We have lived in Chicago's Lincoln Square neighborhood since 1998 and believe it's Chicago's best-kept secret. With large homes, wider streets, and a safe, family atmosphere, you'll feel less crowded than in other parts of the city. Lincoln Avenue runs through Lincoln Square and is two blocks away, offering every type of dining you could wish for, bars and pubs, a movie theater, a small music venue, boutique shopping, and more.
Several local breweries are within walking distance, including Begyle, Dovetail, Forbidden Root, and the Koval Distillery.
If you feel you must venture out of the neighborhood (which we rarely do :), the El train brown line is a short 5-minute walk, but isn't close enough to be heard from the property. The train can get you anywhere you want to go in the city.
