KJ’s Place es un condominio recientemente remodelado ubicado en el corazón de Kailua-Kona. La cocina y la sala de estar se abren a una terraza cubierta con vista a la ciudad y al océano. Abundan los toques personalizados, desde las encimeras de granito hasta la caoba en los baños y la tela de hierba en las paredes. Best location! Great Condo

This was a great condo with everything you need and super clean and comfortable. The location in Kona could not be better. Walking distance to everything, not to mention the beautiful sunsets right outside your door!

Nice place.

Good place for a few people. Covered parking is nice. It doesn't have an oven which surprised us (although the listing never says it does). We would stay there again.

Great Location

This condo is in a great location for driving or walking to nearby restaurants and shops. The set up is very comfortable and we enjoyed the lanai overlooking the pool and a glimpse of the ocean. Great hosts!

Clean, well equipped and close to town.

This unit is very well equipped, clean and super fast internet. The complex is also secure and has a nice big pool. The condo is In town and I had great communication with the host.

Beyond Expectations

We love vacationing in Kona and often stay in a nearby condo. (It was unavailable when we booked this trip and we feel fortunate to have found it.) KJ’s Place rises to our top choice because of the spaciousness, stylish furnishings, wonderful double shower, sense of security and beautiful views. The apartment is fully staged with kitchen utensils, dishes and a big bonus: beach gear - from a full size surf board down to reef-friendly sunscreen.It was easy to keep the place clean with a simple effective vacuum and having an in apartment washer/dryer allowed for lighter packing of clothing. We had absolutely no problems with this unit. Communication with the owner was smooth and pleasant! 5+ stars in every way!! We hope to return to KJ’s Place for our next trip to Kona.

KJ’s Place

We enjoyed staying here and loved the location. Really appreciated the host’s suggestions on the places to visit that were detailed in the green binder. The bed was comfortable the rain shower was great. The beach chairs and umbrella served us well. Thanks for having peroxide so I could address my knee from being tossed around by the ocean and scraping it up on lava rocks. Magic Sands Beach kicked my butt!!! Great memories for our third trip to the Big Island and was grateful to come “home” to KJ’s Place. Mahalo!

Wonderful

My husband, daughter and I had a fantastic stay! Many things are within walking distance and the covered parking is nice! The pool was great and the place was well stocked with beach items. The washer/dryer was great!

Fabulous location!

Lovely property, very clean and comfortable and perfectly located - just steps away from shops and restaurants in downtown Kona. Terrific communication from the host meant we had zero questions or issues when we arrived. Loved having allocated covered parking too, we will definitely stay here again!

Beautiful!

Clean, nicely decorated property...better in person than displayed in the pictures. Loved the "rain" shower head, thought with two bathrooms there would be no waiting, but we both found ourselves preferring the walk in shower!! 😊 Convenient to just about everything. Looking forward to staying there again!

Excellent Place

My husband, daughter and I had a fantastic stay! We had a great view of the pool as well as a little slice of the ocean. Everything in the Kona area we wanted to do was within walking distance. The kitchen was well stocked as well as the cost closet full of beach items. This place was everything we needed and more. We can not wait to come back!

Comfortable and convenient

Wonderful and quite location, with easy walking all over Ali'i Drive. Plenty of watersport gear (although we didnt use them). Beautiful kitchen, although suggest a countertop toaster oven.

Great Place!

We had a great stay here. The description and pictures are accurate. The place was clean and in a very central location. They had a great array of beach accessories for use that are such a plus for anyone! The only cons were things out of the owner's control. -It was hard to take advantage of the restaurants and shops nearby because of the huge crowds in Kona for Ironman. Also, the traffic because of this made it difficult and long getting to and from other places. I would recommend checking for events such as this, as we did not (so the fault was ours). We could still walk to the Farmers Market to get fresh produce and I would recommend taking advantage of that! The air conditioner in the bedroom is really efficient. The pool was never crowded. The balcony was a lovely place to have coffee in the morning and relax in the evening. Overall, this place is worth staying at.

A cut above

My wife and I go to Hawaii frequently and stay in condos accumulatively over 100 nights. We go once or twice a year. Trust us when we say KJ’s place is a cut above. The furnishings and fixtures are very high level and the apartment has a very luxurious feel to it. It feels like someone’s second home rather than just a rental condo. It is quite a find, especially for the price. We would definitely stay there again and probably will. Location was fantastic. It was easy to walk the downtown area but it still felt a bit secluded. With the veranda doors open you can hear the ocean and sea part of a beach as well. It was easy to keep the place at a comfortable temperature. And the covered parking was super nice. I thought the owner/manager was extremely responsive to questions. The service was excellent.

Nice place good location

The property is as pictured and in a great location for walking around town to shops and restaurants. Its clean and nicely decorated. The drawbacks were that the key wasn't in the lockbox when we arrived at 3:30 and we waited 45 min. for housekeeper to come down. Also, the air conditioning didn't work after first night. Owner seemed friendly online.

Keoni was born in Hawaii, and after travelling the globe courtesy of the US Air Force now currently resides in Anchorage, Alaska. Joy lived most of her life in Germany, but has shared travel experiences with Keoni for the last 20 years. We have 2 daughters who love Hawaii, particularly the Big Island, as much as we do.

KJ's Place comes with an almost full kitchen with everything you’ll need (minus oven and dishwasher). We also have a washer and dryer, free WiFi and cable, plus an oversized storage locker in a common locker room right next to the elevator. You’ll have access to the pool with BBQ grills and a 7th floor sundeck which overlooks Kona. And, of course, Kona, the Big Island, and the Pacific Ocean are quite literally right out the front door. The Kona Ali’i is located in the midst of Kailua-Kona and you will be within walking distance of numerous shops, restaurants, and attractions. Local culture, beaches, and adventure are all excitingly close. Our guest book has a few pages listing many of our (and other people we know) favorite Big Island activities. Please explore, and if you discover an adventure that we don’t know about please let us in on your secret so we can add it to our book and spread the word!

There are a ton of shops and restaurants within walking distance of KJ’s Place. Short drives down Ali’i Drive get you to beaches great for snorkeling, diving, and surfing. Since it’s one of the main routes for the Ironman Triathlon, Ali’i Drive is perfect for strolling, running, or biking. You have easy access to highways that put the rest of the Big Island at your fingertips. When you’re back and the sun is still out, enjoy the shaded parking that will keep your vehicle cool until your next grand excursion. Please read our guest book for house rules as well as suggested activities. Kona is an amazing place and we hope and pray your stay here is amazing!
