Perfect family-friendly condo!

We loved it! The view was wonderful and the condo was very comfortable. The bathrooms were huge and the couch was comfy. We made great use of the pool and the walk to the beach was easy-peasy. The washer-dryer was very appreciated too. The Walmart is only one mile down the road. Could not have been more convenient!

Family stay

Very nice updated property, nice location with 2 pools and the beachside pool bar was a noce surprise as well. Overall very great stay! Only thing was an issue with the refrigerator shelves being broke, but other than that no other issues a d a great stay.

Best condo we have stayed at

This condo was like staying at home. Plenty of room for everyone, appreciated the little touches like books, board games etc. plenty of room and kitchen appliances to eat in. And a beautiful short walk to beach. Also a nice extra was this condo owner reserved 2 chairs and an umbrella for our stay. Would stay here again just for that , Overall best condo in Destin by far

Perfect family-friendly condo! The view was wonderful and the condo was so comfy! The bathrooms were huge and updated. We loved using the large pool and then coming upstairs for a late lunch and nap. So peaceful. The walk to the beach was no big deal at all. It was more like crossing a one-way street, the street was so narrow, and the facility paved the way nicely. You enter through gates with a code to another small pool with a bar and then you can walk out to the beach. It was a non-issue and well worth it to have the really big pool that most condos directly on the beach do not have. The Walmart is only a mile away and there is a fantastic local fresh fish market in the same shopping center. It could not have been more convenient! We would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Perfect Beach Getaway

We loved the condo at Sterling Shores. We traveled as a family of 5 with our 3 children ages 12, 7, and 4. We felt right at home in the condo and it had everything we needed. The wagon and boogie boards in the closet were an added bonus for the beach. The beach was an easy 5 minute walk from the condo and we enjoyed renting chairs right on the beach. If you don't want to rent chairs you will want to bring your own as their arent any in the condo. Same for beach towels. When the kids were done in the ocean we loved the pool and spent hours there as well. The Back Porch restaurant is just across the street and there are plenty of grocery stores nearby. We did not rent a car and found Uber to be pretty conveneient for getting us where we wanted to go although we never went to far! Also, the couch in the living room does pull out into a bed (don't think that's noted) so that was an added bonus. There were lots of family games provided which made for a fun option when taking a break from the sun. All in all we'd definitely stay here again!!!

Nice place; great location; pretty pool!

The view was amazing; the sunsets were our favorite, looking out the balcony. The lagoon pool was nice to see. The balcony itself was very roomy, and one of the reasons I chose this Condo; it has plenty of seating and table to eat at. The inside of the Condo was very clean and nicely decorated, just a little Outdated in wall deco. The kitchen was very nice, but needed to have some of the household staples that usually any Condo has, whether left by others or Provided by the owner. We had to make too many trips to Walmart to get them: Saran Wrap, foil, more paper towels/napkins, more toilet paper, dish soap, coffee filters, seasoning, etc. When you're on vacation for 5 days, you don't want to Have to go buy all that stuff. We don't know if the maids take it all or the owner uses what's left by people, but there has to be some left! Or the owner should provide it for the Condo. The beaches are nice and clean; the sand is soft and white there. It's nice to have the extra pool by the beach, accessible via code, and the walk-up bar area. It was definately worth renting the umbrella and Chairs for The day. And the Sterling Shores renters get $10 off. I couldn't wait to eat at The Back Porch restaurant at the beach, walking distance from Condo. It was very good food! You have to try the smoked tuna dip for an appetizer! Check-in and check-out were very easy. Although the website says Sterling Shores has an on-site restaurant, we never saw one, except for the bar/grill out by beach pool. We had a Nice time. Can't wait to go back!

Amazing family vacation!!!!

This place is absolutely amazing! We will for sure rent this unit again! This unit is beautiful and has EVERYTHING that you could possibly need on your vacation. The owner has gone above and beyond. I was so worried when packing for our trip that I was going to forget something that we would need. All of this stress was for nothing. They have anything and everything that you could possibly need. There were dishes, board games for rainy days, a wagon to get your ice chest and things to and from the beach, water football for the kids, blender, measuring cups, coffee pot and anything else that you could possibly need is there already. The only thing during our week stay that I needed and didn't have was a pizza cutter which was no big deal bc there were plenty of knifes to use. The beach is directly across the street and the balcony has plenty of furniture to sit out and watch the waves and beautiful ocean. The balcony also overlooks the huge pool area. All of the furniture was comfortable. The only negative thing from the entire unit is the fold out sofa bed in living room is a little messed up. The foot part of the bed is broken and was held on with zip ties but it still served its purpose. My 18 year old slept on it with no problem. He just had to make sure that he got off of the bed towards the top. This minor issue didn't even phase us. I will recommend this property to anyone that asks me for suggestions on where to stay in Destin. We made a lifetime of memories and were very comfortable and happy the entire week!

Comfy, clean stay

We loved our stay in this unit. Beds were very comfortable, & the unit was quiet and away from the elevators. You can tell the owners have really invested in this unit. Only wish there were towel rods or hooks in the main bathroom. Would definitely love to stay in the unit again.

Amazing!!

Everything about this place was wonderful! It felt like a home away from home with everything we needed to feel comfortable. The patio was so spacious and the view was absolutely beautiful. The two free beach chairs with an umbrella was a pleasant surprise! I would return in a heartbeat!

Family Vacay

From booking this property to leaving on the last day was a seamless, easy process. Plenty of room for all of us. The staff at the “front desk” were helpful, nice, and accommodating. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. The only thing I could nit pick would be the shower in the master bath—not enough water pressure and hot water. Other than that, I would definitely stay here again! The beach was heavenly, and the pools were fantastic. We loved the beach, and the guys who provided the beach service were awesome!

Great stay!

We loved sterling shores! It was very clean and the room was great! Our kids loved the pool! I’m glad there were chair and umbrella rentals at the beach. It was difficult trying to contact the property manager.
