Great location. Clean house. My family of four had a great time. Beach right across the street was clean and quiet. Had everything we needed in the house. Management team was responsive. Will come again. And if you are reviewing this, look into the trolley system. It is great. We didnt need a car all week.

We stayed for 3 days. The bathtub had hair (not ours) and a small piece of trash, no curtain in window in shower (people working in building nextdoor), shower curtain and rod fell down, curtain in one room would not close (had to change in the closet), washing machine did not work, kitchen sink faucet was loose, door to enter was difficult to figure out, noisy road. On the bright side, good accessories for beach going and great restaurants nearby.

4th of July Weekend

My overall stay was great. The check-in process was super easy and we were able to just walk right in. I was super happy that there were lots of nice little touches such as dishwasher pods, laundry pods, plastic utensils and plastic wrap, beach towels in each bedroom, beach chairs and boogie boards, and coffee pods (which was helpful since I didn’t realize it was a keurig). The distance from the property to the beach was superb. Literally you walk across the street and it’s a very short distance to get right to the water, which was amazing.Some things that need to be worked on include the kitchen faucet needs to be tightened, the bathroom would have been better with a vent when taking a shower. I think that might’ve helped with the bottom of the door peeling. The king bedroom was a little warm during the stay. The lamps in the queen room didn’t work. In the kitchen, it would’ve been nice to have a few other utensils like tongs or some additional silverware.My biggest complaint would be the upstairs unit. The floorboards creaked so badly and they were walking around at all times of the night. It was very annoying. when someone was walking upstairs, it almost felt like our unit was swaying, which was kind of odd. Overall I feel that had it not been so creaky and noisy upstairs, I would’ve gotten better sleep at night.This is definitely somewhere I would consider staying again as long as the floor boards were fixed or we were in a different unit in the same property.

Peaceful and easy

The location was wonderful. Many reasonably priced restaurants with delicious food that were close enough to walk to. Including spots for coffee and quick breakfast. The mattresses and pillows were some of the best that we have ever stayed on. It was very clean and spacious. The outdoor area on the Deck was great to hang out on. The property could use a little work and updating, but that wasn’t high on our list of importance because we didn’t spend a lot of time in it, we were here to enjoy the beach. Everything we needed for the beach was supplied, which is great, we’ve been to other beach areas and you have to bring everything which is almost impossible when you’re flying. The company that manage the property was very nice and helpful! My husband‘s only complaint was that whoever lives upstairs, they seemed to live there not to be renters, we’re pretty loud during certain parts of the day, when their children ran through the house the noise echoed. But again we didn’t spend much time in the house so that was not a big deal. We would stay at this property again when we returned to the area.

Clean well maintained property

Close to the beach, about a block walk. Place was very clean and the ac worked great! The master bedroom isa little warnerFully stocked kitchen for all your cooking needs. Easy check in and check out. Wish checkout was 1hr later.

Outdated and desperately needing upgrades

The property listing stated on the beach which it was not, which I should have read more reviews and I would’ve known that. The location is across the street from the beach with a peek a boo view. The parking was tight and difficult for our older people in the party to maneuver. The overall furnishings were severely outdated and cheap. There were holes in the wall, the flooring in the primary bedroom was coming up, and the doors were peeling and warped in the bathroom. Overall, it is not a place that I would recommend for an extended stay.

Beach Villa - IRB

The property was exactly as it was portrayed. It's definitely an older property and some of the furnishings are old as well. The weather was cold and rainy so we were not able to enjoy the outdoor deck or use the beach and all the toys they provided. The unit came equipped with a washer and dryer which was nice. Loved the parking situation underneath and there is definitely room for 3 vehicles if needed.Just a suggestion to the owner, it might be helpful to have more kitchen towels, cloths, coffee mugs and a supply of coffee (or at least enough coffee for everyone to have a cup the 1st morning). There was also no ice in the freezer. That should be a must.Only complaint was the noise from the upstairs unit. You can hear them walking all around and it was quite loud. I would definitely rent this unit again in better weather though.

Great Location

This place is steps away from the beach! Great location! The internet/TV didnt work during our short stay but understandable because of the hurricanes. Bring a bag of ice as there is not an ice maker in the freezer. Place was clean and again a great location.

The communication and check in process and check out process were great. not a lot of things to do but take the trash out... The actual property was old (not new as listing stated), have mold in the vents along with dust. There was no deep clean, left over hair from previous guest in the master bedroom. The furniture was very worn and visible "dirty" as well as the walls.

Perfect for a long weekend

Super easy access with clear instructions, timely communication from the manager, and the property was precisely as photographed and described. Loved the balcony for relaxing! Serenity in close proximity to the beach and a few restaurants was perfect; much preferred over the chaos and grit of Clearwater Beach. Only complaint is the noise from the tenants above our unit moving around at all hours — it disrupted our sleep. Overall, very pleased with our stay and would return!

Here is just a quick overview of my career along with a few of our Vacation strengths in the rental industry.
I have been involved in the hospitality field most of my life. After graduating from Boston University back in 1986 I got my start working as a night auditor in a small hotel in Boston. I was instantly fascinated with this industry and wanted to know everything about it. I enjoyed finding new ways to improve the overall experience for the guests and in doing so, I was promoted often. I learned all aspects of each department and through the years I became the General Manager of some well-known hotels and upscale boutique inns.
During my corporate career as a General Manager of a Hyatt Hotel in Tampa Florida, I had an opportunity to manage a small beach vacation rental along the shores of the Gulf. Simply put…I was hooked. This became my new passion and career.
My wife and I had stayed in vacation rentals in the past with mixed feelings about our stays, I knew there was room for improvement in the Vacation Rental business and I was excited to get started.
My team and I have worked hard over the years and I feel our success at Carter Coastal Vacation Rentals is from having a variety of vacation property options that suits each guests needs and budget. We also have chosen to keep Carter Coastal Vacation Rental business relatively small in order to maintain a personable connection with each of our new arrivals. Several things made me decide on this purchase. The location is perfectly located across the street of a quieter section of beach. Easy access, walk to the beach. Only 4 quaint units in this building with a beach feel. Park on site and walk to pubs, shops, local restaurants and of course the BEACH ! Large deck ...perfect for watching the sun set into the Gulf of Mexico.
Come and enjoy, completely renovated with the guest in mind.
