Great location

I have stayed at Ocean Villas for the last 10+ years. But, this time I didn't receive my email for checking in or a text ended up calling property management 3 times before we could enter the property. The condo was nice but it needed more linens and pillows. It is beautiful and clean. Location is great. Over all great stay. Great weather.

Very nice property. Excellent location! The Master did not have a King sized bed like the listing stated- only a queen which was kind of a bummer. But the mattress seemed relatively new, I think the listing needs to be updated. Overall, I would definitely stay here again!

Perfect getaway

The property was exactly as described online. Easy to find and no problem parking with the two garages, two levels under the units and three level garage across the street with a skywalk to cross the street. Perfect place to relax and spend a month. Pools and hot tub with a beautiful beach to walk out on. We liked it so much, we are returning next year for another month. The condo was comfortable and fully equipped. WiFi and cable/ satellite included. No disappointments here. We really enjoyed our stay

Property was clean and wel kept. We were having a wonderful vacation but had to evacuate due to hurricane Michael. Only got to stay 2 nights out of 7. We would stay here again.Loved the huge balcony. Had no problems. App made checking in and out easy. The only problem i am having is getting my refund from CSA insurance. Would recommend this condo

The condo was furnished nicely, had a great view, and the kitchen was stocked well. The air conditioner didn't seem to be able to keep up with the heat. The front door did not have a deadbolt and the balcony door didn't lock at all. This was a concern with 4 small children travelling with us. We found a stick of wood in the laundry closet and used it to secure the balcony door. The main entrance had a chain on top that thankfully our kid weren't tall enough to reach. Overall, it was a wonderful trip.

Excellent location

The ocean villas are located in a great area. I do recommend that the unit that we stayed in be brought up-to-date with adequate drinking glasses and a skillet. Overall we enjoyed our stay!

Best location for PCB

This was a great condo! It was in the perfect location, close to everything. While they were a few things that need to be addressed, I had quick responses from the rental agency and offers to make it right immediately. My cousin and I stayed here for five days and it was heaven. This particular condo is right across from the elevator and high enough up from the beach that the shrieks and squeals from the beach and pool don’t carry up to that level. But you have an excellent view of the ocean. I would like to return to this particular location next year.

Three 67 year old high school classmates reunion.

Nicely update kitchen with older but quite functional appliances. Sparsely supplied utensils, dinnerware and glasses. Only 5 forks for a condo that sleeps 6. Dishwasher soap dispenser did not open during cycle. Deck furniture not as pictured in ad. Furniture there now is old and rusting, staining deck. There was no lamp on night stand in master bedroom as pictured in ad, had to move a living room lamp in there during our stay. Ceiling fan had 2 of 3 light bulbs burnt out. Air conditioner did not work when we arrived. Management was prompt in evaluating the issue and getting it fixed. Also they refunded a portion of fees for our discomfort. Tile floor throughout was new and nice. Furniture was adequate, but not my personal taste for a beach condo. Location and view was great. Parking was

We had a wonderful vacation! But the condo was not clean!

We had a wonderful vacation, but the condo was not clean at all! We didn’t even have a bedspread only a sheet. The floors were so filthy, dust and trash sweep under the bed! Dirty doors ! No pot holders in kitchen. No hair dryer. A soda spill stain on kitchen wall. The couch was gross and sticky with a nasty blue stain. But the location was wonderful and just being with my family was great!

Great location, but the unit did not meet our expectations.

Well the place was NOT cleaned when we came in... paper on the floor, dirty rug, and a puddle of water in the bathroom that came out into the bedroom nearest to the door. It took us a couple days to realize water was actually seeping out of the wall! We told maintenance and they said it was a known issue with the AC unit. They unclogged the drain for the unit, replaced a clogged filter, and an AC guy came and replaced some part. The lock to the balcony didn't work, but would have only been an issue if we had brought children. The other bathroom had unfinished drywall where they must have replaced the tub insert. It needs sanded, maybe another coat of joint compound, and needs paint. We couldn't get cable on the main TV, the bedroom nearest the door had cable but the remote didn't seem to work, and the TV in the bedroom nearest the balcony didn't have cable and wasn't a smart TV. The mirror in the bedroom closet closet to the balcony was broken. There were burn holes in the balcony furniture cushions. Sauna next to the pool didn't work for 4 out of 7 of the days we were there and hot tub jets were broke the last 3 days we were there. We really liked the location, but we don't feel it was in the condition it should have been for as much as we paid.

Started Off Rocky; Turrned Out Great!

Panhandle Getaways manages the property. They went above and beyond to make a bad situation good. When we first arrived I received a text saying the plumbers would be to our condo in about 30 minutes to run some water. Turns out that the master bedroom tub was leaking into the unit next door. Originally were told the master bathroom would be unusable. Chris from the HOA and the representatives from Panhandle getaways worked very hard to get the toilet and sink working immediately but the shower was shot for our stay. Panhandle getaways did some other things to alleviate the aggravation so they settled it fine by me. The leak was their fault nor was there anything they could have done to to prevent the leak. The shower repairs had not been completed when we left but they were well underway and the new shower looks great. Whoever stays there next will have an awesome shower. It appears to be bigger than the other one. The unit itself the unit itself is really nice. It's decorated nicely. The beds were comfortable although the foldout was not. Do you know of that are? If you plan to use the fold-out bring your own blankets & pillows. Sheets are provided. I read in one review the fold-out couch was broken and indeed it was still broken when we got there. I told Panhandle Getaways and they had someone out the next day to fix it. I read in anorher review the AC did not work but it worked fine while we were there. The unit really needs a vacuum cleaner or a dustpan at the minimum. There was a broom just no dustpan so we swept the sand up into a little pile in the corner . You're at the beach, you're going to get sand on the floor. As for housekeeping I think the housekeepers can do a better job between guest. There were several small things I noticed throughout our stay that should have been handled by house cleaning. The table and floor on the balcony was sticky from the previous guests. Apparently they had spilled something on the table. And the table was very dirty. When we finished cleaning the sticky spots the paper towels were completely black. The rug in the kitchen was also sticky with either grease or something had been spilled on it. It needs to be washed. The kitchen table was sticky around the edges as well. Other than those items that unit was very clean. Would I stay in unit 1504 Ocean Villa again? Yes! Will I book a vacation thru Panhandle getaways in the future? Definitely!

This was an amazing property. I would suggest providing a bit more essentials. Just kitchen utensil and salt and pepper. Or note that in the listing that those things aren’t supplied. Other than that great place.

The villa was in an excellent location and we had a great view of the ocean. The villa itself was OK but outdated. The furniture was old and uncomfortable and the appliances were outdated as well. There was also a dent in the wall in the second bedroom. If we come back to Panama City we will look for a more updated villa.

i enjoyed my stay

it was the first time my family and I had been to Panama City beach so the excitement of staying in something other than a hotel was high. Had a bit of confusion on how to check-in, but the app was most helpful. Upon entry of the rental, the space exuded comfort, and was surprisingly more spacious than we had anticipated considering it was five(5) of us. The view overlooking the beach was awesome, being able to listen to the waves via the master bedroom's patio door made for a beautiful scene. A couple of areas that could use a bit of fine-tuning were the furniture and decor. The living room furniture, in particular the sofa-bed, was very outdated, and was in a very "lived in" condition, which made for some interesting nighttime noises when unfolding the enclosed bed. I'm sure it was immaculate at some point, but not the point when we were there. Not to mention a busted sofa pillow, and a broken faux piece of fruit that was sitting on the bar. In addition, the lock on the patio door at the living room could use some oil considering that its lock would only engage every 3rd or 4th try. Overall, minor nuanced grievances aside, the stay was enjoyable.

Very nice condo!!

This condo was terrific!! Gorgeous views, plenty of space for family of 5. Great location and amenities. The condo looked exactly as shown in the pictures. The only negatives are the intermittent internet/wifi and the refrigerator didn't really keep everything cold. The positives far outweighed the negatives. We would definitely stay again.
