¿Qué tal esto para algún paraíso: un resort frente a la playa y un condominio tipo loft en el segundo piso de dos pisos en un edificio frente a la playa, completo con techos altos y ventanas de doble altura que le ofrecen mucha luz y vistas al océano? Si le gusta el sonido de eso, traiga a la familia, este condominio tiene una cama tamaño queen y una cama individual en el nivel del desván, y gemelos en el piso principal (por lo que tiene capacidad para cinco), dos baños que tienen combinaciones de bañera / ducha y un baño privado. Cocina totalmente equipada para ayudar a alimentarlos a todos, de manera conveniente y económica. Por cierto, los dormitorios y la cocina también tienen su propia vista al mar, y el dormitorio del piso principal se puede separar de la sala de estar con las puertas shoji. Manténgase fresco con la brisa del océano y los ventiladores de techo o utilice el aire acondicionado.

As a friend directed me here (my first time on Maui), she said it was more central to everything you want to see on Maui. She was right! It’s peaceful, away from the crowded tourist beaches, but also close to them if that’s what you prefer.Sitting on the balcony and watching the sunrise over HaleakalĀ every morning is enough for me to rate it a 5 star!! But also, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked and it’s a very clean. We were 5 adults and we were all comfortable.

Family vacation

Beautiful location, steps away from the beach. Nice, clean unit that accommodated a family of 4. A short walk to the harbor with shops and restaurants. Have been to this condo before and will continue to visit again!

Amazing location

This place is in great location. Condo had everything we needed for our family. Kids loved the pool. My husband and I enjoyed our walks on the beach.

Amazing place to stay

We truly loved this place. Central to all parts of the island, right on the beach, had everything u would need to relax, enjoy and cook. You can wash clothes if u need at the center laundry area.

Great place for a a family vacation

Right on the beach with windows overlooking the bay. Kids loved the beach, the pool, and the loft and lanai overlooking the beach. No regrets for a young family vacation.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the second time I have stated in Hono Kai Resort. This is a great place to stay. It is centrally located to West Maui, South Maui, Upcountry and the airport. We stayed in unit B4 and it was perfect. It was recently remodeled and we were the first guests in the unit and it was beautifully done and had everything needed for the stay. When I say everything, they thought about everything someone might need for a stay. There was good privacy for both of my teenage kids. It had gorgeous views of the ocean. The staff works very hard to keep the resort working beautifully and even with outside construction in the parking lot they were great at communicating information to the tenants as needed. I would recommend this location to anyone that is coming to Maui whether the first time or coming again. The location, amenities, and value make this a great place to stay especially for a family. The beach out front isn't much but there are so many other beaches to go to within a short drive from here that was never an issue for us. This is a practical place to stay not an over the top high priced resort but you can't beat the location.

Family vacation

Everything was fine, we enjoyed every minute. For us, the location was perfect and we would absolutely gladly come back. Management is very accessible and friendly. The place is not brand new, obviously, which some people complain about, but it really has no effect whatsoever on the enjoyment. Everything you need is there and our stay was very comfortable. The only thing I would suggest to the managers is to make sure that all lights are functioning and to upgrade the "starter kit" with higher quality items (e.g., not the absolute cheapest toilet paper and paper towels you can find). The cost for this is negligible but it makes a much better impression.

Not Very Clean

Property said cleaned per covid guidelines. it may have been wiped down SOME but was NOT clean by any means. Cockroach droppings on kitchen counter and windowsill when arrived. We have stayed in other places in complex much nicer than this.

Great location, little dated

Overall we would recommend this property. We had three adults and two teenagers with us. Condo had plenty of room. The Good: If you are looking for a reasonably priced condo, with ocean views and centrally located, look no further! This second floor condo is less than a 100 yards from the ocean. You can see the ocean from every window in the condo. We went to sleep each night to the sound of ocean. This is one of the few condos we found that actually had five beds. No pull out coaches. Beds were all comfortable. The bad: The beach is really rocky and if you walk during high tide you need to be careful as large rocks and will come up and bang up your feet and ankles. The condo itself is a little dated. Clean, just dated. Small pool. Small TV’s, although we didn’t turn the TV on once while we were there. The Ugly: There was a raw sewage smell in a part of the complex that we had to walk through every time we went to or from our car. Luckily that smell was not noticeable in our unit or on our balcony. That is my biggest complaint about this unit. It was “fixed” our 4th night there but the smell was still there afterwards just not as bad. Even with that smell. We would recommend this condo to anyone who wants to feel like they are on a secluded island. It is located at the end of a dead end road, on the beach, in the middle of Maui. We felt safe, slept great, and had plenty of room.

AMAZING OCEAN VIEW

There were 4 of us on this trip and this property had everything we needed. We were so impressed with our view! Literally walk out the door and down the steps and in just a few feet you are on the beach. It is a little dated, if I could recommend anything it would be to buy new comforter sets for the beds. It would just give a little more modern touch without much added expense. I am not complaining though, everything was clean and ready to go when we got there. They even let us do a late check out for no extra charge because of our flight delay. I highly recommend this location and would definitely stay here again!

Can't beat the view

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A view from every window, the ocean at your feet, that's why you choose this condo. You will not be impressed by the interior. It easily classifies as "run-down". Worn out and rusty shower stalls (the upstairs one never got hot water), chipped tile, beaten up furniture, is easily overlooked because of all the units in the complex this one has three sides of windows for ventilation and views. Plan to bring everything. There wasn't even salt and pepper in the kitchen. No beach chairs or boogie boards (although we found a pair of abandoned ones by the trash and left them in the unit), one set of snorkel and fins. The condo is sufficient. Just don't come here expecting something really nice.

October Visit

The central Maui location has always been our preference, the unit is the most prime spot in this condo complex, and the condo is located right on the beach with beautiful sunrise views from the lanai.The condo itself was clean and the kitchen was well equipped (we couldn't find a corkscrew). The internet was good enough to support a couple of hours of work time each day. This was our fourth visit to this condo complex and this unit was the most in-need of an update. I could list all the shortcomings but I think it's fair to say that the location of this unit keeps it rented, not the trendy furnishings and decor. Our stay (three adults in our 60's was nine nights and we enjoyed our time very much. God willing, we'll be back again sometime soon.

Hono Kai B4 Review for December 2021 Stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Awesome location. Accommodates 5 via queen bed and 3 single beds. This is an older unit in need of a restoration (painting, carpets, furniture, entertainment technology). But it is priced accordingly. There was no other unit close in price that is right on the ocean that accommodates 5 that we could find. Management company was responsive and knowledgeable of this specific unit (we called after excessive December rains that damaged some resorts). The Hono Kai resort was well maintained and clean. The beach was clean, great waves, good snorkeling, saw whales almost every day. The thing I liked best about the unit was working on the balcony in the morning and watching the sun rise over Mt Haleakala.

Lovely spot. Unit is older carrying only the basics.

On the beach end of the complex so it's definitely for people who love the raucous sound of the ocean. It's an older unit which is fine. The rub was the lack of things I have come to expect like salt and pepper and Kleenex and the things that just about every unit provides like some spices and oils for cooking and some basic snorkeling gear. We could find none of those things which is unusual for a beachside unit.

cute place with potential but far from good

the pros; the location is great. Right on the beach. The landscape and maintenance ia good, pretty. The layout of the unit is very good, easily accomodates a family. The cons; the unit is dated. This itself would not be an issue, however, the cleanliness is. Not only dirty, but filthy... The refrigerator was leaking, our food got soaked. There is one very old a/c window unit downstairs that needs to go on full blast so people upstairs don't boil but that makes people dowmstairs freeze to death. The bathtubs make you not wanna get into them, so dirty. the mattress in the loft upstairs is old, so used it made me wake up with a major back ache every morning. Over all, the entire unit needs a major remodeling done in order to be enjoyable.

Perfect Location for a Beach Vacation

My best friend and I (both in our 20s) stayed here for a week in November. This condo is in the perfect location, both in the complex and just on the island as a whole. This condo is easily accessible from the parking lot and right at the top of the stairs. Step outside and you're within feet of the pool and the beach. The beach is very nice and there is some decent snorkeling right off the shore. I would recommend going down the beach to the left from pool as we found it less rocky in the water. Inside the condo is very spacious. Some areas did seem a little, but nothing that was of any real concern or had any impact on our stay. Lots of dishes and kitchen appliances made cooking and preparing meals. The Lanai was where we ate most meals as you have a great view of the ocean. The area of Maalaea was very quiet and a great place to relax. The beaches were never very crowded and we almost always had the pool to ourselves. Hono Kai was a perfect central location for exploring the island as well. Overall we have no complaints about the property and wish we could have stayed longer!

Great location

This condo is right on the beach. The only problem we found was that the AC has a hard time keeping up. In the loft it gets hot. We explored the whole island and this was a great location to do that.

30 steps (literately) from the warm Pacific Ocean at Maui

This is BY FAR the closest water front location I have ever seen. Very nice two floors facing the ocean from both all windows. Everything is spotless clean and ready for your vacation.
