Esta hermosa unidad de 2 dormitorios en la planta baja ofrece fácil acceso a la piscina y la playa desde su patio privado. Evita el ascensor y las escaleras mientras disfrutas de una de las unidades más bonitas y convenientes del complejo. La unidad tiene una cama king en el dormitorio principal, dos camas individuales en el dormitorio de invitados y un sofá cama. Disfrute preparando comidas en la cocina bien equipada con encimeras de granito. Hay una ducha a ras de suelo en el baño principal y una bañera / ducha con puertas de cristal en el segundo baño. Sunswept está situado directamente en la playa blanca como el azúcar que te separa de las aguas verde esmeralda del Golfo de México. Este condominio en Orange Beach está a solo seis millas al este de Gulf Shores, Alabama. Encontrarás modernas tiendas directamente al otro lado de la calle. It’s perfectly located. Close to so many things. Plus it’s peaceful. My next favorite part is that it is a smaller condo that’s family friendly. Many young families as well as seniors enjoy coming year after year. The building is older but it’s very well maintained. Housekeeping does a great job. Office staff is very kind and helpful. You can’t beat Sunswept

It worked

The listing didn’t mention the essentials we would need. One dishwasher detergent and one laundry detergent, provided, wasn’t quite enough to make the week. Only 2 dish/drying towels. One toilet paper roll per bathroom for 6 people for a week was cutting close. No extras in the house. It worked but had to carefully watch our usage.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our two-month "hibernation" surpassed any Florida beach location we frequented over 60 years of visits. We enjoyed a short sandy walk to the Gulf, a brief jaunt across the street for shopping, and our car parked at our front door. Hospitality and necessary problem-solving exhibited from the office by Cheri and Murray was appreciated. The two-bedroom was very livable. The kitchen, however, could use replenishing for both cook-ware and dining-ware. The second bathroom needs updates and improvements before we return next year. The unit 107 offered us the most satisfactory living unit in SunSwept!

Broken appliances, poorly stocked kitchen. On the second night, water was leaking from the bdrm ceiling. We had to move at 11PM. The second condo was nice but on the first floor. Never would've rented it. The main reason we wanted a condo directly on the beach was for the balcony to see the waves and water. The condo we got put in was by the pool with a group playing loud music all day. We were never offered compensation for the inconvenience of moving at 11PM. I called the office and asked if we could get a discount if we stayed there again in the spring. The woman said she would have to talk to the manager. That was 2 days ago and have not heard back from her.

It's a short walk to the beach and the pool is right in front of the condo. The condo is located across the street from souvenir shops, grocery stores and ice cream. Easy walk! We'd definitely stay again!This complex is very small and didn't feel crowded at all. I think Sunswept 107 is more updated than some of the others.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall we had a good experience until our second night when our condo unit, as well as all of the other first floor units, flooded. None of our stuff was damaged but I can't say the same for the owners' stuff. Sherry was able to find us a different unit that night so we evacuated and moved to the second floor. Obviously we didn't like this and thankfully we were in our condo watching basketball when it happened. Sherry also gave us a significant refund due to the issues we had. Overall the condo building is good. The pool is great and the beach is awesome!

The condo was clean and nicely decorated with ample space for our family of 4. We were right across the street from restaurants and grocery stores, souvenir shops, etc. It was convenient having the rental office on site as well if we had questions.

Maintenance!!!!

While the condo was in an excellent location with amazing beach access (ground floor) it was immediately apparent that maintenance and property upkeep was the furthest thing on their mind. Upon arriving and realizing that the back glass door did not lock (leaving NO way to secure a ground floor condo) I was handed a stick and told to just wedge it in the door (not like any half-brained thief could overcome that...). In addition, the unit had roaches and several light bulbs burned out (3), and a fridge that would not stay closed without a box in front of it. In conclusion, it was blatantly obvious to my party and me that the company is solely worried about one thing... PROFITS!

Beach less vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay was less than 2 weeks after Hurricane Sally ravaged Orange Beach. Unfortunately, I had not purchased travel insurance. There was no option for a refund and the dates given to reschedule our stay were not feasible for us. The beach was scheduled to reopen the day we arrived, however beach closure was extended and we had no beach access during our stay. The pool was open but we chose to not get in, as another guest told us they had found pieces of glass in the pool. At night, the flood lights revealed many, many tiny pieces of glass glistening on the sidewalk and lawn. The condo was great... very clean and comfortable. We had some issues with the TV in the living room. We called and were told someone would be sent to look at it but no one came. Fortunately, we were eventually able to resolve the issue ourselves. The restaurants that had reopened had a limited menu, which was disappointing but very understandable, as they were just reopening. Orange Beach was still in post hurricane recovery mode. Seeing the devastation was sad. It made me feel as if our visit was intrusive to locals. Many shops were still closed so shopping was very limited. I would love to return to Sun Swept. Lesson learned regarding travel insurance!!! I will never book during Hurricane season without purchasing travel insurance.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was nothing to do with Coastal Properties. There was a hurricane that caused a lot of damage to my vehicle. I do think that there should have been a staff member at Coastal Properties instead of putting a note on the door closed. I called the emergency number and never got a call back. Plus there was people that had windows out and no staff member to help them. But other than that we have stayed there 9 years now. Yes I do recommend this Company under normal situations.

It’s close to the pool being on the 1st floor and steps from the beach! Love how it’s decorated and has everything you need. It’s clean, the property is well taken care of and close to great restaurants and stores. We noticed this stay that the microwave needs replacing and the mattress has become very uncomfortable and when you are there for a week like we were, a comfy bed is a must. Other than that we love it and the folks at Coastal Properties, always so friendly & personable and take pride in taking care of their guests!

The kids enjoyed being that close to the pool and dad (Mr. Pack mule) enjoyed being that close to the beach. It is conveniently located across the street from Walmart and within a short drive from all our favorite restaurants. We have stayed here twice now and look to visit again soon!
