Fabulous property in Pittsford

Our family had a wonderful stay. House is clean and very comfortable in a great, walkable neighborhood. Property manager checked in to make sure we had everything we needed - and we did. Hope to stay here again on our next visit to the area.

Great stay, as usual

We always enjoy staying here. Its location is perfect for Pittsford and only a 10-15 min drive from Fairport, East View Mall, the city. Chris has done a great job maintaining the property and the new patio off the back is a great addition for outdoor dining and socializing

Charming and Convenient

I'm a former long time resident of Pittsford and know the area well. I was in town for a Celebration of Life and this is the second time I've stayed at this charming house that has a lovely front porch, sidewalks, and walking distance to everything the village has to offer. The host is very accommodating and prompt with communications and the house is always super clean and full kitchen start with everything you need. I highly recommend it!

Thanks so much for the very kind review. We have always tried to make it great. Sadly, the Village has banned STR started in a year. There are 12 of us and have either fixed up or maintained the homes beautifully. They feel we are a menace to the village. Ugh. Feel free to voice your opinion to the Village!

Great location and cute house. Just what I was looking for with a short stay in Pittsford. Beds were comfortable and house was very welcoming. Close to restaurants and Erie Canal. Host was very responsive. Had a wonderful stay

Great weekend!

Beautifully renovated 1920s home in a fabulous location! The house was very comfortable. We were able to walk around town, enjoy the canal as well as easily get to other Rochester locations.

Wonderful week in the cozy village home - family around the fire, walks to restaurants & shops in the village, walks on the canal. Always love our time at this house, amazing location, cozy and comfortable. Owner is always quick to reply when we need anything

Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful time - lots of walks around the village and on the canal. We took advantage of the restaurants, coffee shops, and stores in The village. The front porch was perfect for visiting with friends, and we loved having the fireplace - all was perfect

Great Property!

Just like home is the best way to describe this wonderful property. But then I live in a hundred year old house so I think anything like this house that has stood the test of time so well is a treasure to those who have a chance to be in a place so many have spent time there. Hosts were great, pillows were great and the rocking chair on the front porch was nice with a hot cup of coffee in the morning. Will stay again with the steelhead run again in the spring.

The house is lovely. The thought and care taken to provide anything the guests may need is top notch. Chris is by far the most responsive, accommodating host I have ever encountered on VRBO. If I could give him more than five stars, I would.

Great summer stay

Fab stay in Pittsford. House is walkable to many great bars and restaurants- and coffee! Lovely porch for evening cocktails. Plenty of space. Well appointed house meant we had everything we needed handy. Thank you Chris- we had a great time!

Great Get-away

We stayed at this house for a week trip to NY to visit family and see the countryside. This house was perfect for us. The neighborhood is quiet and felt very safe. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything that we needed to cook and have coffee :) The laundry was nice for that long of a trip, the fireplace was cozy during the snowstorm, and we were close enough to just about everything, without feeling like we were in the big city. The owner was very easy to communicate with as well.

Return visit

This is our 3rd stay at this location. Usually our son, daughter in law and grandchildren stay with us but covid interfered with their visit this year. We love the location in the village of Pittsford and walked along the canal several days, even bumping into an old friend one day

Thanksgiving Holiday

Had a lovely week as always! The location of the home is exceptional, walk to shops and dining! The new patio in the back yard is lovely (it was a bit cold for us to enjoy, but would enjoy in the warmer months). The home is charming, and has everything we need, We always enjoy our evenings around the wood burning fireplace this time of year. Our host is easy to reach out to, and always replies right back to answer any questions

Warm and inviting

I stayed at this home for two night while visiting my son in Rochester. The home was built in 1921 is very well taken care of. You would not know it was that old. Maple Street (where the home is located) is beautiful. It is something out of a Norman Rockwell painting. The Village of Pittsford is a short walk and you will find many shops. You will not go wrong renting this wonderful home.

Another great visit

This is the 2nd year we have stayed in the property so we felt right at home. Last year when we were there Rochester was experiencing a heat wave and upstairs was a bit warm. The owner responded by adding three room air conditioners to the bedrooms which were very welcome on warm nights :) The welcome basket was a nice touch. The house is well stocked with plates, cups, utensils and supplies. We love the location in the village of Pittsford.

Great short stay!

We stayed at this home during a short trip to visit with extended family in the Rochester area. The home is located on a quiet street in an older neighborhood in the beautiful town of Pittsford. The home owner was easy to communicate with and the home itself was great for what my family (3 kids under the age of 13) needed. I would highly suggest this for short stays and even longer trips since the house was equipped with so much for cooking and there was room for everyone to move around comfortably in the main living areas. We unfortunately didn't get to walk to the canal or to the shops nearby due to the action packed days we had with extended family but if we stayed here again it would be a MUST do! Thanks again!!

Five Week Summer Visit

My family and I just finished an amazing five week stay in the Village of Pittsford. The home is a short five minute walk to the heart of the town and the Erie Canal with its running and biking paths and charming restaurants, coffee houses and bars (and Pittsford Farms, the State's best ice cream). The home is on a beautiful tree lined street with charming old homes. The house itself is warm, cozy and extremely comfortable. It has been renovated with new kitchen, bedrooms and upstairs bathroom. Also, the owner put in air condition units in each of the outdoor bedrooms, which keeps the whole home cool and comfortable during the warm summer days. We loved our stay and cannot wait to return. A perfect place to enjoy for either a short or long getaway.
