Loved It!!!!

Great place to stay. Views were great, beach clean and water beautiful. We had a great time and would stay there again. Condo unit was great size and set up perfect.

Great stay

The condo was clean, very nice, with plenty of room for me, my 16yr old son and 4 friends, and a friend of mine as well. We had no issues at all and loved the view from the 25th floor.

Spring Break Stay 2025

We loved our stay at Tidewater Beach Resort! It was right on the beach with easy access, pool was right outside, gym was accessible, and the condo was perfectly sized. There was a lot for the children to do, and for the adults. The ONLY downside to staying here was that we were on the 25th floor and the elevators were very slow. We waited probably 30 mins for the elevators each time, but other than that we had an amazing time!! We will definitely be back next year!

Great place to stay

Overall this was a fantastic place to stay. The condo is gigantic and the view was amazing. We really like that each bedroom has its own bathroom. The kitchen was well equipped minus a decent skillet (our family likes to make breakfast each day). Only minor complaints are the furniture is a bit outdated and all of the beds are hard and difficult to get comfortable in but they supplied plenty of blankets which we made mattress toppers out of. The amenities of the resort are great and you could stay without ever having to leave the property thanks to the market and restaurant. All in all, i would definitely recommend and we would stay here again.

Family vacation

The master bed was not very comfortable. The pots and pans were not very good. The utensils for cooking were very cheap and did not work well. No pot holder. The elevators take forever with the number of people in the building.

Thank you for booking with us. I hate to hear that you felt the master bed wasn't to your comfort. You're our first guest to complain about the bed. Fortunately, I have contacted the current guest, and they are happy with the mattress in the master. I also hate to hear that you had a long wait for the elevators during your stay. We will have an inspection done to address all the concerns you brought to our attention on the next empty day. Our office is open 7 days a week and we even have an after-hours line for emergencies. I wish you would've called our office to report these issues when you found them. I would've loved to address the issues right away for you. I hope you have better luck during your next vacation.

First and last time at Tidewater Resort

Reviewer Comments: The rental was on 25th floor when we arrived all but one elevator was broken 2 plus hours to load our stuff. They were overcrowded and almost impossible to go up or down all week

The floor number is listed on the top line of the property description. The elevators can be trying at Tidewater especially during check-in, check-out times. There are 7 total elevators so there were 6 that were working. I go to Tidewater all the time and just don't wait that long on the elevators. But I don't go during check-in times. It is never impossible for me. Sounds like we missed a kitchen towel which was delivered promptly and we tried to gather more information on so-called cleaning issues but could not get additional details to remedy. Best of luck in future travels.

The only complaint was that the master bed was super hard and uncomfortable. Otherwise 5 stars by far!!!

Mosts of the dishes that we used we had to wash because there was dried food stuck to them. There was dried toothpaste in one of the bathrooms sinks.The location of the condo was great. The staff that we dealt with were great. the only thing that we really had an issue with was the cleanliness.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The master bed felt like sleeping on a concrete slab. Each bed came with one pillow per guest (so a Queen bed came with two pillows total). The ice maker did not work so we had to purchase ice for our entire stay. The elevators were ATROCIOUS and caused a lot of the disdain for this stay. We would wait up to 45 minutes to get from ground floor to 25th floor and could hear guests constantly complaining (rightfully so). The only true upsides to this condo were the view from master bedroom and the location of the condo itself. The pool and hot tub were very nice as well, and the staff was friendly.

Yes, each queen size bed does come with two pillows. I'm sorry to hear that the icemaker wasn't working during your stay and that you had an atrocious time with the elevators. I wish you would've notified us about the icemaker, so we could've installed a new one during your stay. I hope you have better luck with the elevators next year.

The overall experience was positive, and I appreciated the cleanliness and roominess of the rental. We chose this condo because of the number of beds and bathrooms and it worked perfectly for us. Parking was so easy and the beach space was plentiful despite being such as large building. I would easily stay here again!

We watched the sunset every night from our perch on Floor 25! Great communication with Four Star which included an easy check-in/check-out. Wrist bands to access the many amenities (beach, pools, hot tubs, movie theatre, exercise room) made everything so efficient. The elevators were prompt in February. We can't say enough about our wonderful stay.

Location is great. The elevators are horrible. There were roaches, we read the reviews before so we took sticky pads to place around our luggage and appliances that give off heat. The ceiling fan in the middle room did not work and the light was blown in the back bedroom. The front bedroom mattress slept horrible. The furniture is old and worn out. The condo is very spacious with lots of room. There aren’t drawers for your clothes in the middle and back room so take plenty of hangers.
