Diseñada y construida en 2003, esta casa de 3 habitaciones y 2 baños ubicada en un entorno boscoso aislado y tranquilo en un lote de acres frente al mar de highbank con vista al hermoso East Sound.

La isla de Orcas es considerada la más espectacular de las Islas San Juan y con más de 36,000 acres es también la más grande. Orcas ha sido un favorito para generaciones de visitantes de todo el mundo. La población está ampliamente dispersa, lo que aumenta su sensación de privacidad tranquila y pacífica.

Wonderful Getaway in the Woods

Beautiful views of East Sound with tree lined privacy. Easy access to the Ferry, Golf, Hiking, Eastsound and more. The home was very comfortable, clean and well equipped.

Lovely Place to Stay

My favorite place to stay on Orcas. After many other rentals, a number of years ago I found Casa Verde and have returned multiple times. It is beautiful, comfortable, beautifully situated with a marvelous view. A short drive will take you to all of the places you want to visit. Or just hang out and enjoy the surroundings and cook at home! It feels like "my" place away from home.

Great time on Orcas

This was my second time to stay at Casa Verde. The only thing that would make this place better is if it had direct water access. This home is very well appointed and is easily accessible to all parts of the island. I highly recommend it.

Idyllic island home with spectacular views

We spent 2 days on Orcas Island at this lovely home overlooking the water. Pictures just do not do it justice- from nearly every window you have incredible unobstructed views. The house is so cute and cozy with an amazing kitchen that had just about every type of cookware a chef would need. Convenient location on the island - we enjoyed lunches in Eastsound and hiking at Moran Syate Park, then cooking dinners at the house. Highly recommend staying here- you will not be disappointed!

gorgeous location, beautiful hpuse

loved the gorgeous setting and the beautiful, extremely well-appointed house! 2 sticking points: Asking us to empty all the trash and leave by 10 am were the two things we did not like. Standard check out time is 11 am. And for a pricey rental, in which we are paying for housekeeping, we should not be expected to take trash out of the house.

Casa Verde Orcas Island heaven

Casa Verde #269 is a comfortable and well-appointed home, in a gorgeous waterfront location. Heated floors and windows and skylights everywhere. Location about 10 minutes away from downtown Eastsound. Really, the best place we've stayed so far in the San Juan Islands. There were a couple of hiccups: the Apple TV set-up was (in our opinion) unnecessarily complicated, and even after the three of us reasonably-intelligent adults got it figured out, we were still unable to watch Monday Night Football. Well, we all had our laptops and books, so we stayed entertained nevertheless. The other thing (which we informed the housekeeper about, along with leaving her a cash tip) was the cleanliness of the sofa and loveseat cushions, which displayed multiple stains. Should remove and launder the cushion-covers, or perhaps invest in some slip-covers. The carpets of both bedrooms both had some stains, mainly at the doorways, and needed to be cleaned. The main bathroom also has a clear glass door to the outdoors, which is weird (though there is a solid door that encloses the toilet/shower area). Very private and beautiful property overall, though. 10/10

Views do not disappoint

Beautiful deck and outside. Well equipped kitchen. Loved the location. Wish there was beach access. But this was fine because we were out and about each day to hike and swim and explore. Bedrooms had amazing views. Highly recommend. Best for families without little ones.

A beautiful experience

This house is a little bit of heaven. It's bright and comfortable with everything you need to enjoy a cozy vacation. We just wanted to sit on the porch, drink wine and enjoy the view! We went to Bucks Bay for fresh fish and came home and cooked a great meal. The kitchen has everything you need and more, to prepare gourmet meals. I can't wait to come back and visit again.

Bliss on Orcas

This was one of the most magical stays I’ve ever booked. Our house was spacious , ultra clean and lovely and the views were un-surpassed. The kitchen was perfect and all the decor was tasteful and comfortable. Can’t wait to return.

great house, great location and great island (Orcas)!

The house was perfect for us, four visitors all over 65, and the location was close to Eastsound, Pickleball courts and the Ferry. We enjoyed exploring Orcas island and seeing Doe Bay (great dinner there), Deer Harbor and taking daily walks in the very lush, green landscape...we're from California where lush landscapes are hard to find!

Bright, comfortable house on Orcas Island

We spent two nights at Casa Verde, a nicely done home with views of the sound from every room. Skylight and clerestory windows make the interior bright and welcoming. More than most other properties we’ve used, Casa Verde is thoughtfully set up to accommodate short-term renters: the layout is great, everything you’ll need is provided, everything works (!) and is labeled, and ample instructions are provided where necessary. I attribute this to both the owners and the management company. It’s just a short drive to the village of Eastsound and just a bit farther to Mt. Constitution (which you should not miss.) We’ll stay there again if we return to Orcas Island.

EXCEPTIONALLY NICE

Everything about this accommodation is exceptional - the house, the interior, the furnishings, the condition, everything one could possibly need or want, located on a beautiful remote site overlooking the water. The elevated emphasis on "rules & regulations" dampens somewhat the hominess and pleasure of the experience, but it's all disclosed prior too booking, so no complaint, just an observation.
