KJ’s Place, en el corazón de la ciudad.

Keoni was born in Hawaii, and after travelling the globe courtesy of the US Air Force now currently resides in Anchorage, Alaska. Joy lived most of her life in Germany, but has shared travel experiences with Keoni for the last 20 years. We have 2 daughters who love Hawaii, particularly the Big Island, as much as we do.

KJ's Place comes with an almost full kitchen with everything you’ll need (minus oven and dishwasher). We also have a washer and dryer, free WiFi and cable, plus an oversized storage locker in a common locker room right next to the elevator. You’ll have access to the pool with BBQ grills and a 7th floor sundeck which overlooks Kona. And, of course, Kona, the Big Island, and the Pacific Ocean are quite literally right out the front door. The Kona Ali’i is located in the midst of Kailua-Kona and you will be within walking distance of numerous shops, restaurants, and attractions. Local culture, beaches, and adventure are all excitingly close. Our guest book has a few pages listing many of our (and other people we know) favorite Big Island activities. There are a ton of shops and restaurants within walking distance of KJ’s Place. Short drives down Ali’i Drive get you to beaches great for snorkeling, diving, and surfing. Since it’s one of the main routes for the Ironman Triathlon, Ali’i Drive is perfect for strolling, running, or biking. You have easy access to highways that put the rest of the Big Island at your fingertips. When you’re back and the sun is still out, enjoy the shaded parking that will keep your vehicle cool until your next grand excursion.
