El HideAway en Somerset

80 acres de tranquilidad. Una casa increíble con 2 suites principales en el primer piso con baños privados, 4 habitaciones en el piso de arriba (que son más grandes que la mayoría de las habitaciones principales) con cada par compartiendo baños Jack-n-Jill donde cada habitación tiene su propio lavabo. Una sala de juegos con mesas de poker, pesas y una cinta de correr.

El porche envolvente es extra profundo y es un placer relajarse mientras bebes vino o tienes un flotador de rootbeer. La piscina tiene un tobogán acuático de 30 pies, una cascada y un spa con un baño en la zona de la piscina. Un Bar-B-Queue también está disponible ....

Un alquiler de vacaciones tan magnífico; donde será difícil decidir dónde disfrutar de sus comidas, en el porche, junto a la piscina o en la mesa de comedor con capacidad para 10 personas cómodamente.

La degustación abunda de viernes a domingo y localmente tenemos el histórico Jackson, Placerville (también conocido como Hangtown) y numerosas microcervecerías y viticultores. Nuestras bodegas favoritas son Saluti Cellars en Somerset y Iverson's Vineyard Winery en Fairplay ... y nos encanta la comida y la cerveza en Solid Ground Brewing. ¿Asistir a una boda localmente? Entonces, este es el lugar perfecto para hasta 20 personas. Estacionamiento ... puede estacionar 20 autos aquí y tener espacio para más sin problemas.

We had a great time! This home is wonderful for parties up to twelve. The host did a great job furnishing and stocking the house. The kitchen in beautiful and has everything you need to prepare all of your meals. Also, there was never a dull moment in the game room or pool and spa. We would definitely book this home again. A big thank you to the host for sharing your home with our family.

What a great surprise location

This was an excellent location for a retreat. It was expansive with plenty of places to gather and to be alone. There were plenty of large bedrooms and private bathrooms. The kitchen was perfect for group meal preparation. The game room was a fun space to turn off the work and enjoy some recreation.

We have just returned home from spending four choice days at the HideAway for our three-generation (17-member) Family Reunion. It felt to us that our hosts had bent every effort to make us comfortable and welcome. The ample size and numerous rooms and nooks, inside and out provided both individual privacy and comfortable space for whole group gatherings. We had hired a professional photographer to document our Reunion, and she had no trouble finding beautiful settings and backdrops.Others have mentioned the well-supplied kitchen, and we agree that the kitchen is so completely and thoughtfully appointed that one could want for absolutely nothing. The beautiful pool and slide was a major source of entertainment and the elevated, several-level pool decks with various tables and chairs and lounges and fire pit provided a delightful venue for the whole group--both day and night. Finally, the owner/host and the wonderful property manager were delightful to work with. For all of these reasons and more, we are happy to give our enthusiastic recommendation for The Hideaway in Somerset without reservation.

Fun Family Reunion

We had 16 members of our family, including my 95-year-old Aunt and her 86-year-old brother, join us at the Somerset house. It was a lovely time with lots of catching up and visiting, good homemade food and visiting on that wide, open porch in the afternoon sun. The ground were beautiful and brought such peace and the hikes to see the Sunset every evening were well worth the effort!

Annual Ladies Weekend

This is our 4th year and we are planning to stay again next year. It is AMAZING! So much room and amenities. The owner is easy to communicate with if any issues arise. All of us 60+ yr old women look forward to this all year long. Can't wait for next September.

Amazing property!

We absolutely fell in love with the Hideaway! We had a small family wedding there and it was perfect! The pool/slide kept the kids busy and the house was the perfect size for us all. The owners were more than accommodating and super responsive to all my questions along the way. We can’t wait to stay again, this time for a vacation and reminiscing! Thank you to the Deans!

The Hideaway-Perfect Place

This house was amazing! My family loved it! House is huge, very spacious and never felt crowded. Porch is wrapped around with fire pit tables. Very nice pool, hot tub and slide. Host Matthew is very nice and responsive to questions. Thank you Matthew for accommodating my family!! We will definitely be back!!

Family Vacation

This was our second time renting this property and we will keep doing so as long as it's available. It's the perfect house for family gatherings. We are from NY and have family in the Placerville area so staying at this house is convenient for everyone to gather at. The house has everything you need and more. The pool is the perfect place to hang during the day and the enormous kitchen is the place to hang at night. There is so much space and the game room is the perfect way to end a day. We'll be back in a couple of years!!

My wife is my best friend and we have 4 beautiful children together along with a late addition to our family who are all doing wonderfully. One lawyer, one nurse, one firefighter, one property manager, and one child development expert! We bought this place as our retirement shangri-la.

Simply an awesome, private, beautiful setting and home that is perfect for large family gatherings and reunions or maybe a weekend getaway with 4-6 couples sharing wine tasting and fine dining. We named it "theHideAway" because it is the complete escape from everyday busy life. It would also be excellent for a weekend executive team retreat with the spouses and significant others exploring the local wineries and breweries. Historic Jackson and Hangtown are nearby along with Colma and the wine country.

Pool - Beautiful pool with a built-in waterslide and spa.
Game Room!! - Huge game room with a pool table, card table(s), foosball table, air hockey, a treadmill, dumbbells, and a weight machine.
Privacy Galore! - None of the bedrooms share walls with adjacent bedrooms. They all have at least 3 walls separating them from the neighboring bedrooms. Two downstairs master suites and the 4 bedrooms upstairs share jack and jill bathrooms.
80 Acres of privacy.
