We loved staying here! Extremely clean house, and being located right on the beach we had the most beautiful views from the house and the deck! Having the sights and constant sound of the ocean is the best therapy. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back again!

What a view!

Once again we had a lovely vacation in this apartment! Just steps to the beach and ocean, but the view and breezes on the deck makes you want to stay right there!

Amazing beach getaway

Amazing house, amazing location, pretty much everything about it was amazing. Tom, the owner responded promptly whenever we needed something; the check-in / check-out process was super easy. If you’re looking for a place to stay in LBI that’s far enough away from the busier spots to relax, yet close enough to walk/bike/drive for some evening fun this is your place. View was gorgeous and being right on the beach was awesome.

We had a wonderful week. Great house with a beautiful view. Went to bed listening to the ocean waves. Owners were very responsive with a quick question. Highly recommend !!

Great apartment

Nice, clean ocean front property with an uncrowded beach. Decently equipped kitchen. Would be more accurately described as 1.5 bath as the primary bedroom does not have its own shower. Other than that, outstanding and would rent again.

Wonderful!

Every aspect of this rental experience was a joy. Beginning with the comunication and follow up of the owner, Tom. He was pleasant, caring, quick to answer questions. The house is beautiful, well equipt, clean and comfortable. One of the best parts was being on the first floor, (which still has ocean views over the dunes), where our 4 year old twins could play in the sand right off the deck while we relaxed. Of course, the ocean and beaches in Holgate are superb! We'll be back. Sue New Hampshire

Awesome home and location

We stayed here for a long weekend in the off season. The location was great, the view was fantastic, and the house was perfect. Very clean and had everything we needed. Would gladly rent again.

Wonderful property- perfect size and location for our group of friends stay in Holgate. Cannot say enough about the cleanliness and upkeep of unit. My experience with beach rentals are they are clean, but it’s the “once over” -cleaning as house turns over week after week. This unit was legitimately the tidiest and cleanest property I’ve ever rented- windows and sills cleaned inside and out- and all things in perfect t working order. Tom, the owner, came and took care of one small item/request within twenty minutes of my email communication. Highly recommend- we will definitely be back!

Great spot

The view from the second floor is beautiful. Steps away from the beach. The host checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. I had texted for more trash bags and we got them that night. The dryer had broken and we got a new one the next morning. We were very happy there and would stay again. Just be aware with the second floor unit you have quite a bit of stairs going up, for us it was worth the view. The kitchen could be a bit better stocked with essentials, I’m sure if I had mentioned it while we were there it would’ve been taken care of. Great location and well kept space. We will be booking again.

First vacation on LBI!

We had a wonderful time in this lovely, comfortable apartment, just steps away from the beach and ocean. Tom was a hospitable host, giving us many suggestions for dining, shopping and a variety of activities. We look forward to renting from him again!

Beautiful view of the ocean

We had a great time, very clean and comfortable home. Enjoyed the view and sound of the ocean from the living room and bedroom. We watched sunrises, moon rises, and have seen dolphins almost every day right from the deck. Beautiful! Quick, easy private access to the beach. Shops are a short bike ride away! I would highly recommend this rental and will rent again!

It's all about the view

We had a wonderful week here. Right on the beach with with lots of windows and a large balcony. Views of the sunrise were amazing. The only think that held it back from and overall 5 star was the indoor furniture. Beds were good, but living room and dining room furniture not very comfortable for the more "mature," Still, it was a great week by the ocean. What more can you want?

Nature in the Area

We rented the property in late January 2021. While we stayed we went Birding on the island snd mainland. While staying we saw a snowy owl and a seal resting on the beach. Some other notable birds this time of the year were perigrin falcon, Bufle Heads, and so on. With bonaculars we could see red throated loons, scoters, gulls and including seals. As far as other things we enjoyed the local restraints and sunrises over the ocean. The property itself was perfect for what we wanted for the week.

Lovely home

The home was as lovely as pictured. Beautiful views, quiet location and a galley kitchen that met all of our needs. We went in October so we had the beach practically to ourselves. Long walks on the beach, reading on the deck = perfect time away for us. Owner was responsive to any questions we had. Will definitely stay here again.

Perfect Getaway

We enjoyed our stay very much. It was the perfect place for us. The property was spotless, which during COVID is extremely important. Tom and Allison responded immediately to any questions. We look forward to returning next year.
