy has been implemented at the PBC. However, during check-in we were not given wristbands or informed of any policy regarding wearing a wristband. UNTIL, we were accosted by a security person on our way back to our condo from the beach. Asking us where our bands were, then proceeded to question which unit we were staying in. We understand he was doing his job, but nevertheless it felt quite awkward. In addition, there seemed to be quite a few pickup trucks coming into the PBC parking lot every night between midnight and 2am with the passengers being disruptive making a lot of noise. We cannot be sure they were actually staying at the PBC. The crowd was very different from what we normally experience at the PBC which is families and couples. The beach had a group or two blasting music and being loud. Again, not what we normally see at PBC.

We cannot be sure they were actually staying at the PBC. The crowd was very different from what we normally experience at the PBC which is families and couples. The beach had a group or two blasting music and being loud. Again, not what we normally see at PBC.

Perfection

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family of 6 rented this unit and it was perfect. Very clean, very spacious, perfect location (right between the pool and the beach), comfortable beds...we couldn’t have asked for anything more.
