All readers should give little to no credibility to Traveler's review. First, Traveler was not pushed to this property. She inquired about one, which was not available, so I recommended this property, which Traveler selected on her own free will and accord. Second, as far as communication goes, Traveler doesnt answer her phone. Every call goes to voicemail and then she calls you back. Also, if I miss her call and call back immediately, my call still goes to voicemail. Very shady way to communicate. Third, Traveler is one of those people who exaggerate an issue and are unappreciative. What Traveler doesnt mention is that out of the goodness of our hearts we purchased 12 large pots of flowers for her event, which she informed me was a huge success that she and her guests enjoyed, from the house and its facilities, to the caterer and decor. Also, it is important to note the following: the king mattresses were new and they are platform beds (no clue what she is referring to about noise), a new barbecue was delivered for her prior to her arrival, inaddition to the barbecue from last season, the house was absolutely sanitary, as the carpets were steam cleaned for her and the tile grout throughout the house was cleaned, and all bedrooms were set up with smart tv's, as well. The interior of the house was freshly painted, too. The property was and is in good condition. We pride ourselves in delivering a safe, well maintained property for our guests to enjoy. Traveler requested things that I am not responsible to provide, such as floats for the pool, which she knew prior to her arrival. Prior to Traveler's arrival, I told her that some deck boards were replaced. The dumpster was scheduled to be emptied, but the company did not timely go to the house. Due to this inconvenience, Traveler knew to use the dumpster at the house next door (not down the road), however, she left her trash next to the dumpster at this house, regardless. She didnt walk anywhere. There was ONE nail left on the outdoor bar. There were no nails in the pool. My partner forgot that he left the nail on top of the bar, that's how I know. And the photo she sent to me was of the nail on the outdoor bar. Also, Traveler wanted the pool company to return and clean the pool again, upon her arrival. The entire pool was vacuumed twice, now, which certainly would have picked up any and all debris. There was one board where the contractor screwed at an angel and the two screws were sticking out into the pool. That issue was resolved by removing the two screws. Regarding the hot water, there was plenty of hot water. Traveler told me one of her guests didn't have hot water the morning they checked out. It takes a minute or two for hot water to flow from the basement, where the water heaters are located, to the upstairs bathrooms, as the pipes cool and become room temperature throughout the night. There was plenty of hot water, as one fresh water pipe union needed to be replaced and was leaking on top of one of the water heaters. There are four hot water heaters and the house is split zoned. So, even if one water heater doesn't work, there are other bathrooms with hot water. Also, Traveler informed me of the leak Sunday late in the evening prior to her departure the next morning. There were no chemicals on the tennis court. It was resurfaced with the US Open colors and the two extra paint cans were placed outside of the fence in the woods by the company. I will appreciate her payment of the propane for the pool heater that she used during her stay.
