Great hosts of a well stocked vrbo getaway

The owners were very attentive and cared that our stay was as pleasant as could be… our kids enjoyed playing with the dog. The unit was well stocked with many extras that truly felt like home.

Great space to relax

Our family of six stayed at Cumbra Vista and enjoyed the space especially the salt water hot tub ate long hikes. Easy check in and great communication.

Spectacular and well equipped

We had a great stay and found the property to be well equipped with a lot of extras. There was plenty of space for us and the neighborhood was exceptionally quiet. This property is highly recommended!

Better than expected!

My family of four stayed for four nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The beds and furniture were comfortable and clean. Extra linens and blankets were in the closets. The kitchen was well-stocked and everything was labeled for ease of use. We appreciated the hot tub and outside space very much. The neighborhood seemed safe and well-lit. Best of all, the customer service from the homeowner was amazing. We will definitely be back.

Very Clean, Shared Space Home

My husband and I and our 3 young kids (ages 3-8) rented this beautiful home for a week in July. It was very clean, and had everything we could have needed or wanted in a vacation rental. The owners thought of everything, including labeling light switches (which was very helpful). One thing that caught us off guard was that this is a shared space, in that the owners live on the top floor. They did a great job in making it into a private space, with our own entrance, and they were very professional and never intruded on our privacy. We were just expecting to have the whole property to ourselves. So as long as you have that in mind, it was like a high-end duplex. Out of all of the things we did while in Co Springs our favorite was rafting with Journey Quest. We highly recommend them!

Not Honeymoon Friendly

Maybe a great place for a fun family vacation, not so much a honeymoon… I’m not sure why no one in early comments mention that you’re basically staying in the basement of someone’s house. The hosts were friendly (brought us some flowers and sparkling juice as a gift) and helpful (suggesting places); however, if we would have realized (three different people looking for any reason not to book this place) that this was not somewhere fully secluded with only the dog in the backyard to worry about, we would have chosen somewhere else. The home was nice, has all amenities, the different equipment it says, extra towels, and more… just was a bit awkward. We were informed upon arrival that the owners could potentially come down stairs to use the sauna anytime while we were there, and that they would just lock the door and only be an hour… We noticed the first day we were headed out on an adventure that the sliding door didn’t lock… when I brought it up, it was said maybe we weren’t trying hard enough and that Pete would look at it… during our week, anytime we weren’t there, the door was unlocked where anything could have been stolen, luckily, this Vrbo is in a nice neighborhood and nothing went missing. All in all, this Vrbo just wasn’t as cracked up as it seemed to be. If we’d realized sooner, we might have just gotten a hotel instead of spending money we thought was going towards a unit that we had by ourselves and maybe a wondering dog.

Fantastic place

Hosts were so helpful. Had everything we needed from detergent to coffee. Location was so convenient to everything we needed at the USAFA and restaurants and shopping. Again, hosts were very thoughtful in showing us around and offering suggestions of where to go. Game selection was great. Hot tub and sauna really nice too!

Home away from home

We stayed for 6 nights at this wonderful property. We were very impressed with the thoughtfulness put into stocking the house for guests. It really felt like home! It’s a great location with many restaurants close by and local attractions within a short drive. The home is very quiet with the owners on the top level, you wouldn’t even know they were home. We loved Buddy the dog visiting daily. Would highly recommend this VRBO.

Wonderful stay!

We had a great stay at this lovely home. It was well equipped with everything we needed, and it allowed us to spread out more than a hotel suite would have. We loved, Buddy, the dog who visited us on occasion. The owners, Pete and Susanah, were readily available if we needed anything. The home is located close to many restaurants and a super center for groceries if you need them. Our rafting trip and the Royal Gorge were an easy hour and a half drive. Zip lining and entrance to Pikes Peak were about 30 minutes drive as well. Overall, a wonderful stay!

We have a great stay! It was clean and well stocked. Only concern that I had was the many steps to the entrance, but it wasn't a problem for us. We felt very secure and safe the entire visit. The salt water hot tub was a treat!!

Delightful Stay

We very much enjoyed our stay. Everything was as advertised (and then some) and it was very well equipped. Perfect for an extended stay where one values a place that feels more like home. The owners live onsite (upstairs) and provide you with total privacy, yet are readily available if you have questions. We will definitely stay here again upon returning to the area.

Family Getaway

Felt at home. Owners have an eye for detail and accommodating. Entire family enjoyed the hot tub and comfortable beds. Great location to explore the area- Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, Garden of the Gods, Cave of the Winds, various breweries and restaurants. Thank you for a memorable vacation!

Thank you for your hospitality

Our stay over the Christmas Holiday was very nice. We had an unfortunate mishap at the Garden of the Gods on our first day there and Pete and Susanah were very helpful in getting a form printed that we needed to complete then faxed it for us. Thank you so much. The temperature in the evenings were a bit chilly at first, but was adjusted as soon as I brought it to their attention. Buddy came to visit us often, he was a treat, as my daughter was missing her dog. We couldn't have asked for nicer hosts. Thank you, Cindy and family

Conveniently Located with-in Blocks of Woodmen Road (Major 6 Lane Access, East and West, across the North end of the City, Connecting with Highway 24 on the Eastern Plains) and Powers Blvd. (Which Circles the Outer Perimeter of the city from I-25 and approximately the US Air Force Academy North of Colorado Springs to I-25 Beyond The Broadmoor Hotel near Ft Carson on the South end of the City, with some of the Newest Entertainment, Restaurants and Shopping Areas.
